River is a 13 year old Appaloosa gelding who is 13.3/14 hands. He is not a novice ride and would not be good for nervous riders, but he is a really capable pony, who would be great as a 2nd pony and/or for someone at pony club. Would suit a confident teenager or small adult.
He is forward going, but does not buck, spin or rear.
He is a cuddly, affectionate pony and great with the dentist, farrier, physio, clipping etc. He is currently barefoot, but has previously been shod.
He has been working in a riding school for several years, but has only been suitable for more experienced riders, who have enjoyed riding him. Sad sale due to the closure of the riding school.
