2 companion ponies for full loan. Can go separately or together!

Lily 14.3hh 15 year old Connemara. Lily has been retired for the last 6 years after injuring both hind suspensory ligaments. She is field sound and has spent the last few years in different loan homes as a ‘professional companion’. She can live in or out, and is fine being left alone if another horse is taken out to be ridden. Lily is a huge character on the yard and loves all the fuss and attention. She is a real people person. She is a proven broodmare, and had a gorgeous Connemara foal a couple of years ago. She was a fantastic mum and could be completely left to it. She would be an asset for anyone looking for a broodmare. Looking for a long term loan home for this special girl. I have had her for the last 10 years and she will never be sold. She means a great deal to me. To note, although lily has never had laminitis she does get fat just looking at green grass and does need her waistline watching.

Leo - 13 year old miniature spotted gelding. Leo is a massive character who makes us laugh every day. He also lives in or out and does respect electric fencing as long as it’s turned on! He does like to have company, although he has previously lived alone for a short period and coped fine. He thrives on love and attention. He would stand all day to be brushed and cuddled. I’m sure he would love to have a go at some in-hand showing. He loads like a dream (he would follow his favourite people anywhere). Good to be bathed, clipped, for farrier etc. Please note Leo is not broken and is not suitable as a ridden pony. Due to his size and breed, Leo does need restricted grazing and preferably someone experienced in keeping little ones.

Both ponies are available for long term loan either together or separately. They will both have their full wardrobes with them. This is a very sad decision and homes will be vetted.
