Julia Ryde-Rogers - Private Teaching & Clinics. Showing Specialist

Julia Ryde-Rogers has produced show horses and ponies for 30 years. She is on many affiliated judging panels, and has judged Horse of the Year show & Royal International Horse Show three times each, as well as county shows all over the country.

Based in Hampshire she now provides county level in-hand and ridden show production from your own yard and individual or group tuition.

Whether you're a nervous rider looking to develop the partnership between you and your horse or more experienced and wanting to improve a specific aspect of your riding or handling, Julia can provide patient tuition and work with you to achieve your goals.

Lessons are tailored to individual requirements but can include:

  • Ridden Tuition
  • Showing instruction
  • Turn out lessons for horse and rider, plaiting, quarter-marking and correct turn-out for competition
  • In hand, lunging and long-reining tuition
  • Helping to develop the basic skills required to deal with young animals, including handing, leading, loading and preparation for vet and farrier visits
  • Novice and nervous riders a speciality

Correct and safe practices are always at the forefront with the welfare of the horse being most important.
As well as private tuition, Julia runs occasional open clinics. including in hand and ridden showing, working hunter sessions, competition turn-out, training & starting young horses. Julia is fully insured and DBS checked
