NFED Services Directory Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Advert Not Found?

Trouble Logging In to Your Advert?
If you can see your advert but receive a “not found” message when trying to log in, it’s usually due to an incorrect advert number or password.

Both details are included in your Advert Details Email and can also be recovered via the control panel.
Passwords are case-sensitive, so they must be entered exactly as originally set. To avoid typing errors, we recommend copying and pasting the password directly.

Occasionally, certain non-alphanumeric characters may cause login issues. If you suspect this is the case, please contact the administrator to have your password reset.

Renewed Advert? Use the New Advert Number
If you've renewed your advert, please note that the replacement advert will have a new advert number, which must be used to access or manage it. The updated details are sent to your email address upon renewal.

If you no longer have the email, simply search the classifieds using your email address—this will display all your live adverts. The advert number is shown at the top of each listing.

Important: Your 8-digit order number (used for paid ads) is different from your 6-digit advert number. The order number is generated by the shopping cart system and is not recognised by the classifieds.

Advert Not Found on the System
If the advert you are looking for is no longer available. This can happen for several reasons:

Unpaid or Unapproved Adverts

  • Unpaid and unapproved adverts are deleted after two days.
If you wish to reinstate the advert, please pay for the original advert and a replacement will be posted.
  • If the advert did not qualify as a free advert, it is treated as unpaid and removed after two days.
See: Why Hasn't My Advert Been Approved?

Guideline Compliance

  • If the advert did not follow the guidelines, it will be deleted.
  • Not all adverts are acceptable. See Guideline 5 for details.

Modified Adverts

  • If an advert has been changed after approval—for example, items swapped, new items added, or the advert no longer follows the guidelines—it will be removed.

Expired Adverts

  • Approved adverts older than 6 months automatically expire and are removed.

Sold or Unavailable Items

  • Adverts marked as SOLD or no longer available are removed to allow other adverts to move up the list.

Disputes or Investigations

  • Adverts involved in an ongoing dispute or investigation will be removed until the matter is resolved.

Breaking Rules or Causing Problems
Anyone found deliberately cheating the system, breaking rules, using multiple identities, acting or trading dishonestly, canvassing, ignoring guidelines, being abusive, or otherwise harming the good reputation of the NFED will have their adverts removed without notice and will be permanently barred from using our services.
This includes — but is not limited to — Ignoring site rules, dishonest advertising, disruptive behaviour, or any actions that cause problems for the site, its users, or the wider community.

Refunds will be entirely at the administrator’s discretion and may be subject to our standard Customer Technical Support & Service Charges.

Repeated Unpaid Adverts
If an advertiser repeatedly submits adverts that require payment but does not pay, those adverts will be removed immediately, without waiting the usual two‑day period. In the unlikely event that payment is later received, the advert will be replaced.

Discretion and Enforcement
CKArt-NFED reserves the right to determine which adverts or advertisers are in breach of our guidelines. If you're willing to cheat us or our users, we respectfully suggest you take your business elsewhere — this platform is built on trust, transparency, and community values.
