Oscar is a beautifully bred, quality young New Forest gelding with an exceptional temperament and a very exciting future ahead of him.


Produced slowly and correctly, he has already enjoyed great success in the show ring, winning both Novice classes before taking Overall Ring Champion at his most recent show. He has also been successful in-hand and has always behaved impeccably at shows.


Despite his age, Oscar has an old head on young shoulders. He is kind, genuine and enjoys work, making him a pleasure to have around. My 4 year old son has plodded around on him. He is easy to catch, groom, tack up, load, travel and stands sensibly. He is happy living in or out and is straightforward to handle in everyway. Very good doer and has wintered out rugged with me.


Oscar hacks confidently in company and hacks alone well just a little green. He is good in traffic, and has recently started jumping small fences both at home and away from home. He is proving to be brave and willing, taking everything in his stride.


He schools nicely in all three paces and has established the basics well, but he is still a young pony and remains green, so would benefit from someone continuing his education. This is reflected in his price and gives his new owner the exciting opportunity to put their own stamp on a quality pony with all the foundations already in place.


He would make a fantastic WH pony, Pony Club pony, family all-rounder, showing pony, Riding Club pony or someone looking for a quality young pony to continue producing. His outstanding attitude and trainable nature are undoubtedly his greatest assets.
