For Sale – 2-Year-Old Part-Bred New Forest Pony
Lovely 2-year-old gelding, part-bred New Forest pony looking for an experienced, patient home. Will make approx 14hh.
I bought him from the sales with the intention of producing him and selling him on. Unfortunately, it's become clear that he needs far more time, love, and one-to-one attention than I'm able to give him.
He wears a headcollar and leads well but is very nervous around people. As I know very little about his background, I believe he needs someone who can spend the winter building his trust and confidence through kind, consistent handling.
He is not suitable for a novice or anyone wanting a pony that's ready to go. With time and patience, the aim would be for him to be ready to start backing next summer.
This is a genuine sale, and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale. He deserves someone who will give him the time he needs to become the pony I believe he can be.
