Ideal sharer will need to be confident and willing to ride out alone and also knowledgeable to school and help continue her education. Polly is a 23 year old mare whom we have owned and loaned for the last 21 years. She is very experienced pony who excels in all levels - XC. SJ. DS. Gymkhana and games. She is easy to catch, box and shoe, and is up to date with vaccinations, wormers and teeth.

We would be looking for her to have either full or part loan from our yard in Kings Somborne, near Romsey and Winchester, where we have all facilities required including a 50m x 30m arena. Our main aim here is to keep Polly fit and active. We’d happily discuss full loan, part loan, or just weekends for example? We need a young person who loves horses and loves riding, who will be a BF for Polly, and perhaps someone who wants to go to the first level of owning their own pony.

Polly would come to you with full tack and rugs. We may or may not require a financial contribution depending on the level of care you can offer.

She has been on a part loan at our yard for the last 14 months. Previously she was in a competition home for four years, where she competed regularly in unaffiliated showjumping to 85cm, always being placed. Previous loans are happy to provide any references required.

Polly has shown herself to be a true confidence giver, hardly ever refusing jumps and always trying hard for her rider. As she is now 23, her ideal rider would be a young person looking to move to their second pony, possibly a pony club member, who wants to jump up to 60cm, hack and generally enjoy this lovely pony. She does need to get fit again though!

Polly is great around children and adults and she never kicks or bites. She is excellent in traffic, very confident and not easily spooked.

Perfect Lead-Rein / Second Pony

Perfect lead-rein pony or 2nd pony for a more capable/stronger little rider. He can be a little lazy to small legs, so is best suited to a child who enjoys getting him going! This is not the case on the lead rein. I have videos of him being ridden by older riders and he is absolutely amazing.

This special boy has taken my little girl from a very wobbly rider to having so much fun and confidence, including her first pony camp this summer. 💙

During the time we’ve owned him, she has done absolutely everything with him. He gave her the confidence to do her first jumps, happily trotting over anything, and they have enjoyed Pony Club rallies, her first camp, games, show jumping and XC. At camp she even dressed him up as Barbie, and he was completely unfazed by it all!

He has also been on beach rides and will happily swim in the sea, and he has taken her to her first jumping show, including first ridden classes.

He is a very special, confidence-giving lead-rein pony who has given my daughter so many wonderful memories, and we would love to find him a home where he will be just as loved and enjoyed.

We bought Flo with the intention of having her as my open horse, she was rebacked slowly and professionally schooled over the summer but unfortunately with school and work commitments she isn’t going to get enough time spent on her.

⭐ BANKSY – 16.1HH 13YO TB GELDING – SUPER SAFE, FUN ALLROUNDER ⭐

Banksy is quite simply the most awesome horse and a huge yard favourite. A gorgeous, stocky-built 16.1hh 13-year-old TB gelding who is incredibly safe, straightforward and genuinely fun to ride. He would be an ideal horse for a teenager or amateur wanting something they can enjoy straight away while continuing to produce up the levels.

He is super light in the mouth and a lovely, uncomplicated ride. He doesn’t need riding every day and is exactly the same after time off, you can give him a week off, get straight back on and go.

Hacking is one of Banksy’s absolute favourite things. He hacks happily alone or in company and has been ridden with us on busy main roads, seeing lorries, tractors, motorbikes and heavy traffic without being phased. He is equally sensible in open spaces and doesn’t hot up, happily cantering along at a nice steady pace rather than getting strong or silly.

To jump, Banksy is an absolute point-and-go machine. He has never refused a single fence with us and is incredibly genuine, point him at it and he will take you over. He isn’t phased by fillers or spooky fences and is the sort that really gives his rider confidence. He has competed up to 80cm, trained higher and has XC schooled up to 90cm, where again he is simply point and jump. He can get a little quicker when jumping as he enjoys his job, but there is nothing dangerous about him and he is very easy to bring back and steady.

Banksy has never thrown any shapes with us and has been consistently safe and genuine. He has no vices and lives out happily with both mares and geldings.

He really is the definition of a safe but fun horse, sensible enough to look after his rider without being boring, and with plenty of ability and potential for someone wanting to further produce him and move up the levels. Would make a cracking eventer or hunter!
