Tentatively putting feelers out to see if there is a suitable and loving home for our beautiful boy now that our daughter has gone to university; he has been the perfect mother/daughter share. He is a striking 16’1 chestnut TB gelding rising 10 years who came to us out of racing sound three years ago and therefore qualifies for RoR. He is a lovely mover with three good paces who has done a bit of everything although they have mainly focussed on their dressage. Forward going, he enjoys his work, likes to step out on a hack either alone or in company and to go for adventures. He will give a drain grate a hard sideways stare but nothing spooks him and he does not nap. He is steady, sensible, including in traffic, and does well leading out those more anxious than him. He is lovely looking with great presence and gets lots of compliments. His kind brown eyes match what sits inside him. We had the ‘kissing spines’ op done which has transformed his way of going; the rehabilitation was done steadily, carefully and led by physio and vets. Because it has all been done properly it has been a great investment for his long-term health, fitness and comfort. Scoped for gastric ulcers and no issues found. In short, all the post-racing hard yards have been done to ensure he is strong, healthy and able to enjoy life and his work.Always snaffle-mouthed, good to shoe, clip and trailer load. He was bar-fired during his racing career and had his wind done. Thanks to his colouring and his freckled white socks he cannot live in mud. His current routine sees him with stabling and daily turnout on well-drained paddocks.Three years of vet, physio and dental history available. Prospective new homes would need to be checked for suitability.£3,500 - includes 17” Thorowgood compact saddle (fitted by the fabulous Fran of Sarum Saddlery to suit his close-coupled build) and Micklem bridle.https://share.icloud.com/photos/0c7JKgHBxjEo0qYapvO9lmCVA

It’s with a very heavy heart that we look for Ruby’s new 🏡. Ruby is currently ridden by children of all ages and abilities (owned by 11 year old) and all off lead. However, we feel Ruby would be best suited as a lead rein or 1.5/2nd pony to reach her full potential. Ruby is one in a million. Happy to be dressed up, painted, plaited and will stand there all day long to be pampered, she is a regular at pony club rallies and attended pony club camp this year. She has been to arena hires, XC, the gallops and competed in local shows proving to do very well in the dressage arena. Ruby is well schooled and has started her lateral work with a competent jockey but she is still young and so would need to continue her education. She hacks out alone and in company. Not fazed by any traffic/farm machinery, she is confident out on the open forest with ponies, cows deer and pigs roaming around. She absolutely loves a good gallop across the forest if you ask. But will adjust to rider, so if you want a steady walk and trot she is just as happy.Ruby is one of the most versatile little cobs out there.. with her eye catching looks and powerful compact short backed conformation she is a serious show ring pony ⭐ and would suit a showing/ dressage home if you really want results. She is happy to pop a small course and really loves a jump out on the forest!🌳 Ruby’s negative areas:*After coming to us with bad mallenders, which is all cleared up with no further flare ups, she is sensitive around her legs and needs an understanding farrier (she is unshod). However she is good as gold to have her feet picked out daily and washed for shows. *If ridden in the school by a complete beginner she will be lazy and yet will be forward off the leg for a confident jockey. *she is young and does have the odd small excited bronks. They are never nasty and haven’t unseated anyone. *Ruby travels like a dream in a trailer or 7.5t but didn’t enjoy travelling backwards in a 3.5t the once we tried, however as she is so chill normally we expect it to get better with practice.Only a loving, capable home for this young wonder pony 💖🐴💖WhatsApp me for videos (we have lots!) and to discuss viewings.
‘Camalsa Golden Girl’ aka Doris14.1hh Registered Section C. 10 years oldDoris is a very sweet mare and is proving to be a good all rounder. She enjoyed her first ’clean boot’ hunt this month and loved it! She did well at our local XC course in the summer, though jumping isn’t something we’ve done much of due to lack of facilities. She’s a very willing pony, who always does her best to please her rider. Doris has previously done well in the show ring and loves being brushed and pampered!Doris would be suitable for a novice as she is gentle and is a safe ride. She recently spent 3 weeks at an SEN riding school and settled into that environment really well, becoming a much loved pony for the children.Doris is good with the farrier and currently has front shoes on, but has previously been barefoot. Doris loads and travels perfectly. She is up to date with teeth and vaccinations.Doris hacks out perfectly in company, but isn’t keen on her own.She loves schooling and has 3 lovely paces. We are looking for a really good home for Doris, where she can build a bond with someone and enjoy some adventures together. She’s a really special pony who will make someone very happy. Her rider needs to be no heavier than 9.5 stone (due to the rider weight limit)We’re asking for £7,500, to include full wardrobe.

