Hi, I am in my 40s, looking for a horse to share. I am sensible and reliable. I have ridden since a child. I have had various horse shares over the past 18 years. The last one was for 6 years- unfortunately he passed away. I have had my own pony as a teenager.
I am looking for a calm, sensible horse or pony from 14- 15.2 hands. Although I am flexible about this! ( I am only 5'2 so do prefer smaller horses) I like schooling and hacking. I have done jumping in the past- but don't really like doing this now. I have done dressage up to prelim/Novice level in the past. I have regular lessons. I love spending time with horses- grooming etc. I am happy to do stable chores etc I am looking for a horse share 2- 3 days a week.
I am not able to do set days due to doing shift work.
I am looking for a horse/pony within 20 minutes drive of Bishopstoke.

My beautiful and well kept Ifor Williams is now for sale as I’ve stopped riding and no longer need it. It was serviced in June this year, had a proper clean and is ready to go.

Fabulous opportunity to purchase Marl Mostyn (stable name: Merlin) a much loved and exceptionally talented 15hh, 14-year-old, black, Welsh Cob gelding.

In his long-term partnership with his former rider he competed at BE80 and BE90, placing 7th with a 29.5dressage on his last outing.

Her attentions then switched to dressage where he regularly scored 67%+ at Novice and Elementary level BD.

He was then sold to a lady in her 60s to rekindle the riding of her past, but tragically it has transpired that her own spinal issues mean his talents are being wasted and the sad decision to sell, is in his best interests.

He was bought for my daughter when she had just turned 13 and was sold to us as a teenager/Pony Club horse. Sadly, despite our best intentions, he has proved to be too much horse for a novice rider and we feel he deserves a home where he can thrive and reach his full potential.

About Silver

* Handsome 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding.

Temperament

Silver is not a novice ride and requires an experienced, confident adult rider. He can occasionally throw in a buck and is known to be nappy. He hacks beautifully in company but can be sharp and very alert when out alone.

* Loads into both a trailer and horsebox, although he appreciates a confident handler.
* We have been told he is good to clip, but we have not clipped him ourselves.

Silver would suit an experienced rider looking for a fun horse to enjoy, whether that’s jumping, hunting or general riding. Unfortunately, he and my daughter are simply not the right match.

This is an incredibly difficult decision as Silver is a very much-loved family member, and finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.

Rummy is our gorgeous coming up 5yr old Registered NF gelding. We’ve had Runny since he was 6 months old off the forest. Rummy is now standing around 14hh and really starting to fill out. He was broken last year and was a saint. Since then Runny has been started very slowing as every time I looked at him he filled out somewhere. He’s only mainly hacked. He will hack alone in company although he is very green still and has only hacked alone a few times. Rummy is a very sensitive and sweet boy with no nasty bone in his body he just need someone with more time now and consistency.

He lunges very well and has popped a few jumps on the lunge beautifully. Long reins, used to dogs, kids, comes in by himself, happy to be left by himself. Lovely mover. Travels and loads in both trailers and lorries. Bare foot and great for the farrier. Recently had jabs done (as he hasn’t been anywhere apart from home) and teeth done (saint!) Just a very sweet boy ready for someone to continue his education so no novices.

Nobby is an 8-year-old ex-racehorse Thoroughbred looking for a confident rider to enjoy him and continue his education. He's done a bit of everything but is still green, so he isn't suitable for a novice and would ideally suit someone with TB experience.

His favourite thing is hacking and he absolutely loves a good canter. He's bombproof in heavy traffic and very sensible in open spaces. Like many young TBs, he can occasionally have a look at a scary bin or puddle, but a bit of reassurance is usually all he needs.

He can occasionally throw an excited buck when he's feeling fresh, but he's never bolted and I've always felt safe riding him, even while pregnant.

He has been known to rear in the school on occasion, although this isn't a regular occurrence. He currently does little schoolwork as hacking is where he's happiest.

On the ground, he's a lovely, affectionate horse with good manners. He's easy to catch, lead and handle, stands well for the farrier, and is happy living out alone or with others, although he's a little low in the pecking order and can get bullied.

He did go through a phase of being difficult to come in from the field with his current loaner, but a change in feed and a consistent routine completely resolved the issue.

He loves being groomed, and a few treats will make you his best friend!

I'm looking for someone kind, reliable and confident who wants to enjoy hacking and spending time with a lovely horse. Age isn't important, although under-18s will need a parent or guardian to contact me.

Nobby is currently on loan in Melksham but will be returning to my yard in **Everleigh** at the end of September. His current loaner would be more than happy to provide a reference.

Hacking out beautifully over heathland, open fields, tracks and busy roads. Nothing fazes him. Goes behind, middle and behind.
Absolutely perfect with traffic and not spookie at all. Been backed about 4 weeks and proving to be very bold. Make fantastic project for over the summer to become a great all rounder.

Cloud is a very easy going, gentle and kind horse, who is enjoying his chance at a second career.
He is riding well on the flat, with a level temperament, trainable brain and soft mouth. His paces are super rhythmical and balanced for his level of training. We have started his education over coloured poles, proving genuine and honest but still green in this area.
Cloud hacks alone, and in company, in front or behind. Has led off of another horse in walk and trot out hacking. He has seen traffic and farm machinery, and again unfazed.
Easy to handle, good to do in the stable and tied on the yard, likes some cuddles and affection. Good with the farrier and has nice feet, shod all round. I have not clipped him but he was perfect with the trimmers on his bridlepath so can’t see that he would be a problem. Loads and travels well, standing patiently when we have stopped at the services or arrived prior to unloading.

Cloud has all the building blocks to progress in any sphere with a competent rider, no novices. He deserves a loving home who will dedicate time to his education.
