A lovely 7-year-old Welsh Section D mare with excellent breeding and a really exciting future ahead of her.

Poppy was very much a field ornament until this summer, when she was brought in and started her ridden education. She has taken to life under saddle exceptionally well and is proving to be a very sweet, willing and uncomplicated mare.

She has been backed this summer and is currently walking and trotting under saddle, already working nicely into a contact for such a green horse. She has started schooling and is progressing really nicely, has hacked out alone and has now been introduced to poles.

She is very good for the farrier, vet and loading, and is a genuinely lovely mare to have around. Although she is still very green in her education, she has shown a fantastic attitude to everything asked of her and is enjoying her new ridden life.

Beautifully bred, with a lovely traditional Welsh D stamp, she is an exciting prospect for someone wanting to bring on a quality young mare and produce her their way. With time, patience and continued education, she has the potential to be a really lovely riding horse and someone’s future best friend.
