Winston - full up 16.2, 5 year old Irish gelding, no breeding recorded.
Winston is a super friendly, well mannered chap who is a load of fun to ride and easy to have around.
Backed and ridden away at the beginning of the year by a lady in Ireland who does all of her riding at the beach, so he’s done plenty of hacking, is good in open spaces is a nice forward thinking type.
He hacks alone or in company and has been good in the traffic we’ve met and with the farm machinery around the place here.
Works surprisingly well in the arena for a horse of his age and size! Lovely paces with a very comfortable canter and would look rather impressive between the white boards with some schooling.
Winston has been XC schooling and has a great pop on him, very brave, jumped everything first time no questions asked.
A really smart horse who will make his new people very happy. He’s a nicely forward going horse out hacking so wouldn’t be for a nervous or novice rider. Absolutely no badness/undesirable behaviour at all but he really struts along and loves getting out and about which a nervous/novice rider probably wouldn’t like. Slightly more leg on in arena while he learns what’s being asked of him.

Lovely chap to have around. Loves a good wither scratch and a groom, had his first little clip and was a bit unsure but very good.
