We are looking for a Horse Riding Coach or Instructor with previous experience in teaching Horse Riding to clients from beginners to more experienced riders. You need to be a responsible person who is confident and competent around horses with a bright, positive attitude. The position is part time, teaching, or assisting with, adult and children’s riding lessons, and on Pony Care sessions in a happy, encouraging and supportive manner.

We do need you to have experience in some or all of these areas, relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Part-time hours: variable up to around 15 hours per week though this is negotiable for the right applicant.

15yo, Connemara x Irish cob mare approx. 14.2hh

Extremely sad sale, my daughter has totally lost interest and unfortunately my circumstances have changed hence sale.
Looking for a happy hacking home for this gorgeous mare. Lilly had an operation in Dec 2022 to snip her annular ligament due to a tendon injury, rehab was done correctly, and she came back into full work. Sadly 6 months later she tweaked a tendon in the other hind leg and was turned away for 14 months to recover. She has now been back in work for 3 months and is sound and enjoying life. She would not be suitable for a jumping home as I feel she needs a quieter life. I will discuss all medical history with any potential buyer.
Lilly has been ridden by all ages; my daughter took her to pony club from the age of 10 and she had a part loaner who was 60+. She’s a super mare with lots of love to give.
Excellent to shoe, teeth, load and travel
Hacks well in company but can be stubborn when hacking alone. She is fine with me but will be nappy with a less confident rider.
Lilly is definitely more woah than go - she is quite happy to plod along behind others and is sensible in open spaces.
She would happily live out all year with shelter and rugs.
I have owned her for 10 years and in this time, she has always been turned out alone. I do not know what she would be like in a herd or paired turnout. She’s not bothered if the horse next door leaves her. She is a very good doer and therefore would need restricting in the summer months. She LOVES her food!!

He is now just hacking out and chilling out but ideally needs someone who has the time to give him one to one in the school to get him back to the incredibly smart boy he is.
I have fully ridden schooled videos of him with me from a few months ago.
He is a delight to do in every way handle catch tack up etc but a sensitive type that will not suit someone who doesn’t understand this.

He was sold for 12k before this happened and I have no doubt will be back to this calibre of Connemara in time.

A fantastic proven kids pony with an abundance of mane and feather, substance and quality but also with 3 free moving and floaty paces.
Minnie is a fantastic kids pony with a cracking future ahead of her. She could take to any job, pony club, family pony, you name it she’ll do it!

She is easy to do in all ways, good for the dentist, farrier, vet, load, trimmers (never needed to be clipped before just beard trims etc), can fidget to bath with cold water. She is always handled and ridden by a child who is 11 years old and also a 7yo. Her routine varies from living out, to sometimes staying in over night if needed to stay clean for a show etc so isn’t fussed on change. Has been out by herself or in a mixed herd and keeps herself to herself. Lives off hay, no hard feed and is barefoot.

Minnie was out of work since October last year, having previously done the od bits here and there, but had then just sat in a field. We have had her since mid July being solely brought back to work by the kids. She is always snaffle mouthed and is more kick than pull but if you’d like a bit of speed it is in there. She knows how to step up and down for her riders.
Minnie has been hacking alone and in company and ridden in open fields. Seeing cyclists, scooters, cars, trailers, trucks.
She’s had her first ever beach trip where she was abit shell shocked but behaved incredibly.
She been cross country schooling for the first time, despite being green in this area she really gave it all a go. Jumping ditches, logs, owl holes, table tops, through water etc. She’ll only get better the more she goes.
She’s been to school hire with lots of colourful show jumps again just giving it her all and not batting an eyelid at any. Just finding her jumping feet.
She isn’t nappy towards other ponies, and happy to go off and do her own thing or for the others to go off and do their own thing. She is the sweetest most genuine pony always looking to please however is still green to jump as she’s done minimal amounts of this but always tries her best matter the dodgy line or flappy hands 🙈and has a sweet little pop on her.

And to top it off she went to her first ever show, winning both her classes and taking reserve champion! 🏆

This little mare has more to learn but really has it all, the looks, the temperament and the ability to give a child the ultimate best friend. Looking for a home where she can be completely adored like she deserves and just go out and continue to enjoy herself.
