Freddie,16.1, 14 yrs old Thoroughbred gelding. Freddie is a very kind and gentle horse who is looking for a loving home. He has an amazing temperament, has no vices; doesn't kick, bite, buck or rear. He loves to hack and can hack with or without other horses, infront or behind. He schools very nicely and also produces a lovely dressage test. Freddie is amazing for the farrier and always loads straight away, very good to catch. He does however get sedated to be clipped due to him being twitchy. He is always ridden in a snaffle and is never strong or silly and is very safe and reliable. In Freddie’s early stages of life he raced however was brought out of racing due to being too slow. Freddie has previously competed in eventing more recently he has competed in dressage, and been schooling up to 90cm. We have recently had him treated for possible arthritis in his hind hocks, so far with positive results. We have made the sad decision to sell because my daughter wants to continue to progress with competing in show jumping at bigger heights and we feel this may be unfair for Freddie. He may be ready for a slightly quieter life as a happy hacker, dressage or ROR horse. He does have an amazing jump in him and loves cross country but we don’t want to push him. Where Freddie goes is very important as he is a very special. He will need the option to live in and out and with the company of other horses.
