Rare Caspian horse- Looking for a loving loan home or possible sale.

I’m looking for a very special home for my lovely 3rd old Caspian gelding. Standing at 11.2hh, he’s full of personality, charm, and potential. Caspians are a rare and ancient breed, and this little chap is a brilliant example of everything that makes them so special.

About Him:
•Exceptionally friendly – loves people and is easy to catch
•Good with the farrier
•Well-handled from a young age, regularly taken for in-hand walk, happy to be tied upon yard
•Has been led out from my horse and seen plenty – great in traffic!

He’s a bright, willing horse but you do need to earn his trust. Reza can be sharp so is therefore not suitable around young children so would like him to go to an adult home. He’s been brought on carefully and with love, and finding the right home for him is extremely important to me. He is a little nervous of loading in a trailer but will go in with patience. Reza is nervous of having his vaccinations done so needs a little more training with this.

About the Caspian Breed:

We have owned Splash for 5 years, where he has been a ridden by a variety of riders in our Riding school and Pony Club centre, which sadly closed last October.
Splash has done all pony club activities including, lessons, hacking, mounted games, jumping x pole courses and fancy dress.
Like many welsh ponies, Splash doesnt have a a very good canter and tiny inexperienced children struggle to keep him balanced in canter. Splash prefers to live out with company, He is completely non spooky and doesnt ever hot up or get sharp and works happily on his own in the arena/out on hack.

For sale, an older Thorowgood saddle 17" in black.
I don't know if this is a T6 or a T8 but it's part synthetic and part leather.
It is fully adjustable and fits a wide variety of medium withered horses, I have personally used it on a Standardbred and a Connie.
Currently fitted with a red gullet and will come with 3 more options.
This is a very comfy saddle, perfectly good for every day use or for backing youngsters, it is showing signs of wear and is missing one buckle guard but has been regularly checked ( 6 monthly ) by my saddle fitter and is in good working condition.
Only selling as I no longer have a horse and it doesn't fit my daughters cob!

I am looking for someone to share/loan my 21 year old New Forest Pony gelding who lives in Sway. He is a lovely, fairly forward going, sensible hack. Not much worries him. He’s fine with the Forest ponies, donkeys, cows and pigs and he is good in traffic. He does occasionally put in a high spirited buck, so he does need an experienced rider with a secure seat. He has a lovely temperament and is easy to handle.

I am looking for someone who is kind, considerate and reliable to come and ride quietly a few times a week. I'm very happy for you to help look after my pony if you would like to. A financial contribution will be appreciated, depending on how many times you ride and whether you are able to assist with a few chores. My pony is stabled at night.

You must be an experienced adult rider who weighs no more than 10 ½ stone and is preferably no more than 5’ 6” in height. You need to have your own rider insurance please.

Our yard has a school which can be hired for a small fee. I would prefer my pony to be hacked out more than schooled, but if you want to have the occasional lesson that's fine. The Forest is literally a few minutes up the road and there are people to hack out with, or my pony is fine going out on his own.

126cm beautiful registered Welsh section B mare, 4 years. I have owned this pony since a yearling, being shown in hand successfully including stay away shows and evening performances. She has taken everything in her stride. An easy pony to have around, good to catch, box (will go on and off the box all day long at shows), good with farrier, currently unshod due to no regular rider but would require fronts when in work. Backed and hacking out proving to be bold and brave, she’s not a spooky pony, passes all traffic including massive HGV’s, goes out in company or alone, hacked in open fields and doesn’t hot up. She hasn’t been schooled so is green and will require riding on to make a fantastic first ridden pony, would equally make a fabulous allrounder. No known health issues, bad habits or faults. Only for sale as I have no small rider and need the space as we have found a bigger pony and need the stable. A real bargain £2700 Ono as I need the room.
