Looking for a sharer for my 14.1hh 17yo forward going Irish cob mare. She is a well mannered, sweet natured pony who hacks out regularly alone and in company and is good in traffic, incl big tractors, bin lorries etc. Does not rear, nap, buck (ok, maybe a tiny ‘whoopee’ on the stubble!), bolt or jog, she goes nicely off the leg and has a lovely soft mouth. However she can be fizzy and / or spooky at times so is best suited to a relaxed, experienced rider who is used to this kind of cob.

We are on 5-day livery at a very friendly yard in West Meon. There are miles of fantastic hacking on private farmland, tracks and quiet country lanes. Also a school on site for the occasional low level schooling session – but she’s definitely not a dressage diva, lol. She’s very bright and loves Trec training and pole clinics, and she’s a great partner to take on fun rides. I have my own trailer so outings may be an option.

I’m looking at a share for 1 or 2 days per week – ideally Saturday plus 1 weekday. Stable chores (Sat only) and contribution towards keep would be appreciated. Someone reliable, over 18, and max weight 11.5 stone please. Car driver and own rider’s insurance are also essential.
