Busy Livery Yard is looking to appoint a full or possibly part time livery yard manager for a livery yard also providing holiday accommodation.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, BHS qualified and have equine experience able to confidently handle a range of horses, be physically fit and able to carry out all normal yard duties and suitably knowledgeable to assist livery clients in the care of their horses.

Job role includes all normal yard duties, maintenance of facilities, management of yard worming programme and yard records, liaising with suppliers, and providing assistance and advice to livery clients.

For the holiday cottages the role includes working as part of an existing team checking change over of holiday lets and providing ad hoc customer support on site.
Applicant will be commercially minded, able to manage the livery team, will be a practical and observant problem solver, ideally with some customer service experience, you must be confident to take sole charge of the yard, work under own initiative as well as with a team, have own transport and be able to manage time effectively.
