Barney is a wonderful, old-fashioned type cob with a heart of gold. He has experience as a therapy pony and has given lessons for the RDA, making him ideal for riders looking for a kind, steady companion.
He is safe, honest, and responsive to leg and voice aids, yet very steady and reliable. Barney happily hacks in all kinds of environments—he will go first or last in a group without a fuss. He enjoys popping over logs and has three nice paces in the arena, always cheerful and willing.
Barney turns out happily with a mixed herd and is just the easiest horse to have around. He would be perfect for a mother-daughter share.
