12.1 Dartmoor gelding
3 year old, 12.1 dartmoor gelding.
Started backing at the beginning of March when he just turned 3, rides in all 3 paces however struggles picking up canter on the right rein. This is something we’ve been working on over the past few weeks.

He wouldn’t suit a first ridden due to his age, however would suit a lead rein or someone looking to produce him further. He’s never spooky, silly, sharp and not once has he reared, bucked, bolted etc.


River is the sweetest gelding with amazing temperament. He Has been handled by our children since he was a yearling, would stand for hours to be groomed and lives for the fuss. He was produced by my 12 year old daughter and has been the easiest pony to produce.

He’s excellent with the farrier, vets, loading, traveling etc. we’ve never clipped him however he has been shown them and wasn’t fased in the slightest. Very sadly outgrown and we would like a 5* loan home for this amazing pony, based within an hour of Fareham
