Looking for a lovely home for my New Forest Pony Eclipse. He’s 14.1hh, 7 years old with a green passport. PSSM 1 negative.
Eclipse is very friendly and always the first to come and say hello in the field. He’s well handled, good to catch, groom and to stand for the farrier (currently barefoot) . Good to load and travel alone.
He’s up to date with his vaccinations (due end of May) and just had his teeth done by Equine Dental Clinic.
Eclipse is currently un ridden as I feel I am too big for him but was ridden briefly at the end of last year. Under saddle he can be unsure as he lacks confidence so will need a kind, competent person to bring him back into ridden work and reach his full potential.
Currently Eclipse isn’t happy left alone but he was fine last summer when there was more grass.
Based in the New Forest so he is used to crab flies.
Offers around £2,500 but home is more important than price.
