✨ Lovely all-rounder looking for a new partner to enjoy life with while mum takes a break! ✨

Due to absolutely no fault of his own, I’m looking to offer my lovely boy on full loan or possible part loan to the right person. I’m currently pregnant and don’t want to see him wasted in the field when he has so much to give.

He’s a genuine “been there, done it” type with a wonderful character to match. He loves having a job and is happiest when he’s being ridden and fussed over.

📍 Located in the New Forest on our family farm

For a full loan, the home must be within 2 hours of Christchurch as I would like to vet the new home and still be able to visit him occasionally.

He would suit a confident rider. He can have the occasional spook when ridden in unfamiliar situations, but his reaction is simply to stop and look at whatever he thinks is scary. With a calm, confident rider to reassure him, he goes straight past. For this reason, he wouldn’t suit a novice.

He is a lovely all-rounder who enjoys hacking, schooling and jumping, and is capable of so much with someone who wants to get out and have fun with him.

Management:
Happy to live in or out
Previously stabled at night on his own and was perfectly content
Currently living out 24/7 but still comes in occasionally
Currently in his own paddock and respects fencing
Can happily live with others, I just don’t currently have a suitable companion for him
Not bothered when other horses leave the yard

On the ground he is a dream — happy to stand for hours being pampered, clipped, shod, groomed etc.

Most of my riding with him has been solo hacking (my little bit of peace away from mum life!), but he’s also been out with others and behaves exactly the same — if anything, he’s even more relaxed. He’s happy to go first or last.

What matters most to me is that he goes somewhere he will be loved, enjoyed and kept doing what he enjoys.
