I’m looking for a confident, competent and reliable rider to take on a full-time loan of my lovely cob, Ripple, who is approximately 14.2hh and 13 years old. The loan would initially be for around 4 months while I’m away travelling (starting in January) although this could potentially be extended for the right person.

Ripple is a loving, affectionate pony in need of someone who is willing to take the time to get to know him, understand him and give him plenty of love, care and attention while I’m away.

He hasn’t been in regular work recently due to my work commitments, so I’m looking for someone with the experience, confidence and patience to gradually bring him back into work and establish a consistent routine.

What I'm looking for:

A confident and competent rider with experience.
Someone able to commit to yard duties and care 7 days a week.
Ideally someone looking to ride around 3–4 days a week.
Someone patient and confident enough to bring him back into work gradually.
A reliable, caring person who will treat him as their own.

PLEASE NOTE: Ripple MUST remain at his current yard in Alderholt.

Some costs will need to be covered, including livery fees. However, I'm happy to discuss this and potentially split costs.

Finding the right person for Ripple is my priority. I want someone who will love and care for him as much as I do and make sure he is happy and well looked after while I'm away.
