Stour XC Cross Country Course

Description:

Stour XC - Training and practice cross country course near Blandford, Dorset.

The layout is redesigned by Adrian Ditchman each year. We have over 40 fences of heights 50cm -100cm [2 – 3 feet] on the Main Course while our Mini Course has fences from 30cm – 50cm. A raised bank, ditches, a Trakehner and a triple jump on the raised bank also a water to water jump.

Clubs, instructors, riders and children are welcome, with reduced rates offered to pony clubs and instructors. We also have a convenient car park, warm up area and a cabin with a toilet

The course, which is open from March to October, is easily accessible directly from the A350, within 18 miles Ringwood, Dorchester, and Shaftesbury.

Booking is on-line with up to 7 one and half hour sessions per day with a maximum of six riders on each course.
