She moves very well and is very athletic. Can carry on with dressage or could event with the right rider.

Tia will hack in company, walk, trot, canter and pop a small jump all day long but will nap when hacking alone.

Tia is a competition pony therefore, is sharp. She can have a nasty nap ( a shoulder drop and spin ). I have videos to show this behaviour.

Striking, unspooky and very easy, friendly 15.1hh black cob mare (born October 2020) with significant presence who has been out and about locally and on fun rides - ridden by all ages (64-12).

She has the potential to do a lot more in the right hands. She has been hacked out on an “as and when” basis over the last 2 years owing to my life circumstances. This speaks well for her as she is reliably safe despite the irregularity of exercise and education. I am an older lady rider, now looking to retire from riding and want to see her fully optimised as the LOVELY horse she IS and the OUTSTANDING family horse I know she can become.


This little horse moves nicely and is happy to pop a log and is happy with trotting poles and cross poles but has had no “formal” schooling. She can be hacked on the buckle end and is more whoa than go-go-go but I personally (owing to my age) have never encouraged the super speedy side of life! It has been said, by two professional trainers , and I agree, that she would love low level xc and hunting or equally she could easily be shown with a good chance of success – especially because of her presence and calm and sensible disposition even in the buzz of a horsey event- or she would be equally brilliant as a loving family horse and happy hacker.


We live on country lanes and she is good with the local traffic. Her field is in the heart of a pheasant shoot – the guns do not worry her at all .


She is ready for a loving owner who will be consistent, thorough and who wants to teach her and/or learn with her. (Please note however that due solely to her age and size and my desire to see her progress she will NOT be sold to a novice or unconfident rider/handler). She is bright and highly teachable - as such she will quickly become “that horse” that everyone wants. I have not given her the consistency or next step of schooling she deserves.


I would like to see her being brought on intelligently and kindly with a view to being her new owner’s “life horse” having had a great and happy start here with groundwork, hacking and slow, steady and kind life experience. She is snaffle mouthed.


She has been clipped the last two winters. Barefoot with excellent hard feet, good to load and easy to handle. (She can snatch at grass whilst being led but listens when told not to). She lives in or out – solo or company & is a good doer. (She has been predominantly with mares although her first summer here she shared a field with a gelding and was fine.) She can be a bit bossy in the field to others but only pulling faces and chasing off. She respects electric fencing and does not eat the wood on post and rail fencing. She is unfazed being left on her own in the stable or when her friends leave her from the field and is always pleased to see you when you come to the gate either to say hello or take her in for a groom/ride.

Following the loss of my horse I'm looking to sell his 17.5 inch Fairfax dressage saddle. It's a mono-flap with integrated knee/leg blocks and a replaceable gullet plate system with a black (medium) plate fitted and a blue spare (medium/wide) included. The third girth strap has been removed but will be included, if wanted, together with a Fairfax leather girth, stirrup leathers, Sprenger bow balance stirrups and a saddle cover. I'll also throw in the stand if wanted.

This is a very comfortable close-fitting saddle that was used for all types of riding, not just dressage, including every day hacking. It was purchased new in 2015 and cleaned and conditioned after every use so the leather is still very supple with lots of life left in it. It was also assessed and rebalanced by a qualified saddle fitter every 2-3 years.

It is with a very heavy heart that we offer Beauty for sale. She has been a much-loved member of our family for the past 3 years, but sadly she is being wasted with us and deserves a little rider to enjoy everything she has to offer.
Last summer, Beauty spent the season being ridden by our 5-year-old niece on the lead rein, which gave her so much confidence. Together they enjoyed beach rides, shows, and plenty of fun outings, often coming home with rosettes and winning their classes.

Lovely 13.3 (approx) 4yr old NF gelding looking for an experienced home to continue his education. I bought him as a 3 yr old and spent a year teaching him basic manners; he proved to be a quick learner, and very curious and friendly. I had intended to back him when he turned 4 (in May) but realised I didn’t have the knowledge to do this. He is now working with a professional trainer and has been ridden out on trail rides (with a companion) and in the arena at walk, trot and canter and is responding really well. He has very good conformation and paces, and has the makings of a lovely pony for a child or small adult.
He now needs to move on to a more permanent home where he can continue his education; he is a nervous and reactive pony and can be cold-backed, he must go to someone who understands young ponies and is willing to put in the time to produce a really good pony. Bee hacks out confidently on roads and down bridleways, and is happy to go first or last. In Ireland, she went on pub rides, cross-country schooling and to arena hires. She is still green, especially in the school but always tries her best. I have mainly focused on her hacking, with the occasional schooling session alongside my instructor.

I bought Bee last year to produce alongside my older horse, however, due to a change in my personal circumstances, I no longer have the time that a young horse needs. My current yard is also closing down, which means I will not have suitable facilities or somewhere to keep her long term. Because of this, she has had the winter off and has matured beautifully during that time.

Bee is good to clip, stands quietly for the farrier, loads and travels well, and is up to date with vaccinations, dentist, farrier and physiotherapist. She passed a 5-stage vetting with flying colours when I purchased her last year.
