Rare Dark bay Caspian gelding for sale, turned 4 years in June. I home bred him and he has great breeding. Reza stands at 11.2hh and is a handsome and lively young man. He is a great companion as he is happy to be left on his own while his friend goes out and can be stabled or live out. He is currently living out 24/7 which he is happiest with.

Reza has done lots of inhand walking and been lead off my ridden horse, he enjoys going out and seeing the world and is a curious chap. He is sensitive and spooky so you have to earn his trust and then he is a loyal friend. Reza can be sharp so not suitable around young children. I have found training him and introducing him to new things very rewarding.

Barefoot, he is good with farrier (as long as they are calm), he is up to date with his vaccinations and had his teeth done for the first time a few months ago. Reza had had sarcoids which have been treated and he has made an excellent recovery.


I would love for him to go to an adult home where someone would love him and enjoy training him. I took him showing once last year (which blew his mind a little but he did very well!)

Caspians are a really interesting breed with a fascinating history and are currently on the critically endangered list. They believe that they pre-date Arabs and are similar to them in many ways. Very intelligent and curious and like forming a bond with their person.
