It is with a very heavy heart that we offer Beauty for sale. She has been a much-loved member of our family for the past 3 years, but sadly she is being wasted with us and deserves a little rider to enjoy everything she has to offer.
Last summer, Beauty spent the season being ridden by our 5-year-old niece on the lead rein, which gave her so much confidence. Together they enjoyed beach rides, shows, and plenty of fun outings, often coming home with rosettes and winning their classes.
Beauty is the ultimate all-rounder. She has previously done cross-country, beach rides, showing, and jumping, and absolutely loves her work. Fillers, coloured poles, and new environments never faze her – she is a genuine little machine who always aims to please. At the same time, she is equally happy stepping down to be a safe and sensible lead rein pony.
For a child wanting to come off the lead rein, I would describe her as a fantastic 1.5/second pony for a confident little rider who knows the basics and is ready to have fun.
She is handled daily by children, loves attention, and will happily stand to be groomed all day. She has never been nasty and has the sweetest temperament. Beauty thrives on work and enjoys having a job to do.
She loads perfectly, travels well, and is never sick or sorry. She is good with traffic, the farrier, clipping, and all the usual pony activities. She comes with a full wardrobe.
This is an incredibly sad sale for us. Beauty has been everything we could have wished for and will be greatly missed. The only reason for sale is that our niece is learning to come off the lead rein on her first pony, and Beauty deserves a home where she can continue to shine.

Lovely 13.3 (approx) 4yr old NF gelding looking for an experienced home to continue his education. I bought him as a 3 yr old and spent a year teaching him basic manners; he proved to be a quick learner, and very curious and friendly. I had intended to back him when he turned 4 (in May) but realised I didn’t have the knowledge to do this. He is now working with a professional trainer and has been ridden out on trail rides (with a companion) and in the arena at walk, trot and canter and is responding really well. He has very good conformation and paces, and has the makings of a lovely pony for a child or small adult.
He now needs to move on to a more permanent home where he can continue his education; he is a nervous and reactive pony and can be cold-backed, he must go to someone who understands young ponies and is willing to put in the time to produce a really good pony. Bee is a 14.2hh, 6 year old (2020), chestnut roan Welsh Section D mare, looking for her perfect person and a long-term home. She is fully registered with Budore breeding, by Budore Sir Percy - full breeding available on request.

Bee is a super affectionate mare who loves attention, enjoys a groom, and would love to have someone of her own who has the time and consistency to commit to her. She is a lovely, forward thinking little mare who enjoys having a job and would suit a home with experience of producing young horses.

Bee hacks out confidently on roads and down bridleways, and is happy to go first or last. In Ireland, she went on pub rides, cross-country schooling and to arena hires. She is still green, especially in the school but always tries her best. I have mainly focused on her hacking, with the occasional schooling session alongside my instructor.

I bought Bee last year to produce alongside my older horse, however, due to a change in my personal circumstances, I no longer have the time that a young horse needs. My current yard is also closing down, which means I will not have suitable facilities or somewhere to keep her long term. Because of this, she has had the winter off and has matured beautifully during that time.

Bee is good to clip, stands quietly for the farrier, loads and travels well, and is up to date with vaccinations, dentist, farrier and physiotherapist. She passed a 5-stage vetting with flying colours when I purchased her last year.

She is currently not in work due to my lack of time, so she is being sold from the field and will need bringing back into work. She has not been in proper work for around 5 months and will be a project for someone.

Guinness ("Trooper Noon") – 16.2hh, 18yo Irish Sport Horse Gelding

No novices. No daydreamers. No time wasters.

Guinness is a big, strong, powerful horse looking for a capable rider who wants a quality horse with plenty still to offer. He has successfully evented up to Novice level and, in my opinion, has always had the ability to go Intermediate. He has since been downgraded, making him eligible for Grassroots Championships and giving someone a fantastic opportunity to campaign an experienced horse at that level. Before anyone studies his BE record too closely, every fault on his cross-country record has a story behind it and none of them are down to a lack of bravery, honesty, or ability. Guinness is a genuine, bold cross-country horse who knows his job and enjoys it. He has been out of work for a period due to medical issues, but these have now been dealt with and he is ready to crack on with work again. He will need bringing back into full fitness, so please bear that in mind when enquiring however he does get fit fast. In the stable, Guinness can be grumpy. He pulls faces, makes opinions known, and generally likes to pretend the world is ending. The secret is simple ignore him. He isn't nasty, he's just Guinness.

