Max was mis-sold to me as a second pony for my 9 yr old, whilst he is a lovely pony on the ground and will be groomed and plaited all day long he is too much under saddle and has been seen to buck in the school, its for this reason he's not suitable for children- certainly lightweight ones.
He hacked out with my daughter and was well behaved, however we are keen to school and develop her riding and he doesn't appear keen to pursue this. Max has been schooled by adults and works well in a contact. Before i bought Max he was sold from the field so he is quite unfit.
