I am a mature rider looking for a gelding 14 hh to 15 hh pony / horse to enjoy a super life hacking across the forest, having fun in the school: poles, small jumps, equitation. I don’t want to do endless circles but would love to be able to walk trot and canter in the arena , have lessons and go to clinics.
I am a competent rider but have had some knocks, which has left me a little nervous. I really want to build my confidence again, I know it’s bubbling inside me but it needs bringing out with an equine who equally wants to have some steady fun.
I don’t like stabling ponies, I like them to feel free and cared for in a kind environment.

due to a change in circumstances I have come to the decision to sell Lou/lulu, it is very very hard decision so no time waster’s please. Lou is a 15.3hh ottb bay mare she is 14 years old and at the moment is a happy hacker! she has potential to do some low level schooling however she has just enjoyed being out hacking the past 2 years with me she is the safest horse to go out on and is more woah then go but like any tb she does have her days were she occasionally needs a bit of extra confidence but has never put a foot wrong, she has 3 lovely paces and you always have breaks out in open spaces you can walk her on the buckle and she is absolutely fine. She is good to shoe, load, clip, good with dogs, loud machinery, hacks alone, hacks in company & loves a pamper! Immybrook Burning Ambition or Polly for short is a 11.2hh rising 5 yr old Registered welsh section A mare. Originally brought for my daughter as a lead rein pony which she has been great for, my daughter has sadly lost interest in Polly who is now bored and looking for a new jockey to take her on.
She has been picked up and put down so many times and is the same pony each time we do something with her, she’s not reared or bucked but does like to get on with her job so is forward.
She will hack out alone or in company and has been out round the roads off the lead rein with small adult and was absolutely fine.
She’s seen all farm machinery and livestock including lots of pigs. She’s hacked out on open forest and goes through water, jumps logs and ditches. Due to not having much done with her in the sense of regular work I would say she is still green so wouldn’t be a first pony just yet but certainly wouldn’t take much time to get her there. She’s good to catch, box, trim feet and clip. Lived with mares, geldings and foals.
Lots of videos and photos on request of her being handled and ridden by my daughter.

Polly is now ready to take on her next adventure whether that be showing, pc or even Driving.

Broadlands RDA Centre is seeking a reliable and experienced person aged 18+ to join our team for weekend afternoon yard duties, working 3 hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The role may be split between two people if required, one Saturday and another Sunday.

We are a welcoming RDA centre with 12 kind, polite horses, offering a supportive and rewarding working environment.

Duties include:

Evening turnout

Mucking out

Feeding down

General yard duties

This is a sole charge position, so applicants must be confident working independently. Due to our rural location in Medstead, Hampshire, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have their own transport.

There is scope for additional ad-hoc hours, and potential riding opportunities for the right person.

Meet Erol, an exciting and genuinely kind dressage prospect

Erol is a beautifully bred 8-year-old gelding by the sought-after Party Trick, now ready to find his perfect dressage home.

He is without doubt the friendliest horse on the yard - incredibly affectionate, loves attention and cuddles, and is a pleasure to handle in every way. I have owned Erol since he was two years old, and he has been slowly, sympathetically and correctly produced with his long-term future always in mind.

Erol has three lovely, balanced paces and moves beautifully. He has recently started his British Dressage career and has been placed every time out at BD Prelim. He qualified for both Area Festivals and Regionals, and recently went to Area Festivals where he scored 67.46%, finishing 12th in a very competitive class.

Erol is proving himself to be a very exciting prospect for the dressage arena. His British Dressage career has only just begun, yet he has already shown that he is well suited to the discipline.

Although Erol has done some jumping, it has become clear that dressage is where he feels most comfortable and confident, and where his strengths truly lie. With continued, correct education, he has all the ingredients to progress happily up the levels.

Assisted grazing livery available for 1 pony in Three Legged Cross. No frills for the human but a beautiful large field for the horse to share with 2 others. Would suit a good doer, ideally under 14.2hh and a mare (gelding considered but must show no interest in mares as mine is very seasonal). Must be respectful of electric fencing.

Natural shelter, low sugar grazing, lots of foraging trees and plants - very natural, peaceful environment. Good hacking, straight on to bridlepaths or a lovely retirement place. Needs to be ok with being left if the other 2 go out as they are coming into work - there are always horses next door.

Included - Daily feeding/checking (feed/supplements not included), rug changes, fly spray/cream, poo picking/harrowing, worming programme (worm count based) Administering/application of medications by separate negotiation.

Not included - vet/farrier/dentist/bodywork visits, feed/supplements. Cost of hay will be billed separately and adjusted according to consumption and price - we feed ad lib netted hay through winter (ave 1.5 round bales per month per horse), summer hay feeding as needed (plans to track the field in the summer).

The no frills part - 1/2 mile gravel track to get to the field (easily drivable but not for the pristine car owner!), Limited storage - no room for tack, no electric, considerate parking needed as limited space with a short walk to the field (50m), parts of the perimeter fencing is in need of repair, hence needs to be good with electric fencing.

I am a lightweight adult rider and have ridden since childhood, having owned and competed horses for most of my life. Due to a very time-consuming career, I’m no longer able to own a horse, but I’m keen to build a genuine partnership while offering consistent, correct training and care.

I have competed up to 1.10m in the past, and have extensive experience producing and bringing on young, green horses. I have a strong understanding of correct basics (seat, balance, rhythm etc.) and take a patient, sympathetic approach focused on confidence and long-term development.

What I can offer:

•Flatwork to improve balance, rhythm and fitness
•Showjumping and low-level competition experience
