He has been an absolute star for our children and has given our little girl the best memories – attending shows, beach rides, hacks, and in-hand showing. He has also been driven by my two sons and has taken everything in his stride. He has also been ridden and handled by my autistic niece, showing what a kind, patient and gentle little pony he is.

We bought this lorry as a former Furniture Village vehicle and professionally converted it with safety and practicality in mind. It has a reinforced steel cage, fans for comfort and ventilation, internal horse-area cameras visible from the cab, and reversing cameras.

Despite offering the safety and payload benefits of a larger horsebox, it remains compact and easy to drive. Even my mum 5ft who was only used to a golf-sized car found it comfortable and surprisingly easy to drive and reverse.

It is safer than a 3.5-ton horsebox, with a payload closer to a 7.5-ton, but without the extra length. There is also loads of storage space (including a tack locker) and a partially fitted living area with storage under the seats and extra hooks, which could easily be finished to suit your own needs.
