Callie is truly one in a million . 3 years ago my husband had 3 lessons and decided he wanted a horse so we bought her , the day after she arrived we hacked out . From then both have come so far! She was extremely green when we bought her but in the last 3 years we’ve done everything , camps , clinics , fun rides , unaffiliated sj , arena eventing , combined challenge & XC . She’s amazing at it all , she loves XC and at her last clinic jumped 80/90 , her SJ is up to 70’s but she could go to 80 with the right rider. Her schooling is lacking because it’s just not something we do enough of but with the right rider she goes lovely . I truly think she was a bit shut down when we first bought her but she’s blossomed into a really fun forward up for anything pony now . She is not for a complete novice now as we’ve bought her on to enjoy her job , she can also be nervous sometimes so doesn’t need a nervous rider adding to that. She is used in pony club lessons at our yard on Saturdays with the more confident kids . She has not hacked alone as we never needed to and I think she would need a confident rider to do this but like everything we’ve thrown at her she will try her best. Her passport says she’s 17 but we don’t think she is , our vet has put her between 10-15 , the horse passport agency suggested we change her D.O.B to unknown but we would rather leave it as it is , she’s extremely low mileage with no health issues so her passport age is just a number . She’s amazing to load , travel , clip & shoe. There’s so much to say about this girl , too much to put in an ad , all questions welcome . Not a novice ride, that said has safely carried non riders, children, family and friends for a quiet stroll.
I don’t have access to a school so have been unable to try this but I think that he would be great as has moves, ability and brain.

A very easy to do, low maintenance, happy boy that loves a fuss.
Can be strong but never going to bolt, doesn’t buck but may take advantage of novice riders when hacking alone so not a novice ride.

Clover is a super little pony with an adorable personality. She is lovely and gentle on the ground and will stand all day to be fussed over by children.
Experienced being ridden by of all levels of ability. Happy to be on the lead rein but would excel as a second pony.
This gorgeous girl loves life and wants to please, she enjoys jumping and popping the logs in the woods.
Clover has enough bone for a small light weight adult to ride her.

I have been using Equine America Uls-Gard pellets for my pony but it turns out he doesn't have ulcers after only just buying a new tub.

The tub is open but at least three-quarters full.

It cost £60 new but I will accept £45.

Fred is an unregistered Connemara, definitely the laid-back type! He is a super safe hack - hacks alone or in company, and always in a snaffle.

100% in all traffic (we have to cross a busy main road, he waits patiently and is totally unfazed).
100% with loose dogs running around, runners and cyclists (our local hacking is busy woodland, popular with dog walkers, runners, cyclists, families etc).
Good with farm animals (we have alpacas, goats, sheep and chickens on the yard)
Good to catch, load, farrier, clip etc.
Good turned out with other horses.
Excellent manners on the ground. He is happy to stand around and be fussed over by children.

I have come to the very difficult decision to find a new home for our lovely Fred. Fred has been with us for 9 years, and we bought him as a mother/daughter share - for me to hack and my daughter to jump. Unfortunately, due to some minor arthritic changes (I’m happy to discuss this further), we decided to retire him from jumping a year ago. I have been hacking him regularly, but I've decided to now retire from riding, so it is sadly time to find him a new permanent hacking home, where he can give someone else lots of fun.

A calm and sensible pony with a very bright future ahead of her.
Piggy is an absolute gem on the ground and can be caught, led in & out, tied up & messed about with all day by children.
She takes everything in her stride and is always just a very good girl.
Piggy loves to potter around on a hack and will follow the big folks all day long.
She isn't spooky or speedy. She is very forgiving and doesn't mind a bouncy rider but saying that we do feel like such a sweet pony deserves a knowledgeable home that will see her reach her full potential as an absolutely cracking kids pony.
Piggy is still very young so would benefit from some schooling to get her ‘off the leg' a bit more - but this will come with time & experience.
She recently went out with the New Forest Hounds for the first time and behaved impeccably. Absolutely not in a rush to sell as our kids are very much enjoying her but we have too many ponies & waterlogged fields sadly
