Please read the advert carefully before enquiring. Pimms is a laid-back, kick-along type and would suit someone looking for a happy hacker or low-level Riding Club horse. He is not a competitive pony for someone wanting to jump 1m+ tracks.

He absolutely thrives on the hunting field and gives a lovely, confidence-giving ride. Once the hunting season starts, I'll be taking him out again if he hasn't sold, and his price will increase.

Pimms is a 14.2hh, 11-year-old registered New Forest gelding and the perfect safe, steady all-rounder with fantastic conformation and a lovely temperament.

He has completed a full season hunting with the New Forest Hounds, where he behaved impeccably throughout. He is happy to ride at either the front or the back of the field and takes everything in his stride. He has also competed at low-level showing, showjumping and dressage, always proving genuine, mannerly and willing.

Pimms is never hot-headed or silly. He is excellent in heavy traffic, around farm machinery and in open spaces, and is happily ridden in a snaffle at all times.

He hacks alone or in company, will happily lead other horses, and is unfazed by pigs, donkeys, sheep, cattle, flies and other everyday distractions. Very little seems to bother him.

He is a laid-back pony who is more "kick along" than forward-going, making him ideal for someone looking for a safe, relaxed horse to enjoy rather than a sharp or competition-focused ride.

He is easy to clip, bathe, shoe and pull his mane, and loads and travels well in both trailers and horseboxes.

In the field, he gets on well with everyone – mares, geldings, Shetlands and anything else he's turned out with.

On the ground, he is affectionate, easy to handle and has a real Labrador personality around the yard.

Although only 14.2hh, he takes up the leg well and has comfortably carried riders up to 5'10" without looking small.

Pimms would suit someone looking for a kind, genuine, confidence-giving pony to enjoy hunting, hacking, Riding Club activities, low-level competitions or simply having fun. He is a lovely, honest pony looking for a home where he can be enjoyed and appreciated.

Meet Arthur, he is a 15.1 chunky Comtois X - currently - 17yrs old, we rescued his mother from France and out popped him! Super friendly, playful and kind. Easy with the farrier (barefoot), teeth and worming. Easy to load, lead ect. Now retired due to age and back issues (non medical) - no vices. Was on permanent loan for 10yrs, he is now back with us and we are looking for another companion home.
Is great on grassy fields/hay/hayledge - used to a track system and living out 24/7. Currently lives with 1x gelding but used to a herd life.
Is a great companion horse as he can be taken out in hand and is super chilled. He has had kids up grooming and plaiting him with no issues, would make a wonderful ground work horse (agility, trick training) as he has been clicker trained and is a super fast learner.

If you are looking for a safe, confidence giving horse. Then Fe might be right for you. She knows and loves her job. Safe to ride out alone or in company. Good in traffic. No vices and will virtually stop on command. But she can dial up as confidence grows and is also a fun pony with a great attitude.

We have owned her for almost 5 years first as a pony for my young teens to gain confidence but they are ready to compete and we feel that it is time for Fe to return to happy hacking or low level schooling.

She is 19 and we manage her stiffness with a daily sachet of Bute. She also has 2 small, less than 1/2 cm melanomas, untreated which have been stable for 3 years.

She is fantastic to do: farrier/clip/travel/vet and teeth.
She has been fit and well for the 4+ years we have had her. She is much loved by us and on our yard.
She is happy to be out 24/7 or live a stable routine and she lives on air.

Rare Dark bay Caspian gelding for sale, turned 4 years in June. I home bred him and he has great breeding. Reza stands at 11.2hh and is a handsome and lively young man. He is a great companion as he is happy to be left on his own while his friend goes out and can be stabled or live out. He is currently living out 24/7 which he is happiest with.

Reza has done lots of inhand walking and been lead off my ridden horse, he enjoys going out and seeing the world and is a curious chap. He is sensitive and spooky so you have to earn his trust and then he is a loyal friend. Reza can be sharp so not suitable around young children. I have found training him and introducing him to new things very rewarding.

Barefoot, he is good with farrier (as long as they are calm), he is up to date with his vaccinations and had his teeth done for the first time a few months ago. Reza had had sarcoids which have been treated and he has made an excellent recovery.


I would love for him to go to an adult home where someone would love him and enjoy training him. I took him showing once last year (which blew his mind a little but he did very well!)

Caspians are a really interesting breed with a fascinating history and are currently on the critically endangered list. They believe that they pre-date Arabs and are similar to them in many ways. Very intelligent and curious and like forming a bond with their person.
