A fantastic proven kids pony with an abundance of mane and feather, substance and quality but also with 3 free moving and floaty paces.
Minnie is a fantastic kids pony with a cracking future ahead of her. She could take to any job, pony club, family pony, you name it she’ll do it!
She is easy to do in all ways, good for the dentist, farrier, vet, load, trimmers (never needed to be clipped before just beard trims etc), can fidget to bath with cold water. She is always handled and ridden by a child who is 11 years old and also a 7yo. Her routine varies from living out, to sometimes staying in over night if needed to stay clean for a show etc so isn’t fussed on change. Has been out by herself or in a mixed herd and keeps herself to herself. Lives off hay, no hard feed and is barefoot.
Minnie was out of work since October last year, having previously done the od bits here and there, but had then just sat in a field. We have had her since mid July being solely brought back to work by the kids. She is always snaffle mouthed and is more kick than pull but if you’d like a bit of speed it is in there. She knows how to step up and down for her riders.
Minnie has been hacking alone and in company and ridden in open fields. Seeing cyclists, scooters, cars, trailers, trucks.
She’s had her first ever beach trip where she was abit shell shocked but behaved incredibly.
She been cross country schooling for the first time, despite being green in this area she really gave it all a go. Jumping ditches, logs, owl holes, table tops, through water etc. She’ll only get better the more she goes.
She’s been to school hire with lots of colourful show jumps again just giving it her all and not batting an eyelid at any. Just finding her jumping feet.
She isn’t nappy towards other ponies, and happy to go off and do her own thing or for the others to go off and do their own thing. She is the sweetest most genuine pony always looking to please however is still green to jump as she’s done minimal amounts of this but always tries her best matter the dodgy line or flappy hands 🙈and has a sweet little pop on her.
And to top it off she went to her first ever show, winning both her classes and taking reserve champion! 🏆
This little mare has more to learn but really has it all, the looks, the temperament and the ability to give a child the ultimate best friend. Looking for a home where she can be completely adored like she deserves and just go out and continue to enjoy herself.
