This horsebox is definitely not a beauty queen but she is the most structurally and mechanically sound vehicle you will find at this price.

Since buying in 2021 I've had numerous improvements done to make the box safer and more durable:

Structure:

- Reinforced steel bulkhead. However hard you brake, the horse will not be joining you in the front seat.

- New ply and rubber matting throughout horse area (floor underneath is metal)

- New ramp with gas struts - easy to open and close on your own.


Mechanical:

- New battery and glow plugs (now starts first time even in freezing weather)

- New rear brake pads

For sale is my 1992 Leyland Daf 45 non turbo 7.5 ton horse box. 6.7 metres long 3.2 metres high 8ft wide.
Plated/Mot'd TiL March 25. Room for 2 horses and tack with 2 external lockers. Very light ramp yet robust ramp meaning opening and closing can be done by 1 person. The living area is dry mould and damp free and comes with a double mattress, there is also a fridge and sink with water pump plus a night heater that needs finishing off installing.
Overall for its age the lorry is mechanically in very good condition just cosmetically needs a tidy up. Always starts and never let me down, only selling as don't use it enough so will go back to having a trailer for local events.

Very sad sale of my wonderful, tiny 7.5t horsebox.

Leonard is only approx 6m total length and I’m only 5’ and can operate the ramp on my own.
Stalled for 3 ponies or 2 large horses he happily goes well with my 15.3TB and 16.1 maxi cob on board.
Completely refurbished by Kelly horseboxes just before covid. To include, new aluminium floor, new sides, respray, new rubber floor and walls and lighting.
