🥁 BE CARNIVAL LEGACY – “Drum” 🥁15.2hh | 11 | Warmblood Gelding Sold as a Project from the field – Experienced loving homes onlyIt breaks my heart to write this, but due to absolutely no fault of his own, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to find Drum a new home. With two children under two and returning to work, I simply don’t have the time he deserves. I’ve owned him for six years and he has been my little baby, so this is a very sad sale, but he deserves someone who can give him the consistency I can’t right now.Drum is a genuine, sweet horse with lots of potential. He has been out of work for a few months, so he is being sold as a project from the field. When in regular work, he was ridden by loaners who took him to the beach, cross‑country and arena hires for clinics. He loves his jumping and would suit a confident rider looking for a fun, project horse to bring back into work. He hacks happily both alone and in company. He’s good with the farrier and dentist ect, loads and travels well, and has a kind temperament. He deserves a loving home where someone can enjoy him and give him the time and attention he thrives on.£3750 ONO

Echo is a striking 15.1hh purebred Arab mare, 16 years old (05/06/2010), with the kindest temperament and most genuine nature you could wish to find. I bought her over three years ago for my nervous mother after she had completely lost her confidence, and she has exceeded every expectation.Since being with us, Echo has mainly been used for hacking on the New Forest. She is excellent with pigs, donkeys, horses, cattle and sheep, and is unfazed by farm machinery, builders, motorbikes, traffic and general roadwork. She is a safe, sensible and enjoyable hack both alone and in company. Why Echo is so special:Outstanding confidence giverSuitable for children, nervous riders and older ridersHacks safely in open spacesExcellent in trafficEasy to manage and keepRegistered purebred ArabianPotential breeding prospectEcho's greatest asset is her incredible nature with beginner riders. We do not have an arena, so beginners have always gone straight out onto the open forest. I have put countless novices on her, from small children to adults over 6ft tall, and every single one has walked, trotted and cantered on their first ride. She genuinely looks after her rider. If someone becomes unbalanced, she waits for them to regain their position. If she feels a rider is not secure enough, she may choose not to canter, and if they lose balance in canter she will quietly return to trot. She is a rare horse who adapts to the person riding her. With a nervous rider she is calm and confidence-giving. With a more capable rider she is forward and enjoyable. With an experienced rider she can be fun and quite whizzy, enjoying a gallop and can become enthusiastic. But this changes depending on the situation, she was invaluable nannying my young horse on his first hacks and happily maintaining a steady pace.Echo schools nicely, works in a pleasant outline and will pop fences up to around 80cm. However, she is not being sold as a competition horse. She has some arthritis in her neck, which we knew about when we bought her. This has been successfully managed with steroid injections, and I am happy to discuss this openly with serious enquiries. As a result, she is best suited to a hacking home with occasional schooling and jumping. She is currently fit, enjoys long rides and was happily carrying beginner riders just two weeks ago.Easy to KeepLives out 24/7 and thrives on itHappy living out or being stabledEasy doerFront shoes in summerBarefoot through winterLightly rugged in winter when in workUsually unrugged from April onwardsBreedingEcho's passport name is BASHEERA, she is registered with the Arab Horse Society.Sire: BOLAERO (BORNEO x HALINA SHAKLANA)Dam: JAMILLAH (ELDYR x KASMARA)She has excellent bone, correct conformation and a strong build that comfortably carries a variety of riders. Her full pedigree and breeding records are available. We have often considered breeding from her ourselves due to her outstanding temperament, quality and bloodlines.Echo would suit:Mother/daughter shareFamily homeNervous or returning riderOlder riderTrekking or riding school roleHappy hacking homeBreeding homeThe only reason for her sale is that we are producing several younger horses and no longer have space to keep her. The right home is far more important than a quick sale.A truly special mare who is worth her weight in gold.Mid 4figs.
Looking for a special person to part loan my boy Hendrix 🐴 Hendrix is always a favourite on the yard, he is easy in all ways on the ground, he absolutely loves a fuss and is the type of horse you can wrap your arms around his neck and give him a cuddle. He will stand happily to be groomed, easy to pick his feet out and tack up. I am looking for a confident adult ideally who enjoys hacking out and light schooling/jumping. He hacks better in company, will go in front, middle or at the back but once he gets to know someone and gets confidence from his rider, he will hack alone. Once he bonds with someone, he will do anything you ask but he is not a push and go pony, he needs a firm but kind rider to get the best out of him. He is based on a lovely yard in fair oak with miles of off road hacking plus outdoor arena with jumps. Also always people to ride with. I am looking for max weight limit of 11 1/2 stone. 4 days a week including a weekend day, yard duties to be done on those days and financial contribution. I would consider a confident teenager, ideally with parents who are horsey or can be around. If you are looking for a loving, fun horse then please contact me. No time wasters or joy riders.

Stunning 2 year old filly. She has had halters on since a foal and walked on the rope and ties for a groom however was turned away for the winter with the herd so would need to be reintroduce this- don’t think it would take very long for her to be reminded. When handled daily she is easy mare but due to lack of time she has become shy with the broodmares. Comes over to a bucket and currently standing about 14 hands. Unfortunately there is no record of parents due to mum passing when she was a foal before in our care but has a passport and up to date with worming. £800 ono

Lovely 16hh, TB, 9-year-old chestnut mare looking for a kind, knowledgeable home. Never raced. She is forward going but safe, so would suit a confident rider rather than a novice. She is a quiet, sensible hack and the type you can leave for weeks, get back on, and she will be good as gold. She is also jumping well and has plenty to offer someone wanting a fun, capable mare.On the ground she is bombproof and easy to do in every way. Good for the farrier, dentist, to load, handle, groom, travel, etc.She can throw in a good buck and get a bit strong when taken out on fun rides or in a busy, exciting group environment, but there is no malice in her at all. She can just get very enthusiastic, so she needs someone confident who will enjoy a forward, fun ride rather than be worried by it.No novices, please, as she is not a kick-along type. She does windsuck, and her price reflects this.Low four figures. A really lovely home is the most important thing.

Looking for livery close to Downton for my gelding.
I am looking for someone to help with my horse's ground work and desensitising. This would involve holding tarps, balloons, gym balls etc while I do the necessary work with my horse. Riding experience not needed but could be useful. I will pay travel expenses to the Winchester area, and am offering above the going rate for yard work. Ideally to do 10 or so sessions of 1 hour per day, as close together as is workable.
I am looking for someone lovely to loan or share Jack. He is a gorgeous 13hh gypsy cob. He is 6 years old and I have had him for 5 years. I backed him 2 years ago and he has been a joy to deal with throughout. He hacks alone and in company. He is happy to lead or follow. He doesn’t bolt, buck or rear, and is excellent in traffic. He has competed at the no stress dressage competitions and has won many times, being obedient, balanced and well schooled. He is good to handle. Needs a patient farrier as doesn’t like his front legs being handled, but over time has become more accepting.I would love for someone to love and enjoy him to his full potential. A full loan would be great but would be happy with a sharer. He is to stay at his current yard in wellow, or move very locally. Please call or email for more details.
