Around 9 years old, 13hh cob gelding.

A much-loved pony looking for a knowledgeable home where he can continue to have fun and enjoy an active life. He has been an invaluable part of our Alternative Provision, helping young people build confidence through riding, grooming and spending time with horses.

He is not a first pony and would be best suited as a second pony for a confident child or small rider. He can be strong at times and will occasionally throw in a cheeky buck, so needs a rider who won’t be fazed by this and can ride positively.

He has enjoyed a varied life and has previously hunted, attended beach rides, forest rides and was shown successfully in his previous home. He loves getting out and about and enjoys having a job to do.

Good to catch, groom and handle. A real character with plenty of personality who thrives with regular work and attention.

This is a very sad sale, so finding the right home is essential. He has so much to offer and deserves a family who will love him as much as we do.

Horse share wanted – 2 days a week

Looking for a horse/pony share for my 14-year-old daughter 5ft 2 and 7 stone 3 lb ,ideally 2 days a week.

She has had a loan pony for several years but has unfortunately outgrown them. She works at a local stables at weekends and during half terms, so is used to yard duties and caring for horses.

She can confidently walk, trot, canter and jump up to 60cm. She is reliable, kind and happy to help with stable/yard jobs. We are happy to travel up to 30 minutes.

Alan is a beautiful 4-year-old registered blue dun Miniature Shetland gelding. He was gelded earlier this year and has settled well into life as a gelding.

Hi, I am in my 40s, looking for a horse to share. I am sensible and reliable. I have ridden since a child. I have had various horse shares over the past 18 years. The last one was for 6 years- unfortunately he passed away. I have had my own pony as a teenager.
I am looking for a calm, sensible horse or pony from 14- 15.2 hands. Although I am flexible about this! ( I am only 5'2 so do prefer smaller horses) I like schooling and hacking. I have done jumping in the past- but don't really like doing this now. I have done dressage up to prelim/Novice level in the past. I have regular lessons. I love spending time with horses- grooming etc. I am happy to do stable chores etc I am looking for a horse share 2- 3 days a week.
I am not able to do set days due to doing shift work.
I am looking for a horse/pony within 20 minutes drive of Bishopstoke.

My beautiful and well kept Ifor Williams is now for sale as I’ve stopped riding and no longer need it. It was serviced in June this year, had a proper clean and is ready to go.

Fabulous opportunity to purchase Marl Mostyn (stable name: Merlin) a much loved and exceptionally talented 15hh, 14-year-old, black, Welsh Cob gelding.

In his long-term partnership with his former rider he competed at BE80 and BE90, placing 7th with a 29.5dressage on his last outing.

Her attentions then switched to dressage where he regularly scored 67%+ at Novice and Elementary level BD.

He was then sold to a lady in her 60s to rekindle the riding of her past, but tragically it has transpired that her own spinal issues mean his talents are being wasted and the sad decision to sell, is in his best interests.

Exquisitely schooled on the ground and under saddle this stunning gelding is sensitive, light and obedient on the flat and has powerful paces and a scopey, exhuberant, careful and bold jump.

He is proven and yet has untapped potential and so we will assess all applicants carefully to ensure he has the best future going forward and are seeking a talented teen or competent competition rider who would like to take him further. He was bought for my daughter when she had just turned 13 and was sold to us as a teenager/Pony Club horse. Sadly, despite our best intentions, he has proved to be too much horse for a novice rider and we feel he deserves a home where he can thrive and reach his full potential.

About Silver

* Handsome 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding.
* Excellent breeding with Sea Crest and Cruising bloodlines.
* Previously jumped up to 1m and has gained SJI points.

Temperament

Silver is not a novice ride and requires an experienced, confident adult rider. He can occasionally throw in a buck and is known to be nappy. He hacks beautifully in company but can be sharp and very alert when out alone.

Handling

* Good to catch and shoe.
* Loads into both a trailer and horsebox, although he appreciates a confident handler.
* We have been told he is good to clip, but we have not clipped him ourselves.

Silver would suit an experienced rider looking for a fun horse to enjoy, whether that’s jumping, hunting or general riding. Unfortunately, he and my daughter are simply not the right match.

This is an incredibly difficult decision as Silver is a very much-loved family member, and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.

She is happy hacking both alone and in company and is very well accustomed to the open forest. Jessica is a forward-going but always ridden in a snaffle and never strong. She is equally kind and sensible, happily taking a nervous rider out on the lead rein.
Jessica has attended arena hires and boasts a very successful showing record, consistently placing in the top three. She is currently being professionally schooled, showing great promise and improving all the time.
