Description

Meet Piglet! The ultimate jack of all trades!

He's a full up 14.2 (more like 14.3/15h) traditional stamp class 1 Connie by lightening star. 10yrs old in June.

Super safe confidence giver 💕

He's done all pony club activities in his previous home. I've done a bit of everything with him but I'm not personally keen on jumping. He's a good chap and will trot round x poles or jump a course. He's not a world beater or the fastest and would be happiest up to 80cm I would say.

He's a chilled out laid back ride and you would need a good leg to get the best out of him in dressage or pop a pair of spurs on. He can do it all when he's motivated enough and I've had 70% on him before however mid 60's is more typical for us as a pair. He is extremely talented and very capable of going up the levels if he has the right rider on board.

Showing, he's good in the go round and stands nicely in the line up. I've only shown him a couple of times but with good results.

I've done some working equitation with him too and he took it all in his stride even though it was all new to him.

He hacks brilliantly alone , passes all traffic including bikes, buses, tractors, big lorries etc passes cows and sheep, leaf blowers building sites etc. I regularly take him on the cliff paths without any issues. He's very brave.

He's good in company and if you are wanting to canter out and about hes better with a bum to follow 😂 sometimes he will run on in trot when on his own as cantering is effort, at least you know he's not going to bolt anywhere! he will go if you are insistent enough and have the room to motivate him forward 😂

He doesn't rear nap or spin. The only thing he has done which could be seen as a negative is he can hump into canter if feeling particularly lazy. He will also pop a small buck if tapped too hard with the whip which I think is fair enough! be assured the bucks rarely occur, it's only happened a handful of times since I've owned him but has to be mentioned. For that reason I would say not a total novice ride.

He will also only give as much effort as you put in so to get the best out of him someone with a bit of experience is preferable. It does make him the perfect hacking with a hangover horse though 😂🍻

He doesn't kick or bite. Excellent to clip, hose, farrier, dentist, catch, mount, tack up, good with fencing. Lives in or out. Has a great personality and loves people. Loads well and travels fine but will stamp if feeling impatient. Tasty snacks on board keep this to a minimum! I've only travelled him in a 3.5t but he went in a trailer happily in his previous home no problem. He travels alone and in company.

Never sick or sorry and he has good feet. Shod in front only but has had all 4 shoes on. Passed 5 stage vetting when I brought him and has only seen the vet for routine stuff since. (Jabs and wolf teeth out).
