I’m putting the feelers out for a part loaner/ sharer for my 2 lovely cobs due to work commitments and them needing more attention.

Mindy - 13.2hh - 8 years old - piebald

Mindy is a lovely little cob. She is amazing on the ground and can be handled by anyone. She will hack out alone and in company and has been lightly schooled. Mindy is a super fun ride. She has enjoyed doing a bit of everything, she’s taken part in a clean boot hunt and has enjoyed popping round some xc jumps. Mindy is voice trained and very responsive to the leg (not like a typical cob). I think Mindy would be most suitable for either a lead rein pony or off the lead rein for a more confident child/teen. Due to her build, Mindy needs a rider no heavier than 8.5 stone.

Major - 15hh - 4 years old - bay

Major is an incredible cob especially for his age. I have owned him since he was 2 and backed him myself. He has mainly done hacking, though has started to be introduced to basic schooling. Major will hack out in company in front or behind and will hack out alone, however he can sometimes be a little stubborn. He has done a couple of in-hand shows and participated in his first fun ride this year, all of which he behaved impeccably. Major is very good on the ground, he loves cuddles! He does however sometimes struggle lifting his feet up. Due to his age Major would be most suited to someone who is experienced and confident with handling younger horses.

Please message if you think you would like to give Mindy or Major some extra attention. I will be asking for a small financial contribution to go towards farrier and livery. Currently they are both on a livery yard in Wimborne. For the right person, I would consider full loan to move yard as long as it was within 30 mins of Wimborne.
