Description
Rose is a beautiful 16.1hh, 14-year-old chestnut mare looking for a kind and knowledgeable home. She is chilled, kind-natured and easy to have around. A very low-maintenance girl who happily lives off very little and is easy to manage day-to-day.Rose is fantastic as a companion — relaxed, settled and happy in the field, and if you take your other horse away, she is perfectly fine staying behind on her own. There is also the possibility for light hacking with the right person. Rose is sound; however, she does have navicular, so this would need to be carefully managed by an experienced and sympathetic rider. She is easy in the right hands, but she is not suitable for novices.A genuinely lovely mare looking for a quiet, caring home where she can be loved and enjoyed. ❤️Please message for more information.
Shelby (aka My Suir Lass) 15.0hh, 14yrs old, grey ISH mare. Dorset County Show 2025- Won the Riding Club Horse showing and placed second in the 90cm show-jumping with a double clear.Recently placed 9th at her first GOBE80 with a 29.5 dressage. Shelby is a very genuine and honest mare, who has helped me gain my confidence jumping again after a nasty fall. She would excel with someone who is looking to participate in a range of disciplines as she is a very versatile little mare. Shelby is affectionate on the ground and is an angel to load/travel, lives out with others, hacks alone/in company and is sensible in open spaces, shoe, clip, stud, catch and is happy having another pony led off of her. She works nicely on the flat and is very trainable, so could definitely become more established in this area and be successful at BD. She loves to hack and is never silly or strong and is a saint in heavy traffic. My mum, who is a novice rider, has happily hacked out on her. I have not had chance to hunt her myself but I have no doubt that she’d make a mannerly lady’s hunter. She jumps for fun and carries you into a fence and is not one to hold mistakes against you; she is quick and clever showjumping and bold out cross-country so has the grounds to make an excellent grassroots eventer. Would look after a younger or older rider around the lower heights, but equally would do well competitively around the bigger height; she thrives in the competition atmosphere! This mare is my best friend and has been nothing but a pleasure to work with from day one and I know she will be a dream horse for someone as she has been for me. Shelby is much loved and will be missed by me and her old companion, and is for sale due to change of circumstances, so she will only go to a 5* home. £17,000, lots more photos and videos available on request. Please contact Jess on 07726101652.
Trenley Quentin2022 Bay GeldingMallards Wood Law & Order x Trenley Tamara Touch over 14hh, but still bum high so will come up a bit more.Green passport.Vacs, teeth and farrier up to date.Shown successfully in hand since a foal.Long reined last year and sat on and walked around field before being turned away for winter. Ridden and long reined round the field April 2026.Nothing seems to phase him! Walks over poles, doesn't mind quad, harrow, loader, tractor, strimmer etc. Good to load and with farrier.I leave him in stable when I take my mare out and he is quite happy and usually has a snooze! I have no rider to continue his education and he is too nice to be just a field ornament! Kate is a 14,1 Connemara mare easy to do in all ways and the kindest most loving pony you will ever meet. We have had her for 2 years and she has lived out 24/7 in mixed herds and in pairs. She has also been stabled overnight. She lives of grass and is a very good doer, we would ideally like her out 24/7 but she is more than happy to come in for a few hours. She is a quite mare that will always be the bottom the herd and gets on well with all horses and ponies. She has no ongoing health issues and is barefoot, she must only be in a companion home as she has been retired, because she is only field sound this can be explained more upon request. This is non negotiable. She will more than happily stand for hours and be groomed and is great with kids. She doesn't like to be left alone so it would have to be a home with friend/friends. She is up for full loan but happy to re-home to the right home. She has never put a foot wrong and is part of the family. This is a very sad sale for us to make so kind homes only. We are happy to share all vet records and previous history. Kate is up to date on vacs, farrier and dentists.

Lilly is 21 years young. A lovely fun hack who still has so much fun to give and still loves her work so is missing out in her current home due to owners work/life commitments. Lilly has many years experience hunting. She is a fun and forward hack but NEVER bucks or rears. She can be nervous alone but is fine if her rider is confident and reassuring. Same applies to traffic - nervous but improves with reassurance from her rider. Lilly spent many years as a working livery at a local riding school so is used to being ridden by younger riders but would not tolerate spending all of her life in a school - she loves to hack. She isn’t a keen jumper but will jump the odd fence but not suited to a person who wants to jump regularly. She is never sick or sorry and is a good doer that lives out 24/7 with company. She is excellent on the ground and good to catch/shoe/load and travel but she needs sedating to clip.
Very sad sale of my lovely 6 year old OTTB gelding as a project from the field. This is not a decision I’ve made lightly, as I absolutely adore this horse, but due to lack of time he is currently wasted in the field and deserves someone who can bring him back into work properly. He sustained a superficial tear to his digital flexor tendon in January last year, prior to coming to me. Unfortunately, I do not have any further veterinary history or detailed information regarding the injury, as the previous owner was unable to provide this. Since being with me he has healed well, remained sound, and is ready for someone to slowly and sensibly bring back into work. Because of this he is purely for hacking only. He is happy wearing a saddle and has been walked out in it. He goes out in hand both alone and in company without issue. He is good with:• Traffic• Loading• Farrier/shoeing• Dentist• General handlingHe has a lovely nature and is a horse I genuinely care deeply about, so finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale. He would suit someone experienced looking for a rewarding project. Please message for more information.£1500 ONO

