Best home imaginable seeks a pure bred (green passport) New Forest youngster/pony to buy. Happy to also consider Forest bred pony which has run on the Forest even if not on a green passport.

Any age from yearling upwards as long as fully weaned, halter broken and quiet to lead. Ideally currently based in the New Forest area so it isn’t phased by crab flies!

No competition/show ponies please, nor riding ponies per se, as this pony is primarily sought as a family pony and companion to my now semi-retired New Forest mare who would like a gentle new friend to keep her company.

Kind, sensible, laid back temperament the single most important criteria as the pony will also be handled and fussed over by children occasionally (with adult supervision) so must be kind, gentle and trustworthy.

Knowledgeable loving home in the New Forest with private stables and grazing and over 30 years experience of owning and breeding New Forest ponies awaits the right pony. This is genuinely a home for life where the pony will be a treasured part of the family and want for nothing – very happy for the current owner to still visit and keep in touch.
