Description
Peasedown Mable Welsh C 5yrs mareMable will make a great 143 WHP/allrounder/dressage pony. Half sister to Peasedown Maddison and Peasedown Mambo - both HOYS qualifying ponies in the workers. Broken at the end of last year, hacking alone and in company, schooling nicely in all three paces, and started jumping at home. Mable has been out to 2 ridden shows, behaving really well, picking up two 1sts & a 2nd.Mable is a lovely pony with an excited future ahead of her. We strongly believe she will excel in showing, dressage or any discipline. We feel that Mabel would benefit from a confident rider to continue her education as she can be quite sensitive, however she is never nasty and always willing to please. We would love to keep her but we just have too many, and feel she is wasted here when she could be doing more. £5000ono -home is very important.

16.1hh | 8-year-old Gelding | TB (ROR Eligible)Tyson is a lovely 16.1hh, 8-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, eligible for ROR. He retired from racing sound and healthy, simply proving too slow for the track.Since coming off the track, Tyson has been professionally re-schooled and has continued his education with us. During his time here, he has taken part in hunting, low-level show jumping, cross-country schooling, BD Team Quest, showing and adult camp—thoroughly enjoying every activity. He competed in the ROR dressage regionals in 2024 and qualified for the nationals. He consistently proves himself to be a true gentleman in all situations.Tyson hacks confidently both alone and in company. He is sensible in open spaces and groups, always ridden in a snaffle. He is easy to manage and a pleasure to have around—good to catch, clip, shoe, and load (both trailer and lorry). He is happy to live in or out and will happily be in the field on his own.Full history is known. This lovely boy is now looking for his next partner to enjoy more adventures and fun times together. I'm not really sure what to do, so listing him on here. We did a sympathy buy a few years ago and bought Joey. He was bought as a ride & drive pony, with the hope we drive him. However, kids and a busy life later we have not! I'm to heavy to ride him and my partner does not have the knowledge or time to drive him. So Joey hasn't done anything other than being a field ornament and lunged sometimes. He is perfect having his feet trimmed (Andy Marsh), and will stand perfectly while having his teeth done by the equine dentist. He will stand for hours being brushed. Joey is easy to catch and is fine with fly sprays etc. He lived with a mare previous to us, and now he lives alone but enjoys grooming the 2 geldings over the fence next door. Joey is 16 years old, easy to do in pretty much every way. We are looking for a home that will do more with him. I have a pictures on my phone being driven in heavy traffic through London. I have not personally seen him being ridden or driving. He loaded and unloaded perfectly when we got him. He lunges well most of the time, sometimes the first 5 mins he can be a bit silly. I really do believe he will not take much to bring back into work but would make a fab pony again. He lives out with a field shelter (not that he uses it much), wasn't rugged this winter at all but last winter he had a light weight on for a week or so. He's probably a bit chunky, he gets hay through the winter and 1 small feed daily. Up to date on feet, teeth and worming. A good home is essential, for somebody to love him like their own. LWVTB would also be considered, but home is far more important than the price. He doesn't have a saddle, but has rugs should he need them.
New unopened MetaSlim sack of feed pellets. Available for collection at Poole or Charlbury Wimborne. £40 . Open to offers
16.2ish 11 year old bay mare, ror eligible. Sudona retired from racing sound at 7, had two foals and has been professionally re started over the last few months. She has great confirmation and excellent strong feet and moves totally straight. She has a small scar on one of her back legs but is otherwise completely clean. She hacks out and is very good in traffic, only thing she has spooked at is very rattly trailers! She has hacked on her own but prefers to go in company although she is very happy to take the lead. In the school she works sweetly in walk and trot and will have a little canter. She stands nicely at the block to mount and doesn’t seem to vary if she has a couple of days off. On the floor she is excellent to lead, shoe, catch and faff with. She is absolutely not for a nervous or novice rider, mostly she is fine but she can be a little sharp, usually because she spots something in the distance. While I wouldn’t describe her as nasty and she has never tried to get me off, she can sometimes ‘freeze’ if she is tense about something and also can be a typical tb and tap dance on the road if she gets a bit overexcited. Going foward I imagine she will probably need a bit of maintenance/management for her to progress further than where she is currently. Alternatively she is a proven broodmare and would be an asset for someone wanting to add to their breeding program. Home more important than price £2500 ovno

A professional person looking for a sole use or shared small yard. Have run a livery yard in the past, not against filling a small yard again, 6-10 boxes in size, potentially larger dependent on cost. All areas in around Fareham, Portsmouth, Southampton and the surrounding areas considered. Well behaved horses with an equally well behaved owner, prefer to have DIY, as I enjoy doing my horses myself. Would need to have paired turnout all year, although not worried if only a few hours in winter. Would have to have a school. Happy to carry out tidying up and small scale maintenance. I have had horses for over 30 years, have worked on a few yards in the past as well as running a livery yard. If sharing with landowner/ occupier of private yard, happy to help out with horses on site. Horses are insured and well cared for, I can provide references.
I am looking for a kind and quiet, older companion pony to live with my TB.Loving home awaitsPlease no youngsters or ponies that need restricted grazing.Preferably under 13hh but can be flexible. Please get in contact if you have something that might be suitable. Would consider loan or sale.Thank you.
Professionally broken last summer and turned away to finish growing, started his retraining in February, jumping small courses enthusiastically including water trays proving to be bold. Has hacked including ridden through water, seen traffic and walkers with dogs. Schooled lightly with lovely paces.Bought directly from the breeder as a companion for our horse with the intention of becoming our daughters next horse but exams and other interests have led to daughter giving up. He has had a couple of months schooling and now he is having some time off before he goes off on sales livery. He's available at a price less than I paid for him when he was 2 and completely unbroken, sold from the field only to a knowledgeable home who has the time, experience and facilities to take him on to the next stage. He is very kind but he is anxious here due to an experience in the field, happy to discuss further. We know he is very settled away from here as he was chilled in the schooling yard but he needs to build confidence as he is a young horse and learning. He is sound and healthy having passed a vet check when purchased and was checked by my vet on arrival with no issues found. He has had a good start with a professional yard and is a blank canvas ready to start his career. Open to vet. He has been seen to weave mainly at feed time and when stressed here but if in work and relaxed he doesn't do it. Likewise he has copied our ex racer who crib bites but again when in work and relaxed doesn't do it, he apparently wasn't seen cribbing in the schooling yard. These behaviours can easily be managed they are not entrenched in my opinion especially as he is young and learning. We are looking for a kind and knowledgeable home before he goes away again when the price will go up to reflect the training. £5000 if sold in the next week. Phone calls only, I am working but will get back to you. Plenty of photos and videos available. This is a sad sale, my daughter has given up riding but is very attached to him. We would like to stay in touch with the buyer.
Summer project gelding Appaloosa x Welsh CGeorge is 13.2 and just turned 3 in March. I got him unhandled. He was in a herd and I've had him in with a mare gelding and colt. He has done a little with me, hes perfect walking on the lead rope has been around traffic was very good he sometimes has a funny five seconds until he realizes he’s seen it all before and nothing's out to get him he’s had a bit and bridle on and did a bit of long reining he can be bit sassy tied up when he notices you can’t see him he can be nervous with new things but comes around to everything I put Infront of him he just needs a calm and patient reassuring handler Dorset📍He does currently have a blue mane and tail will be washing it out tomorrow so I can get some more videos
