Looking for my first horse to love, learn with, and enjoy hacking adventures ideally something that will look after me as much as I will look after him.

🧡 Must-Haves:

Gelding

16hh-17hh

Aged 6–16 (open to older for the right horse)

Sensible, safe, and kind — not spooky or sharp

Hacking alone & in company

Good in open spaces, with traffic, dogs etc

Snaffle mouthed

Happy to live out part/full time

Open to vetting


🧡 Nice-to-Haves:

Experience with light schooling or dressage

Good with farrier, dentist, etc

Would love something who enjoys a fuss and bonding

I’m based near the New Forest and have secured a lovely, knowledgeable assisted part-livery setup with supportive horsey friends. I work from home, have lots of time to give, and this horse will be a huge part of my life, more than just a riding horse, but a true companion.
