Nettles is a 15-year old gelding, approximately 13.2hh. He is offered for permanent loan or sale if preferred.

Nettles is broken to be ridden but is not an easy pony. He has been turned away for the past 4 years, although we have ridden him a little recently. He is nappy and difficult to ride on grass although generally fine on the lanes. He is also very mouthy and will try to nip if he can.

Nettles is not a novice ride but may improve if re-schooled and given regular work. He is 100% in traffic.

Nettles lives out year round and is a good doer. He requires individual turnout although would probably run with a herd. He has never been sick or sorry and has been bare foot all his life.

Nettles is vaccinated and has had his teeth recently checked (all fine). He is good with the blacksmith.

Nettles is a character whom we have known all his life from a foal. He is a tricky pony who needs a knowledgeable home. His owner is no longer able to keep him and he is looking for a new role in life – we are open to what this might be.
