School Farm Equestrian, Lockerley, Nr Romsey, Hampshire is looking to employ an additional member of staff from September.

We are a livery yard providing care for 40 horses, all applicants must be experienced enough to be able to provide care/ cover essential to the smooth running of yard.

* Must have previous experience with horses.
* Need to be confident leading large horses to and from field.
* Be competent putting on various boots and rugs.
* Able to muck out shavings beds, quickly and thoroughly.
* Happy to sweep, weed and generally tidy.
* Own form of transport essential. No buses or trains.

The job is for a 32 hour week (4 days) which will include either a Saturday or a Sunday. Every 6 weeks you will need to cover a whole weekend.

7.30 till 5.00 each day with 30 minutes for coffee and 60 minutes for lunch ( 8 hours a day)

After a month you will be added to our late check rota, this takes about 20 minutes and can be done anytime after 7.00pm and is just one night each week.

NMW paid weekly.

School Farm has been trading for over 35 years and we are proud of the care we give to all our clients and their horses. It is not the most exciting place to work but it is a very friendly relaxed yard and our clients, staff and horses are all very nice to be around.
