12.2hh gelding 20 years old, for full loan as light hack/companion. Our much loved pony, tentatively offered to right home only. He would be a lovely companion pony, can be used as a light hack for rider under 9 stone. Very laid back, nothing phases him, easy to do. Would like small adult for him who needs a companion pony and or light hacking. Will only let him go to the perfect home and must stay local, he is very loved and would never sell him. He’s on a big busy yard/ farm and I think a quieter home if the right one is out there might be nice for him.
9yo registered Welsh sec A, approx 11hh. Lovely little lead rein pony, she has done showing, dressage, jumping and recently just completed pony club mini camp. Has been ridden off the lead rein by bigger children and is a super 2nd pony, ideal for a confident child to go out and have fun on.Over a fence she is very sweet and does a small jump so as not to unseat her little jockey.Mounted games she is very good and actually really quick, I could imagine she would be a fab games pony for an older child. She is sensible and tolerant with fancy dress costumes.Happy with her little rider doing round the worlds, climbing up and down, backwards riding etc.We have not tapped into her full potential showing, she has lovely movement and excellent confirmation. She is registered Welsh pony and has great bloodlines, definitely has potential to go far in the show ring.Very easy to keep, lives in or out, manages her weight well, barefoot and good with farrier. Good to catch, bath and load. Sound and healthy, up to date with worming and 6 monthly flu booster. £3,500 including tack and rug Serious enquiries only please, by telephone. She is only for sale NOT FOR LOAN so please don’t message asking if she is for loan. Has been ridden by my 5 year daughter but now she has moved on to a first ridden pony. Looking for kind, genuine and experienced home for this sweet little mare.
17hh 16yo KWPN bay gelding, Heartbreaker and Concorde bloodlines. Leo is a true gentleman with excellent manners. He always tries hard in whatever is asked of him. Leo is a pleasure to have on the yard, he loves to be fussed over and he easily fits into any routine. Leo does like to be stabled overnight in winter as he can get mud fever if he is in too much mud. He turns out with mares or geldings or on his own. He is wonderful to handle and comes to call in the field, he is clean and tidy in the stable as added bonus!Under saddle Leo rides like a big horse, he is well schooled and he loves to jump but I wouldn’t describe him as suitable for a novice because of his size and breed. Leo has competed dressage to elementary and show jumped to 1.10. He does have a record with a few points from his younger days but latterly he has done unaffiliated. Out hacking Leo can be a bit of a scaredy cat, he definitely prefers to hack out in company. Leo is an impressive horse to look at, he has lovely paces and makes even the big jumps look effortless. He is vice free, heathly, fit and ready to go. He would be well suited to an experienced rider wanting a quality horse to enjoy spending time with on the ground and under saddle. I don’t think a horse of his type would be well suited to a novice and I don’t think a horse of his age and breed would do well being hammered around, he needs to be enjoyed, respected and cared for. For sale only, please don’t message to ask if he is for loan. Located near Romsey. £3,750ono serious enquiries only please, by telephone 07799117724Dressage saddle and brand new GP saddle available by separate negotiation.

