Tilly is a 16hh thoroughbred ex racer. She is a lovely girl who to ride is pretty unflappable. She is ridden by an 8 year old sometimes. She has good bone but isn’t a weight carrier, rider would need to be 12 stone or under. She is available a minimum of 2 days a week up to 4, days to be discussed.

Tilly is only just 5, rider MUST be competent and confident due to this, she is very sensitive in the mouth and very responsive to her reins, she is not keen on schooling but this is something that will be worked on along side you, she is lovely to hack out but quite slow, she does have another gear but is equally happy to plod along. She is happy first or last but being so slow she suits being last better!

Tilly doesn’t do standing still, this is her only downfall, happy to discuss this in more detail and she needs work around doing up her bridle because she head tosses a lot, teeth being done soon to see if this helps.

I am an extremely easy going owner, I am not strict or expecting someone to school my horse for me, I am only looking for help because I have physical limitations aswell as time limitations and being so young she needs consistency which I cannot give her right now. All I ask is that you are gentle, I do not want anyone that is going to shout and scream at her, she’s a baby and she’s sensitive, she needs patience but firmness.
