Rocco is a homebred 5‑year‑old, 15.3hh Anglo European Warmblood x Thoroughbred gelding available for loan to someone with time to enjoy hacking, schooling and other activities. He would suit a yard with an arena and good hacking and could be a smart BSJA or BE project.
He was professionally and slowly backed last year locally and has since been at home in my small herd. He is back in light work but now needs consistent work to progress. He has become buddy sour with my mare, so a new home away from my current yard is essential.
Due to other young horses, work and a house extension, and as I will only sell to a truly 5* home, I am looking for a loan home, ideally local but open to the right person further afield.
Rocco is kind, characterful and loves fuss. He is currently stabled at night and turned out by day, but I am open to different routines for the right setup.
He is offered on a temporary loan, to be reviewed, where he can enjoy life. He has the potential to progress up the levels (his sire is a graded showjumper). The loan is conditional on full insurance, including veterinary cover, for the duration.
Rocco has a small sarcoid which I will aim to have lasered by my vet as soon as possible, but this does not affect him whatsoever.
Based in Bighton, near Alresford, Hampshire. I would like to visit occasionally at weekends.
