We are looking for a sharer for Monty, a 16.1hh, 17 year old Irish horse for one or two days a week. Monty is currently in light work. He is forward going, loves to work and currently, needs more than his owner can currently give him. He is based at a friendly yard in Blandford and we would like him to stay here where his field mate, Oscar, is based.

Monty is well schooled, but not a novice ride. He therefore needs a calm, confident, experienced 18+ rider and handler. He is very sweet and doesn’t buck, rear or kick, but he can be cheeky and sometimes sharp.

He can be schooled once a week, but really loves hacking out and jumping and would like to have some fun. He can be ridden directly out onto the farm, but there are other, more adventurous rides if you want to eventually go further afield.

Rider insurance is required and help with feeding and chores on the days Monty is ridden. Days can be flexible.

If Monty sounds like the horse for you, please message me.