Under saddle, he is exactly what he looks like a big, powerful horse. He is not suitable for novices, nervous riders, those wanting a quiet plod. He needs a confident rider, His flatwork needs some fine tuning, he isn’t spooky and doesn’t buck, bolt, or rear. Penny - approx 15.3, 4 year old ISH mare full breeding recorded by Irish draft stallion Cloonacauneed Granpda (Ard Grandpa) out of an ISH mare by the wonderful Young Carrabawn.
Penny is a super sweet little mare that has been well produced to date and is riding really sweetly for her age.
Well put together with lovely paces, she is a good mover and wouldn’t look out of place in the show/dressage arena. Working well in all 3 paces in arena with a super trainable attitude.
Been to arena hires and XC schooled, super brave to a fence and has a lovely jump. Bold XC with a real ‘hold my beer’ attitude!
Hacks alone and in company and works away happily in the field here.

Sonic - approx 15/15.1hh, 4 year old Connie x cob gelding.
Sonic is a super sweet and genuine little chap. The ultimate allrounder who’d go off and do a bit of everything and the type to suit the whole family in time.
A really nice type with a pretty little head and a leg in each corner without being heavy.
Good to hack alone or in company and been good in the traffic we’ve met. Riding really well for his age, working away sweetly in the arena with a lovely way of going, nice balanced paces for his age and incredibly willing to learn.
Been out to arena hires and XC schooled, he has a super jump and is very much a yes man. Popped straight round the fences here first time no need to show him anything first, just got on with his job.
Starting to pop some small fences in the arena.

Super type for any job, doesn’t ‘need’ to be busy but equally would go and do a bit of everything if wanted. A really fun little horse who is a nice mix of forward but not too forward, responsive but not sharp. One I ride at the end of the day so I always end the day with a smile on my face.

Lyndhurst Bumblebee (Firefly) is a lovely 13.3 registered NF gelding with excellent conformation and three good paces. I bought him as a 3 yr old and spent a year on groundwork, then sent him to a professional to be backed. He is now hacking out (in company), gaining confidence and proving happy to take the lead. He is working well in the arena in walk, trot and canter, and has started jumping on the lunge. He is a good-looking pony with enormous potential and now needs to find a new home with someone experienced, to continue his education. Firefly is a nervous pony and needs to settle in his new home, and will only be sold to someone I feel has the patience and knowledge to bring him on slowly and carefully.

We are looking for a 2nd type pony between 13.2hh and 14.2hh to take part in all pony club activities, especially showing, showjumping, xc and mostly working hunter type classes.
My daughter is almost 11 and has had the best 3 years on her gold dust first pony who has done his job and given her all the confidence she needs for the next step up.
We are located on a small private yard in Arundel West Sussex and would live with 3 other lovely geldings as a small herd.
My 8 year old daughter has a standard Shetland so they would be off out riding together having lots of pony adventures! Our next pony will live a really varied lifestyle and would want for nothing!
Having our own transport means we love to get out to local shows, arena hires, we are also really lucky living right next to the South Downs with miles of hacking and the beach on our doorstep.

GELDINGS only because of our set up, nothing too quirky she can deal with the odd small excited buck and something a little bit forward going but must have brakes.

Rod the Mod is a 5Y/O piebald gelding who is backed and being ridden away. He has been shown in-hand at County level, behaving beautifully and always placed.

He has lightly hacked both in company and on his own and taken it all in his stride, as well as some pole work and small jumps in an arena.

He has always been straight forward in all ways being good to load, bath, plait and with the farrier - he is always first to the gate and is good to catch - just wants to please.
