Lonely, retired 22 yo. TB gelding seeks a new fieldmate after his friend passed away. Suitable for a quiet mare/gelding, preferably retired and barefoot.
Approx 7 acres of grazing in 5 paddocks. Both natural and man made shelter in each, with automatic water troughs.Unfortunately not suitable for those needing restricted grazing (piglets!) as grazing is fairly lush! Post & rail fencing so no cribbers please!
Poo picking is done on a rota system to be agreed with the existing livery (who has been here 6 years so far!)
12x10 rubber mat stable included, mostly only used for sickness, vet visits, or farrier etc.
Secure tack/feed room with coffee/tea facilities in stable block, also rug racks to each stable and a five arm rack on the wall. There is also a heated tack room, loo, shower and more storage internally off the garage.
Easy 1/2 mile hack up a quiet gravel track, to the open Forest, and Hightown Common.
Routine maintenance of grazing, fencing etc. is all done by the owner who lives on site, and is an experienced horse owner so keeps an eye open to make sure all is well, and no horse attempting anything crazy!
