My beautiful Boysie is looking for a new home, please NO TIME WASTERS! This is an utterly heartbreaking decision due to lack of time and no desire to ride anymore, absolutely no fault of his own.
I’ve owned boysie for the last 5 years, please note he’s currently out of work due to the reason he’s being sold, however he’d happily be tacked up and ridden, Boysie is a good doer he will hack out alone or in company infront or behind not fussed at all, been to plenty of shows and will strutt his stuff for you while keeping you safe. He jumps a 1m course happily, his highest is 120cm at home, he’s a yard favourite. He’d be a perfect mother daughter share, he’s happy to slow it down a pace or pick it up when asked. He looks after his rider however I wouldn’t say he’s a novice ride to get his best potential he needs a confident quiet rider.
Back in summer of 2023 he unfortunately had a bad case of laminitis this cleared up and he’s not had a issue with it since, he does have a spot of arthritis in his hind however only effects him in the winter and loses up when in work happy to answer any questions regarding this.
Boysie is turned out alone now doesn’t get on well with other horses since his buddy was sold a few years ago however he’s happy to be friends over the fence.
