The sad time has come to offer our beautiful boy Rio for sale, as he has sadly been outgrown. Rio has been a huge part of our daughter’s life, and finding him the perfect next home is our absolute priority. ❤️

Rio is such a sweet, kind and forgiving pony who is always eager to please. He has so much to offer the right little jockey and has enjoyed a fantastic variety of experiences with us.
He has been out hacking, active in Pony Club, pony club camps, showjumping, hunting, beach rides, fun rides, mounted games and EGUK. He has attended Pony Club Championships, Bath & West, Zones and Areas, as well as multiple stay-away mounted games competitions. Rio has been such a fantastic pony for my daughter and has so much to offer his next little rider.
Rio would suit a child with some basic riding ability. He is not suitable for a complete novice, but for the right child, with the right support, he could be a very special partner to continue making memories with.
He is barefoot, is good to catch, travel, clip and is up to date with his vaccinations and dentist. He can sometimes take a bit of persuasion into the trailer when travelling alone but with a friend walks straight in.
Rio is a very good doer so does need some weight management but we manage this with regular exercise and clip him in the winter.
This is a heartbreaking decision for us as he is my daughter’s first pony and means the world to her! But with her already moving onto a bigger pony he deserves to have a new little person to continue going out and having fun with ♥️