River is a 13 year old Appaloosa gelding who is 13.3/14 hands. He is not a novice ride and would not be good for nervous riders, but he is a really capable pony, who would be great as a 2nd pony and/or for someone at pony club. Would suit a confident teenager or small adult. He is forward going, but does not buck, spin or rear. He is a cuddly, affectionate pony and great with the dentist, farrier, physio, clipping etc. He is currently barefoot, but has previously been shod. He has been working in a riding school for several years, but has only been suitable for more experienced riders, who have enjoyed riding him. Sad sale due to the closure of the riding school.£4,500 No novices or nervous riders please.Video link: https://youtu.be/pjMhqwv0vSs
I am looking for a very small companion for my 28” , old gelding. Ideally on loan as I don’t want to be in the same position again if he passes. However I am open to options. No laminitis or health issues that require regular medication or vets. My lad is 29 but as long as they are very quiet and small I will consider any age. I have four other ponies but he can’t keep up with them - must be happy to be stabled when needed. I have my own yard and fields at home where they live out with shelters. BH25 area.

Fremnells Costello Rising 5yro Welsh section C gelding standing approx 13.2. A well educated fun loving little pony looking for his best friend for life. Prince came to me unbacked and has been an absolute delight start to finish, I know his full history from breeders and he has only ever known a loving home and a good education. On the flat he is forward off the leg, very straight and correct in his movement, very much a leg in each corner with a comfortable trot and a huge elevated canter. He would do very well in both the dressage boards and the show ring with his floaty canter and straight movement. He’s schooling around a course of fences proving to really enjoy jumping, with an exceptionally easy attitude, totally unphased by all fillers and will go off any stride. Since doing more in recent weeks he has really found his feet and is starting to look really quite clever over a fence, currently schooling around 80cm with plenty in the tank to be a competitive BS pony. He would also hold his own in the WHP classes as he is brave with all types of fences and smart enough. He has jumped a selection of fences out hacking through the forest, always very willing. Out hacking I can’t fault Prince, he is practically bombproof, he’s fantastic in all traffic, with farm machinery & livestock and in open spaces. He’s happy to hack on his own, ride and leads my daughter on her Shetland and has also hacked with my novice mum always looking after whoever is on board. He’s been on 2 hound exercises with big fields and has been totally polite throughout, staying at the back while the field canters off ahead, pops the fences laid out and waits patiently when asked. On the ground this pony has a huge loving personality, totally typical of his Welsh breeding. He loves attention and is very easy in all respects. He is barefoot with fantastic feet, stands to be groomed by my 3yro daughter, loads & travels well, good to clip & bath, never a problem stabled or in the field. He is absolutely adored by everyone on the yard and will be very sorely missed, he is always the first one to be picked for fun rides and outings by anyone visiting the yard and always looks after them safely. He has been ridden by a friends 12yro daughter & my young daughter bareback on the lead rein. He really is the best friend type, the type of pony you can play with and pamper all day and ride for hours. He is always ready for an adventure and is looking for someone to do it all with. He is smart enough for BS classes & WHP, he is uncomplicated enough for a younger rider and he is kind enough to be a family all rounder, from PC camps & rallies to the family favourite, there is nothing this pony won’t turn his hoof to and he will only go to the very best of homes where he can enjoy a variety. Videos available on request. Open to vetting & viewings. 5* home only for this beautiful pony. £4750 Ono.