The type of horse that everyone wants is available for full loan. Apollo is 6 in July and has had a really solid foundation of education. He wouldn’t be for loan if it wasn’t for illness in my family which is taking priority on my time due to caring commitments. I don’t want him turned away in a field as he loves his work, hence deciding to loan him.He is not to go any further that 1 hours drive from SP10 (Andover, Hampshire). 14 stone weight limit.About him:- He is an honest, safe ride that has 3 fantastic paces and enjoys a jump- He is green in the arena but has been professionally schooled so is building a great foundation- He has lovely paces and is very comfortable to ride- He is very likely to make a great hunting horse- He is bold and level headed out hacking on his own or in company (including groups)- He is as bomb proof as a 6 year old can be- Is shod all round and good to shoe- He is still having a small amount of sedation to clip but is getting better!- He is generally easy to handle on the ground- Will travel well in lorry or trailerDespite the above, he is a YOUNG horse and can have baby moments. What he needs: - He is still a young horse so will occasionally need his hoof held and pushed past things- For this reason he won’t be loaned to a novice or nervous rider- He thrives with boundaries and a routine- He prefers being out with just one other horse but has been in a herd previously- Preference will go to somewhere that he can be turned out with another horse- He can be out 247 (which is prefers) or stabled in the day/night (he won't go somewhere with limited turnout)- He LOVES to work and gets bored if not using his brain- Needs to continue some ground/pole work to continue building his strength as he continues to grow - Has some supplements that he needs to continue (which I will supply)- He will need his weight managed- He would prefer a small/medium yardThere will be a loan agreement in place and an agreed sale price, should this be mutually agreed in the future. However, he is not for sale currently. Please be honest about your ability as I want the loan period to be for a substantial time. He is not suitable for a novice rider, someone coming back into riding, he isn't a confidence giver and he isn't for a child. This is because of his age and the home that I hope to find for him.Photos and videos available on request. I am getting a lot of queries so please send videos of you riding and some information about your set-up, your experience and what you'd like to do with him.
This is a post I didn’t think I would be writing but circumstances have changedI’m looking a new permanent companion home for tedHe’s a 11.1 Welsh sec a,12 yrs old, he would never make a young kids pony as he can have his sharp moments and best suited to be turned or with geldings or mares that will put him in his place , he’s good to do everything with and has lovely paces and nice breeding, he has showed in the past in hand, he will only go to the right home , he’s up to date with vaccinations and good for farrier , he’s just had his teeth done as well, he’s never had laminitisHome is a lot more important then price He dose not particularly like to be left on his own but is happy with company near byHe would also be perfect for someone that wants to have some fun in hand showing and a pony to love and fuss overPease feel free to message with any questionsI have had him six years and will be sad to see him leave but due to having a baby I dint have time to give him the fuss he deserves the right home is top priority more then price

Are you an experienced adult rider looking for a relaxed, enjoyable share, rather than endless schooling or fast-paced hacking, then Zig could be the pony you’ve been looking for. Ziggy is a kind, friendly and sociable 14.1hh New Forest gelding, based in Sway with direct access to enclosure and Forest, so no road riding required. He is a genuine pleasure to be around, both in and out of saddle. He loves gentle hacking, adores being fussed over and is very easy to handle in the ground. I also take him out regularly in hand which he loves - although he will try to seize any opportunity to grab a sneaky snack or browse along the way. He is a much loved, happy pony. I’ve had him since he was a foal and he is now 11, so he is very relaxed and settled, and does not suffer from separation anxiety. He can go out alone and in company. He is non- spooky and straightforward, doesn’t bolt, buck or rear. He is looking for a sympathetic rider to match. Would especially welcome an older rider who appreciates a slightly gentler pace and simply wants to enjoy a safe pleasant ride, with no ambitions to race around - just a calm, relaxed partnership. Maximum rider weight for the share is 10 stone. One thing to be aware of; Ziggy has PSSM1 (a common muscle condition found in some native ponies and other breeds), but please don’t let this put you off. He is very well managed through careful diet and appropriate exercise and rugging, and he lives a full and comfortable life. The only requirement is that you are sensitive to ensuring he is fully warmed up in walk for first 15 minutes or so, before asking for more. If you’re patient, calm and looking for a loving partnership I’d love to hear from you. He is a real gem for the right person.Times are flexible and can be arranged, but you must have your own rider insurance. Ideally I’d like to find someone for the long term rather than just the Summer months.
Charlie is looking for a new home as a companion or to further his driving career. He has been with us for around 5 years in which time he has come out of his shell immensely but is still a shy and nervous character.I have long reined him and he thoroughly enjoys having a job and happily pulls logs around the farm. He hasn't done this since last summer.I do have a harness and cart for him but I haven't put him in shafts yet.He needs patience and kindness to understand what is being asked of him and that it's not scary. He loves hacking out with us and pony's off my mare cantering while she trots. He has done some days in a community farm and really seems to connect with the special needs visitors.£300Home more important than price.Harness & cart also available separately.
