Josh is very intelligent and knows his job, but he needs a confident rider who will not let him get away with things.
• Known to buck when going into canter — needs a rider who will push him through this and you’ll get a lovely ride
• Not a “stop-start” pony — he will actually teach you to ride properly
• Not forward — needs encouragement, but this means he doesn’t bolt or race

He has been ridden by my daughter and her friends of varying riding abilities, so he is used to different riders and is genuine to handle — he does not kick or bite.
