It does it exactly what it says on the tin offering a more open head for Freedom of the wither and shoulder enabling the width to be wider without compromising tree shape. Very often when a standard tree goes out to the wider fits this changes the profile of the shape creating a curve and often flipping up the back of the cantle off the horses back. Carlos 11hh, 18 year old bay gelding.
We have owned Carlos for just under a year and in that time we have done Showjumping both on and off the lead rein, hacking, pony club rallies and camp this summer. Only for sale as we predominantly hunt and Carlos is too much for my young daughter off the lead rein. We feel he would be better suited to a non hunting home, or a confident 2nd ridden if hunting. He currently lives at the hunt kennels. Good to catch. 9 times out of 10 good to load but can be cheeky. Just need to walk up behind him and he loads. Good in traffic. My daughter has hacked him off the lead rein, cantering with me. He has done PC games ect. He is a typical Welsh and can have cheeky moments and for that reason he would not be suitable for a complete novice. Fine for farrier and he can be tied up and groomed, picked feet out by my daughter. Fine to clip bar round his head. Needs sedating. Would be open to loan with view to buy. Belle – ‘Cappa Issabelle’
15.2hh 13yr old registered Irish Draft mare.

Has bred one lovely foal in the past.

Belle has only been in light work due to riders confidence issues. This is now being increased to return her to fitness ready for her next home.

Belle is a pleasure to have around. She is easy and polite to handle on the ground. Good to catch, shoe, load, clip etc.

She schools beautifully on the flat & happily hacks out with others however is less confident on her own and does require a confident rider when out without company.
Therefore not suitable for a novice rider.

In her previous home she participated in fun rides, beach rides, xc schooling, pony club rallies & camps, express eventing, show jumping & competitions and also hunted in Ireland when she was younger.

Belle is ideally looking for a busy pony club/riding club home or would make an excellent ladies hunter, she is a bright mare that likes to be kept busy. Sadly not suitable for showing as she does dish & has a splint, however this doesn’t bother her at all.