4⛵️ - Dilton Disco (Artie) NF X WB This has been a truly difficult decision, as Artie was purchased to be my daughters next horse. However, it’s become clear that he is unlikely to make the 15hh+ he was originally expected to reach, he is currently standing at 13’2.Artie is a New forest X warm blood and has just turned three, he has been an absolute dream in every way. He’s been my daughter’s pride and joy for the past two years, and a great deal of time and care has gone into his education. He happily comes into the barn and ties up on his own, picks up all four feet, and is good with the farrier. This yeah she has been desensitising him to clippers — he stands like a rock and doesn’t move. He’s also been bathed and can be hosed down.Since he was young, she has led Artie out in all kinds of traffic — he’s seen trailers, caravans, lorries, and more, and he just walks past without fuss. Of course, he still has the occasional baby moment, but he’s even helped babysit my friend’s youngsters while out and about in hand.Artie is one of the bravest horses I’ve ever known. He’s done plenty of long reining and will confidently take the lead, he isn’t spooky. He’s been out long reining around the New Forest and on roads and thoroughly enjoys the work. He’s also done a little lunging — just enough for him to understand the basics, as she haven’t pushed him due to his age. He’s worn both a saddle and a bridle without issue and has attended a few in-hand shows where he kept his cool and been well behaved.Artie loads and travels in a trailer with no problems whatsoever. He’s a truly special little pony, and this decision is only being made because of his height. A 5* home is an absolute must.Artie adores people and thrives on praise. He loves a scratch and a cuddle, and once he knows he’s done something right, he won’t hesitate next time. He’ll make an incredible pony for someone — if he’d grown just a little more, he’d never be leaving us.£2,500
Ce-Ce is a 6yr old bay mare approximately 13hh.We’ve owned her for the past few years and she has bred us a couple of cracking foals. But we feel she is wasted as a broodmare and being the age she is would benefit from now moving on to more exciting things! She loves jumping , practically loose schooling herself. She has currently been lunged and long reined with tack on and I’ve lent over and sat on her.All with no problems at all but I feel I’m too big to go any further and she would be an ideal winter project for someone to get her ready for the spring shows. Obviously with this in mind she will need an experienced home to carry on her education. She’s happy to live in or out, good to handle, with the farrier and to load etc. I have plenty more videos and photos.£2800 Ono Happy to pick up from the boat for viewings.

Colby Prince Charming 13yro bay British Riding Pony standing approx 12.3/13h.A true 2nd pony and competition pony through and through, fit and ready for his new home. Prince has previously been a pure show home and has shown both in hand and under saddle up to county level as a SHP, he has a real presence about himself and knows how to flick his toes and catch your attention. He has 3 nice forward paces and a very big eye catching trot! He came to me for my 2 young daughters and although he is angelic with them in every way, he is totally wasted on the lead rein and has proved to be an outstanding competition prospect, loving the busy and active lifestyle. So since being with me he has done a bit of everything, he is low mileage over a jump due to his previous home but he has been jumping at home and at different venues and proves to be ultra careful, we’ve schooled him up to about 80cm but there is definitely a huge amount of scope left in the tank for a competent rider, he would certainly jump the BS starter classes if not much more. He just needs a bit more time and mileage on the clock seeing different venues to build his confidence, that being said he is totally genuine and uncomplicated. He also jumps all types of rustic fences when out hacking and has XC schooled as a youngster, coupled with his showing experience he would go all the way as a WHP. We have hacked a lot and he loves to explore, he’ll hack for hours across the downs and through the forest cantering in open spaces without ever getting strong or silly, jumping everything we can find, he’s always keen to look for an adventure. He is fantastic in all traffic and with farm machinery, he can be weary of livestock but I have never found him to become silly or sharp, just unsure. He has also hacked a lot leading my young daughter and her Shetland, so very trustworthy in that respect. He has absolutely no ridden vices, never bucked, reared or bolted. He is a forward going buzzy and active type and won’t be for a slow and steady rider, however he is always snaffle mouthed and never sharp, he can be ridden once a month or every day and he is always well behaved. On the ground his manners are impeccable, he once again has no vices, can be lead and groomed etc by my daughter. He loads & travels quietly, good to clip, good for the farrier (currently barefoot, may benefit from front shoes with more work), no trouble in the field or in the stable, just a total delight to be around in all respects. This is a hard sale as we all love him, however he absolutely loves to be out doing things and with a yard full of clients horses and 2 young children he gets less work than he’d like to be doing. All we want for him is a best friend of his own to enjoy all things fun and be pampered. He is good enough to jump the BS classes or HOYS WHP classes but he would equally thrive in a family home for PC camp, rallies, low level competitions, hacking & everything fun. He loves to live the pampered life with a mic warm rug and a stable during the night for the cold winter as he is very much a Prince by name and nature. Videos available on request. Open to vetting & viewings. 5* home only for this perfect boy. £5250 Ono.
