Lola - approx 14.3, 8 year old Connie x cob mare. Really takes the leg well so easily takes an adult. Nicely put together with good paces.
Lola is a super sweet mare who has a lot to offer. She’s been in the same home from a 4 year old until earlier this year where unfortunately her owners circumstances changed and she was no longer able to have a horse so was sold back to her original owner who has had her in light work for the past couple of months.
In those 4 years she’s had a fun varied lifestyle and done lots of hacking (happily goes alone and in company and is good in traffic), beach rides, fun rides, arena hires, XC. Easy to take out and about and enjoys a party.
A really nicely forward going mare, not sharp and silly but not a kick along she’s a nice mix. Probably wouldn’t be for a beginner or total novice as she takes you forward and doesn’t need nagging along. Enjoys her work but doesn’t need to be ridden every day, she’s the same if ridden 5 days a week or once! Good to get on from the mounting block.
She has a super little jump although this isn’t something she’s done much of lately so is a little rusty, enjoys a bit of polework. Happily works in arena but wouldn’t know much about working ‘properly’ as she’s never been asked too. Having said that she has the basics with lovely transitions and tries very hard to please. Her owner would really prefer her to go to a home that does a bit of everything and not be in the school 5 times a week as she has enjoyed doing lots of different things.
Lovely allrounder type, ‘mother/daughter’ share/hack/fun ride type.
A kind mare who is very easy to have around with a chilled nature, good to load/shoe etc.
