Benji is a much-loved little pony looking for his next best friend and a fun-filled home.

He has previously worked in a riding school, where he taught children to ride, giving him a lovely sensible foundation.

Benji is a bright, fun-loving little Dartmoor who loves having a job to do. He's happiest when he's out exploring, learning and keeping busy, and will thrive in a home where he can enjoy an active lifestyle.

He is good both on and off the lead rein and would suit a confident child who wants a fun, capable pony to enjoy. While he's sensible and genuine, he isn't a kick-along pony and wouldn't be the right match for a nervous or very timid rider. He has plenty to offer a child who enjoys riding and wants a pony to get out and about with.

He hacks happily alone or in company, is good to ride and lead with, has plenty of stamina and lovely movement. He also enjoys jumping and has all the makings of a fantastic Pony Club pony.

Instead of by no means the finished article, you could say something more like

Benji has a lovely foundation and low mileage. Having mainly hacked at home with a few Pony Club rallies, he’s now ready for his next adventure with a knowledgeable, horsey family who will continue his education, enjoy getting him out and about, and help him reach his full potential. We have no doubt he’ll flourish in the right home and, in return, you’ll have a fun, willing pony with heaps of character and potential.

He's only for sale because my children have sadly lost interest, and I simply don't have the time he deserves.
