Harley is an 8 year old gelding I have had since he was 4. He has shown heaps of potential and willing to learn.
He would excel in an all rounder home/ hunter type. He’s a talented allrounder with lovely paces and a super jump – previously competing locally in shows, showjumping and working hunter trials, often coming home with rosettes.

He has 3 beautiful paces on the flat and will go in a soft outline. He is bold and willing over fences (jumping up to 100cm), learns quickly, and thrives with routine and consistent work. When in regular work, he is a lovely ride – forward, affectionate, and responsive. He hacks alone but prefers company, and is good in traffic but can be a bit spooky when out solo.
He’s super cuddly and affectionate, very people oriented and will always come to be caught when called.

Harley is currently out of full work and will need bringing back in by a confident, experienced rider. He can be stubborn, spooky, or excitable when fresh, occasionally throwing a buck or small rear/ napping. He is not suitable for novices or under 18s.he will make a fantastic horse for someone willing to put in the work with him.

Good with the farrier and to clip. Can be fussy going in a horse box. Recently vet-checked, teeth done, wormed up to date. He’s barefoot behind, shod on the front, and has hardy feet.

This is a very sad sale due to lack of time and travel plans. A knowledgeable home is essential – he will thrive with someone consistent who won’t be pushed around.
