This is such a good idea if your saddle doesn't have enough (or any) D-rings or if you need extra straps for tying items to your saddle, such as your jacket or raincoat.
This pad fits between your numnah/saddle cloth and your saddle, giving you extra straps and D-rings. Please make sure that you fit it correctly, so that the buckles don't end up wedged under your saddle.
