The NFED Social Media PagesThe NFED is a completely independent website, but it does have pages on Facebook & Twitter to promote sharing. We DO NOT allow posting directly on to our social media pages. All posts or ads must be submitted to the main site where they can be seen by anyone. Suitable featured ads, events or news are copied to the NFED Facebook & Twitter pages. A link will be provided for further information, photos & contact details. This provides a far safer environment by verifying information, record keeping & protecting the identity of the posters. Featured equestrian adverts, news, forthcoming events & the latest site updates are shared to Facebook & Twitter The posts will include the heading, link & main photograph. No personal or contact details will be shown. The identity of advertiser is protected as the post does not link to the advertiser’s personal profile. This allows people to safely use social media for advertising without giving strangers access to their personal profile & family photos. A link will be provided to the main advert or article for the viewer to see the full text, further information, photos or contact the advertiser. To contact the advertiser, please follow the link to the main advert or article & contact the advertiser privately. * Facebook Community Standards DO NOT allow the sale or exchange of animals between private individuals. When an advert is shared on Facebook, only the title will be shown. Due to Facebook Community Standards, cannot share animal adverts on Facebook that mention buying, offered, available, wanted, selling or include the price in the title. To protect our Facebook page, any adverts that are likely to be reported to Facebook, trigger AI moderator rejection or cause controversy will not be shared or will be removed if already shared, this includes adverts with ambiguous titles such as loan offered or wanted. If you would like the advert shared on Facebook, just include the animal details in the title. Sharing, tagging, liking or kind, respectful commenting is encouraged. We all know that opinions differ widely in the equine world, but we do have a duty to paying advertisers, therefore any abusive/insulting, unhelpful or unrelated comments will be hidden or removed. If a comment is hidden, it can still be seen by the person that posted the comment & their friends, but will remain hidden from everyone else. If buying, selling or price is discussed in the comments, the comment & post will be removed to protect the page. Failing to follow Facebook Community Standards may cause the page to be removed by Facebook. The post is a snap shot of the advert or article at the time it was posted. Modifying or deleting the main advert or item will not change the social media copy. If the link is not found, the advert or item is no longer active. If you would like an advert, post or comment removed, please contact us & we can remove it for you.
