15yro New Forest x American paint mare standing approx 14h.

Pixel was a late starter to ridden life as she was sold by her breeder at 11, so full history known.
In the last 4 years she has done it all from beach rides, jumping shows, lessons and hunting with her teenage owner.

Sadly over this time Pixel has developed some quirks and can be very nappy, which has unnerved her young rider, resulting in her being on sales livery with me.

When she is warmed up she is a forward going pony and loves to jump, she is happily schooling around 80cm courses at the moment, unphased by all fillers and has come home with plenty of rosettes over the years.
She loves to hack, enjoying beach rides & forest hacks, she is fantastic in all traffic and practically bombproof, however she has only hacked in company over the last few years and would therefore be tricky to get her going out on her own now, with time I think she’d come round to this as she enjoys exploring and I have encouraged her to lead when hacking in company recently.
She has hunted and loves to do so, I took her out last week and found her fairly strong however she has been out with her young rider previously and was nothing but a delight.

When napping Pixel will plant, buck and rear, I have footage of this for any interested parties. The rearing is relatively new in terms of her napping history, sadly though she frightened her rider doing so which resulted in her getting off and Pixel winning the battle. Since being here on sales livery Pixel has napped on every ride in the school, however we have always managed to work through it and finish on a good note. She has never napped when hacking unless asked to go in front, so it is not a cold backed issue etc.

I do believe some of the behaviour has stemmed from discomfort previously as she did display a few health complaints on arrival. We have since followed a rehab plan with physios and had her scoped & treated for ulcers, of which she has just scoped clear for. She is now fit as a fiddle and cleared for all exercise, she is so much freer in her movement and happier in herself, which shows in her work although she is now a bit sharper to ride now she is feeling better. This pony has had no expense spared with the above issues being treated, along with regular physio, farrier, dentist & saddler appointments over the 4 years she’s been in the family.

On the ground she can’t really be faulted, she has a sweet nature, is good to handle having stabled at a riding school previously, good to clip, shoe, bath, load & travel. She is quiet both in her stable and in the field, currently in with 1 other mare with post & electric and I’ve never had any issues with her.
I was told on arrival she has sweet-itch & COPD, however I find these to be very mild and have not caused any issues here. She has worn a fly rug since arrival until the colder months and I have never seen her itch, she has a full mane & tail to prove this. Other than having haylage, she is stabled indoors and I’ve never heard her so much as cough, so is in no way high maintenance in that respect either.

Pixel isn’t just anyone’s ride and she is a challenge for someone, that being said, she does have a lot of good qualities and has years of fun to give with plenty of rosettes to be collected and days out exploring the countryside to be had - the photos say it all! In the right home she has plenty to give and that’s exactly what we want to find her.

I’m looking for a part loaner for my pony. He’s kept at a livery yard in Bramshaw and is to remain there. Financial contribution of £120pm for a minimum of 3 days a week. The cost will be going towards his livery, shoes and feed.

Rusty is a 10 year old 13.1 chestnut gelding. I’m looking for someone who is a competent rider, either a teenager or a small adult. He has done fun rides, hacks well alone and in company, has been hunting the last 2 seasons with new forest hounds and schools. The yard we are based at has a large school with lights and is a 3 minute hack to the open forest. A lot of hunt meets are within hacking distance aswell.

Rusty has been off work over the summer as I’ve been pregnant and now that I have had my baby I don’t have as much time to ride as before and feel like someone could benefit from him. He’s easy to do in all ways, just can be cheeky. He does throw the occasional excited buck but nothing nasty. He’s not fast by any means either! Whilst he is generally good, he’s not a kids pony. There are plenty of people to ride out with/go hunting or competing with on the yard also.

I’m not fussy on which days a week you want to do and if you want to take him out, you are more than welcome. He has his own turnout so you don’t need to worry about a field share and he’s deep littered on aubiose so mucking out is minimal.

Looking for his forever home,15 year old gelding who is an easy kick along type ride. Old fashioned chunky Connie. He hacks quietly alone and in company and isn’t phased by any traffic, very used to large farm machinery and cyclists whizzing up from behind. Excellent brakes, snaffle mouthed. Will tie up and stand patiently for hours. Like a big dog to handle on the ground. Excellent to shoe, catch, load, clip and with dentist. Teeth regularly maintained and never had any problems. Good doer but never had laminitis. He’s had a VERY easy life! He can jump but not my thing so he hasn’t done much. Saying that he has always jumped everything he’s been pointed at first time, never refused. I think he’d love hunting. Schools nicely too but I don’t have an arena where I am so he may be a bit rusty. Owned for 10 years, did some clinics and fun rides with him years ago, he was always very good, I took him on my own and he loaded and travelled like a dream. Lightly hacked ever since, he’s the sort you can leave for months and just jump on and go for a ride and he’ll be fine. I just don’t really ride anymore and feel he’s terribly wasted with me. Not suitable for a novice as he can once in a while throw a buck when excited. It’s only ever when going in to canter and it’s quite rare. I’m sure he wouldn’t do it at all if he was ridden regularly. Lives in or out, with or without company. I’ve got a lovely pony call Fairlight Mini Max.
Has a sports pony passport. 13 years, 13.2.
We’ve had him 16 months. He’s a dream to handle and goes beautifully on the flat.
At some stage something has happened to him while jumping as he need to trust you to approach a fence. He doesn’t stop, just as you approach it’s like his legs are in treacle and he gets slower and slower! He doesn’t touch it when he does jump.
When we put a jump in the school and popped over it a few days in a row he was then fine.

Last winter he had to live 24/7 and although he loves his stable - incredibly clean and never kicked the door, it was like the stable was empty. It did then make him a little sharp when ridden. Polar opposite to when we tried him.
But settled again once he can get in the field!

This is a heartbreaking sale of a much loved pony but both daughters have lost their love for riding and Jazz needs to find a new person to love him and have fun with. He would suit a light adult rider or a pony club family. We have owned Jazz since he was 6 years old, when he had just been brought into to work after being broken as a 3 year old.

Jazz has been an active member of Poole and District Pony Club, attending rallies regularly. We have done SJ, dressage, XC, handy pony and fun rides. He attended pony club camp for several years, and represented our PC branch at area level both in handy pony and SJ. He has also competed at NSEA.

Jazz is a safe, snaffle mouthed ride which has taken both daughters from insecure riders on the lead rein to independent, confident jockeys doing dressage, XC, ODE’s and SJ up to 80cm. He has jumped up to 95cm at home and with a confident rider could compete at this level. He is a NF pony and therefore does have a cheeky side but never anything unsafe. Good to load, catch, shoe, clip – I have never clipped his face. Prefers to hack in company but will also hack on his own. Up to date with farrier, worming, vaccines, teeth.

Rosie has so many lovely traits, the list is endless (on her good days 🤣). Rosie adores a pamper, with lots of scratches and cuddles 🥰 She enjoys being worked, with lovely smooth movements and is an absolute pocket rocket! She is super fun, and comes to you, as soon as you arrive at the yard. Rosie is a super rewarding pony, which is why I’d love to see her come to her full potential with the right rider.

Now being completely honest, Rosie has some less-desirable traits, despite the adorable face! Rosie can be difficult on the ground, she plants her feet and needs a confident handler who is firm but kind. She can be bulshy - being a cob she has little regard for personal space and can be pushy. Both of these can be worked on with a kind and patient handler. Rosie has never reared, bucked or bolted however she can nip if she doesn’t get her own way, nothing dangerous however it can happen from time to time. Despite these, Rosie is honesty the best pony ever, I can talk about her for hours. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, I have plenty more photos and information about this lovely girl ❤️