14 1" - 19 years old - Experienced all rounder. Heartbreaking sale – absolutely no time wasters please. If you are looking for a fun, kind, experienced older pony who has been there, done it and still has plenty to offer, Izzy could be the perfect match.Izzy is a 19-year-old, 14.1hh Connemara mare with a lovely, varied history. With her previous owners, Izzy gave two young 12-year-old riders some wonderful experiences, including competing at the Pony Club Championships at Hickstead, qualifying for Bicton, winning dressage series, attending clinics, trying arena eventing, and competing at the Lucinda Green XC Academy at Tweseldown, where she finished 2nd.Since coming to me, she has enjoyed a much quieter life of hacking, agility and liberty work.Izzy has previously competed in showjumping and is happiest around 70–80cm. Please don’t ask for jumping videos, as I bought her specifically to forest hack and enjoy quieter activities rather than to compete. Her previous owner is very happy to speak to serious enquirers about her jumping history, and I also have a full history from her last two homes.Izzy hacks out and is forward-going but sensible. She does appreciates reassurance around tractors, so she is not suitable for a novice rider. She loves having a job to do and is happiest when kept active, involved and given plenty of attention, although in addition, with us she has also been very happy to chill. She is great with dogs, children, farrier, vet, we did sedate her to clip her. She is great to load and travels quietly. She is a beautiful, characterful mare who likes a routine. She prefers not to be left completely alone in the field, although she is perfectly settled standing at shows all day with a haynet when other horses are around. She is also happy to be stabled during the wetter winter months, as turnout is restricted here. She has no stable vices. Izzy has recently had both hocks medicated with Arthramid and is now ready to continue a comfortable ridden career in whichever sphere suits her new person. This is an absolutely heartbreaking decision. I bought Izzy with dreams of enjoying beautiful rides together around the New Forest, but sadly she is extremely unsettled by the New Forest crab flies and for this reason, I feel she would be much happier living outside the Forest environment. She is therefore being rehomed through absolutely no fault of her own, I can not express how upsetting a sale this is, and she will only go to a knowledgeable home outside the New Forest.Izzy would best suit a competent older child, teenager, small adult or mother/daughter share looking for a genuine all-round pony to enjoy hacking, clinics, schooling, jumping and having fun with. She is currently being ridden by a competent 14 year old who adores her, she is a much-loved pony looking for her next very special person. No beginners please.Home will be vetted.£3,500 – price reflects age, no offers.

Age: 4 years oldHeight: 13.2hhBreed: Part-bred New Forest (Bred on the forest)Color: ChestnutBuild: Nice, chunky typeDescription:Cracker is a beautiful, traditional chestnut gelding. He is the first to greet you in the field, loves to follow you around, and thoroughly enjoys a good fuss and groom.Given plenty of time to mature naturally, Cracker’s education began earlier this year. He has started long reining and has been wearing full tack, and is now ready for his next home to back him and produce him further. His chunky build and would make a nice project for a knowledgeable home, teenager, or small adult looking to for a potential fun all-rounder or showing/ working hunter type.PSSM n/nHad first 2 vaccinations.£2000Serious inquiries only. Traditional Cob Cross New Forest Pony Gelding | 14hh | 6 Years OldSpanner has been with his owner since he was just 16 days old, so this is an incredibly difficult decision and finding him the right home is my absolute priority. He is a 14hh Traditional Cob x New Forest gelding, by a Traditional Cob sire out of an Appaloosa x New Forest mare. He’s now 6 years old and has been produced slowly and correctly, meaning he is still relatively low mileage for his age with plenty of potential for someone to continue his education. He was lightly backed as a 4-year-old before spending time hacking and building his confidence. As a 5-year-old he began schooling more consistently, and this year he has been introduced to jumping, attended clinics, competed in a couple of dressage tests, taken part in in-hand agility and enjoyed local and charity shows. He has taken everything in his stride with a willing attitude. His dressage scores of 63% and 64% were achieved despite us not practising the tests beforehand—and he’d never even ridden 10m circles prior to the day! With more consistent schooling and someone wanting to focus on dressage, I genuinely think he could excel.Although he has only been introduced to jumping a handful of times, he has shown real promise. With the right person to continue his education, I genuinely believe he could turn his hoof to anything. He has all the attributes to become a fun, competitive all-rounder and could make a fantastic Pony Club or Riding Club pony in time.At present, Spanner is a little tricky to get on. Due to rider circumstances, he has not been ridden for the last five weeks, so he has become slightly fidgety when mounting. This is something that will need patient, consistent handling from someone knowledgeable about bringing on young horses.Spanner is a lovely horse to have around. He is good to catch, good to clip, hacks happily both alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and open spaces, and has always been ridden in a snaffle.Loading is currently a work in progress. He’s improving with patient, consistent handling, and I’m confident this will continue in the right hands. He does have mild sweet itch, which is easily managed. Electric fencing can be used for Spanner, but it must be switched on. His sweet itch has been reflected in his asking price.Spanner would suit someone looking for a genuine young horse who has been given the time to mature rather than rushed. He would suit a knowledgeable home, perhaps with a gutsy teenager or small adult, who enjoys producing young horses and wants to continue his education. In return, they will have a genuine, versatile pony with a lovely future ahead of him.A truly special home is sought for this much-loved boy. This is a heartbreaking sale, so finding the right person important. Please no time wasters as this is a difficult time for the owner.£4800ono
