Description
16.2hh 14 yo Normandy Cob gelding. Bred at the Jouvin stud in France with full ownership known. He is a very kind horse, with excellent manners. He’s broken to drive as well as ride - but we haven’t driven him so a prospective purchaser would need to bear this in mind. He’s not put a foot wrong when ridden since being with us. He’s quiet and easy but due to his size we wouldn’t recommend him to a novice home who wouldn’t do much with him. He enjoys his work and it would be nice to see him in a home who makes the most of his attributes. Good to load, travel, farrier, vacs and teeth up to date!£9000 ono

9yo registered Welsh sec A mare. Available for part loan, full loan or sale, happy to consider any option as she is a sweet pony, but not quite right for my daughter at this time. She is 9 but has only been a lead rein pony this year, previously ridden by older child off the lead rein. She is good on the lead rein, although she is green, she is sweet and willing and coming on well and I think will make a great lead rein pony in time. Currently just walk and trot, in the arena at home, but with more miles under her belt I think she will enjoy doing PC and showing and everything else. She was ridden off the lead rein by an older child in her previous home, but she hasn’t done this with us as we don’t have a suitable jockey so I have no first hand experience of her off the lead rein. My daughter is 5 and has been getting on really well with her on the lead rein, out hacking and in the arena. She is fine on the roads, but need to make sure cars pass wide and slow as otherwise she can be a bit nervous of them. I think in time she will make a super all round pony, she has no bad habits and no issues, she is just a bit green as hasn’t done and seen much in her 9 years. The reason I’m looking for a new jockey for her is that my 5yo daughter isn’t really interested in riding, she mainly wants to paint her hooves multi colours, plait flowers into her mane and hang out in the stable with her. While the pony is fine with this and is good to groom, and I’ve never had a problem before, but I do feel I need to be there supervising all the time and I hold the pony while my daughter is grooming. I can honestly say she has never done anything nasty but the pony does look nervous sometimes and I’m always there to make sure the situation is safe. I would prefer to find for my daughter an older pony that is happy to painted plaited, dressed up, brushed and played around with that I feel happy leaving my daughter in the stable. (If you have a pony like this for sale let me know!)The pony is easy to keep, very well behaved on the yard, she lives in or out and is good to catch and load. No health problems, no laminitis history, no vices. A sweet and willing pony. Sale wise I am asking £1950, full loan I’m happy for her to move yards. And for part loan she is kept in east wellow near Romsey with good facilities, financial contribution to be discussed. Please only enquire if you are an experienced and knowledgeable home, I’m afraid I will not be taking enquiries from first time horse owners as I do not think it would be a good match.

Bracken is a lovely young cob mare with a kind temperament and plenty of potential. She is a very sweet natured mare who is easy to handle on the ground and is regularly handled by children aged 8 and 11. She is safe in the stable, even around food, easy to catch from the field, loads herself, and travels well.Bracken is schooling nicely and has been ridden regularly by my 11-year-old. She is forward-going but sensible, with brakes and lovely flashy paces. She is currently popping small courses of jumps sweetly and is proving to be a straightforward and willing mare. She has hacked alone and in company and is very straightforward not silly or fizzy when hit the gallops and not phased by traffic in anywayShe lives both in and out and is happy in a mixed herd environment.BarefootPicks up all four feetGood for the farrier — initially nervous, but now stands nicelyEasy to bath, groom, and handleEasy to clip Never kicked or bittenUse to farm animalsAlthough Bracken is ridden and handled by children, due to her age she is still learning and developing, so she would not be suitable as a complete novice ride as obviously her age means she can still occasionally need the confidence of her rider. She would ideally suit a competent teenager or small adult who can continue her education and have lots of fun with her.Up to date with:✔ Teeth✔ Vaccinations✔ Farrier✔ Worming✔ Physio£5,000Open to vettingsBased in SO32.

I am gutted to make this post but this pony deserves the world and I can’t give it to her with a big drop in confidence and just not enough passion for it anymore I have come to terms with parting with my Bestfriend… ✨ One in a Million Mare Looking for Her Forever Home ✨Caprece has done a bit of everything with me including hunting, beach rides, XC and schooling. She schools nicely, enjoys her jumping and is a fun little mare for someone wanting a genuine all-rounder. I am unsure of her exact age, but I have been told she is around 7–9 years old. She has a lovely temperament and thrives from a strong 1-1 bond with her person. Once you know her buttons she is a lovely ride and gives you so much back. However, I want to be completely honest as finding the right home is far more important to me than a quick sale. Caprece is NOT a first pony. She can get strong and occasionally impatient, especially if asked to stand around for too long, where she may fidget. Very rarely, if she becomes overly excited, she can throw in a rear, so she will need a confident and knowledgeable rider to continue bringing out the best in her. There are a few more things I’d be happy to discuss with genuinely interested people. This is an extremely difficult decision and she will only go to the very best home. I would ideally prefer any potential new owner to have her on trial before making a final decision, as I want the match to be right for both pony and rider. Mid four figures.Serious enquiries only please.
This is a robust, well built piece of machinery. Used over a number of years, it remains in very good condition, having been kept clean and under cover. Once loaded, very possible by shovel and fork, it can be towed by a 4 x 4 or tractor (even, I am told, by horse, given the correct attachment). When moving, the wheels drive the chains that move the bed, flailing the muck out at the back. Lumps are broken up by the paddles at the rear. Handles start and stop the process.Fitted with a ball coupling and folding dolly wheel, it is manoeverable when moving, lifting or stowing away.Length - 9' 3", width - 3'11", height - 2' 3"It has been a joy to have and made light work of the required job. Price - £ 995 Operator's manual available

Hi everyone 😊I’m currently looking for a genuine long-term share loan horse in the New Forest area.I’m a very experienced rider and have been riding for 14 years. I previously had a share loan horse for 6 years, but unfortunately they moved away.I’m ideally looking for a happy hacker, but I’m also happy to ride in a school too. I’m searching for a calm, sensible horse that doesn’t spook, buck, or rear — just a happy plodder to enjoy and build a bond with.Due to a horrible incident a few months ago, I lost a bit of confidence, but once I get to know the horse my confidence builds back up quickly.I’m reliable, caring, and looking for the right long-term match 😊Please message on WhatsApp 07531175052 if you think you may have something suitable. Thank you!
