Barney is a stunning 16.1hh bay Irish Sports Horse, 14 years young, looking for a 5★ experienced loan home.

He is a kind, well-mannered horse with a great personality and plenty of presence. Barney is easy to handle on the ground and enjoys fuss, cuddles, and attention. He is polite to lead, clip, shoe, and manage day-to-day, although he can be quirky ie noise sensitive to sounds above him (no flapping with coats jangling keys etc).

Barney has a successful eventing background, having competed and won at BE90 and placed at BE100 level. He was evented successfully after being diagnosed with AF, which does not currently affect his work. He has now retired from jumping/eventing due to a previous injury, from which he has fully recovered, and is now looking for a hacking and flatwork-only home.

He enjoys having a job and thrives when ridden regularly.

Barney hacks well both alone and in company. He is snaffle mouthed at all times.

I have had this trailer since new and used it as a muck trailer. The mechanics and hydraulics are all fine and it is good working order. The base and is absolutely sound but the sides have slight rust...but it is possible to get replacements.

Martina is a beautiful 15.2hh TB mare. She retired from playing polo at the end of the season in 2024 and has been used as a hacking horse since. She has really friendly and is very easy to do anything with, shoe, box, vet etc. She is very laid back and is regularly handled by children and has lived with other horses, sheep and chickens.
She is very a sensible hack in company and very safe in traffic but needs a confident rider to hack alone as she is nervous on her own.
Very good to school.
Potential for riding club and low level dressage or practising stick and ball.
She had steroid injections into her front fetlocks twice when playing polo but has not needed them since being used for hacking and she is ridden regularly.
She would really suit a home on a yard or with several horses as she loves company.

Has been in regular use. All lights are working. The brake system is currently not operational, though it has always been parked securely using a wheel chock. It has been used to carry three ponies and driven down steep ground without issue, and the brake issue is reflected already in the price. Last used: 27 May 2026 to move furniture. Price: £1,100 ONO.

Sparkle is a 13.1hh New Forester who my mother and i raised and broke in ourselves. She was my pony club mare for 6 years and did everything from XC, SJ and regional dressage through to winning national level endurance competitions. She's a very smart pony and whilst she can be docile as a lamb when being ridden in riding for the disabled sessions, when i get on and give her a hedge or two to pop she is a forward and fun ride. As a result, if you are looking to do fast hacking/jumping comps she would needs a confident rider who can remind her who is boss!

Unfortunately she has been out of work since i left for University and so i am looking for anyone who could give her some exercise - be it leading her out on walks or competing. She loves to work and just isn't getting enough from my odd weekend off.

We cycle her between our fields in Brock and Pilley, both of which lead onto the forest and have some old jump equipment in the tack room. I would consider moving her should you have your own grazing however she would need to move with our other 13.3 NF mare (who is more green but can also be ridden and used if you are the right fit).

Porcha is an 11-year-old, 14.1hh riding pony type mare looking for her next home. She is a genuine, kind mare who excels out hacking, cross-country and hunting, and would suit a confident rider wanting a forward going pony to enjoy and fun with.

Porcha is a fantastic hacking pony- she is sure-footed, nicely forward going and keen but is sensible, happy to go through water, great with traffic and around livestock.

In her previous home, Porcha was a keen hunting pony and thoroughly enjoyed her job. She went hunting regularly, stood nicely at the meet and throughout the day, didn’t kick and had endless stamina.
She also enjoys her jumping and successfully went SJ and XC in her previous home too.

Porcha has only been in light schooling and hacking work for the last few months so would benefit from regular schooling to get her to peak show/dressage fitness if desired.

She is up to date with vaccinations, worming and has recently had the physio, saddler and teeth checked. Shod fronts only and stands like a dream for the farrier. Good to clip. She is a little sensitive around her left ear but this doesn’t cause issues tacking up etc.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants a horse but not the full commitment or cost.
Billy is a 16.1hh Thoroughbred that we purchased in April this year for my partner to learn & grow with him with me riding him too.
Billy raced only 3 races, then was purchased by a lovely young girl who unfortunately didn’t have time for 2, Billy therefore had done very little work since last August.
However, when I rode him out before purchasing him around the lanes in April, he didn’t put a foot wrong.
Unfortunately things have not gone to plan, i developed pain just as we got Billy & I’m now awaiting a hip replacement, obviously I am going to be out of action for sometime otherwise I would be riding him.
Hence we are looking for someone to ride & bring him on, in the school & out hacking, potentially having lessons with our instructor. We will be asking for a financial contribution, as it stands currently, the riding is unlimited until my partner is ready to get on.
He’s a very loving boy that needs to be doing something!

Due to pregnancy, I am offering my lovely Rebel for full loan. Rebel is a 15.3hh, full bred Irish draught, 15 year old, gelding.

I would love to find Rebel a home where he will be loved and enjoyed while I am off games and for the foreseeable future. He is currently being wasted, in light work.

I have owned Rebel for 4 years and we have taken part in a variety of low level activities such as showjumping clinics, dressage (prelim), fun rides, showing and more. He is such a wonderful allrounder. He is good to hack alone and in company, will go first or last. He is good to load and travel. I have travelled him in a trailer, 3.5t and 18t lorry.

He is good for the farrier and vet. He can be left in the stable on his own. Can be a little headshy with strangers but nothing major.

The ideal home for Rebel would be mainly hacking, fun rides, clinics and low level competitions with a teenager or adult. I just wish for him to have fun. I don’t really want Rebel to do tonnes of schooling / dressage just as this isn’t something he enjoys. He loves jumping but this isn’t something I’ve done loads of with him due to being a bit of a pansy myself.

Rebel is a forward but fun ride, can be a little spooky but nothing ridiculous. Can be strong on fun rides. I used to hunt Rebel a lot which is his favourite but he is very, very strong. Therefore he is not a novice ride. Always in a snaffle at home.

He does have melanomas which need keeping an eye on but do not cause him any issues.

He also had an episode of laminitis this spring, first time he’s had it purely due to the lack of work and is now sound and doing well but this will obviously need maintaining. Will not be an issue if he is kept in work and off lovely sweet grass!

I am in no rush to find somewhere for Rebel, I just want what is best for him and it saddens me to see him being wasted. I would ideally need references for a candidate home as well as coming to have a look before he moves and frequent visits. 5 star home is an absolute must.

Alternatively, I am open to having a sharer or two for him to stay at his current yard in Alton.

13hh Cob Gelding – Fun All-Rounder Looking for His Next Adventure

Around 9 years old, 13hh cob gelding.

A much-loved pony looking for a knowledgeable home where he can continue to have fun and enjoy an active life. He has been an invaluable part of our Alternative Provision, helping young people build confidence through riding, grooming and spending time with horses.

He is not a first pony and would be best suited as a second pony for a confident child or small rider. He can be strong at times and will occasionally throw in a cheeky buck, so needs a rider who won’t be fazed by this and can ride positively.

He has enjoyed a varied life and has previously hunted, attended beach rides, forest rides and was shown successfully in his previous home. He loves getting out and about and enjoys having a job to do.
