How to Post a Classified AdvertPosting an advert couldn't be easier, but PLEASE read the Guidelines & Rules If they are not followed or required information is not provided, the advert will be rejected without notice. The NFED is browser based, so can be used with any device, computer, tablet, smart phone or tv but a fast internet connection will help with photo uploads. If you are using a mobile device, we recommend a good 4G or WiFi connection. There's no membership or accounts to worry about, simply post an advert & pay if necessary with a card, PayPal or bank transfer.
Click on the Submit New Advert button, then scroll down & click on the Continue>> button to go to Stage 1. Carefully fill in the submission form, ensuring that all fields are completed. Click on ? for pop up help. Email enquiries are turned on by default, but you can turn them off, doing so will remove the “Email Advertiser” link from the advert & show your phone number in its place. For safety reasons, your name & phone number will be hidden by default unless Email enquiries are turned off. To show you name & phone number you must select Yes. Select the most appropriate advert category. Although some categories are more flexible than others, adverts may be moved to a more suitable category at the administrator's discretion and without notice Enter an advert heading. Please word the advert heading carefully to attract attention up to a maximum of 75 characters. Due to Facebook Community Standards we cannot share animal adverts on Facebook that mention buying, offered, available, wanted, selling or include the price in the title. Writing out the main text elsewhere is the best way to plan your advert, check spelling & will give you a back-up copy if you are interrupted. Type the advert or copy & paste the advert text into the form. If you are submitting a free ad, don't forget to include the asking price. The price is recommended on paid ads, but entirely optional. Online video or photo album links can be included in the advert text. * Don't use formatting, such as bold or italics, this will be ignored. Choose a unique password, then Click on the "Preview My Ad" button to continue to Stage 2. Stage 2 - Preview advert. If you are happy with your ad, click on the "Post My Ad" button to add your advert to the database & continue to the final stage. Note: The preview is temporary, the advert is not saved until you click the "Post My Ad" button & go to Stage 3. Stage 3 - Photo & Payment. You will be sent an automated Email containing your advert number, password & further details. If you do not receive the Email, please check any spam or junk mail folders as enquiries will go to the same place. Photos To confirm images have uploaded, log in to your advert using the edit ad option or click on the advert link in your advert details Email. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure required images have uploaded successfully, they do not have to be approved. Photos create far more problems than anything else! There is a dedicated Photo Help category but don't struggle, we will be happy to upload them for you! Free Ads All adverts go through the same system so the payment button will show, but you can ignore this if it qualifies as a free advert.
