Maverick is a lovely TB who was unfortunately mis sold to me as a novice safe first horse. He is absolutely not suitable for a novice or nervous rider. He needs a confident, experienced handler, ideally someone familiar with ex-racehorse, who can give him consistency, time, and clear direction.

Beautiful 16.2hh, 8yo, TB Mare.

Hattie aka Time To Chat retired from racing sound with no injuries or vices in April 2024, having only raced once. We’ve owned Hattie since August 2024 and have spent the last year focusing on her flatwork/strength and allowing her to learn all about life outside of racing.
Hattie would really excel in any discipline, she is a quality mover with lovely paces. Hattie loves her pole work! We haven’t jumped her under the saddle yet as we wanted to give her time to mature and build her up slowly, however she was a jump horse when racing and when loose schooling she is bold into a fence. I therefore believe she has the ability to go on to event/team chasing. Hacking she is great in company, however does need a strong confident rider to take her alone as she is nervous and will try it on. She is great in traffic, she’s happily hacked down the main road with no issues.

Hattie is a pleasure to have around on the yard, she just wants to be your best friend! She lets my non-horsey dad lead her to and from the field and is a super kind gentle mare. No vices, she is great for the vet/dentist/farrier etc. Hattie is brilliant strong feet and is not your typical shoe pulling type!

Although Hattie is laid back the majority of the time, she can be sensitive and sharp under the saddle and has been known to throw shapes if she’s unsure (never bolted). This is nothing that will phase a confident rider who can push her through it, so therefore she is not suitable for novices.

Hattie passed a 2 stage vetting in August 2024 and has got lovely clean Back X-Rays which I am happy to provide to anyone serious.

This is not an easy sale. Hattie is very much part of the family but due to me training to be a nurse, I cannot offer her the time she needs to continue her education and she deserves to be able to reach her full potential. Hattie is fit and ready to go.

I have made the incredibly tough decision to look for a new home for Bonnie and it is not a decision that has been made lightly.
Bonnie is a 13yr old, 16.2hh Standardbred bay mare.

She has a beautiful face, she is well built and has three lovely paces. She takes confidence from her rider and so is not really a novice ride. She can be nervous so a calm rider who will give her reassurance is a must. She hacks out lovely and has been in happy hacking homes only and has not done jumping with us. She will lead or is equally happy to doddle along behind.

Bonnie is dominant in a herd turnout and would therefore be better suited to singular turnout I think. When it comes to food, she wants to be first, she will inhale hers and then if given the opportunity, will not think twice about nabbing anyone else's!
She has also cottoned on to the fact that if you approach with a head collar, she may have to do some work so likes to give you the run around! She can however be bribed with treats.

I am quite happy to discuss Bonnie and her quirks in more detail with anyone interested.
She has a big heart, she has a lot to give but unfortunately it is becoming apparent that our mixed herd, happy go lucky environment does not suit her. She will not to go to anyone though, I'm looking for her perfect forever home.

Bambi is a super genuine, kind horse who is ready to be brought on in any area.

He's been with us a little over a year, where he’s spent time mostly hacking and introducing schooling, pole work and has just began jumping. I bought him as a project to enjoy whilst my other horse was on box rest. He retired sound from racing as a 4 yr old and has had a quiet life adjusting to life off the track. He has a willing, happy temperament. He is fit, healthy and smart, wants to please and is happy to try anything. Although green he is brave, calm and a quick learner. He moves nicely and is just coming onto a contact but is still green in many aspects of schooling. He’s bold over poles and has plenty of scope.

He's a forward ride so would benefit from an experienced rider (but is never dangerous, has no ridden or handling vices and I have always ridden him in a snaffle). He hacks sensibly alone or in company. He isn’t spooky and is happy going over ditches, water, past traffic & animals (no issues with crab flies). He stands quietly by the lorry alone or with horses - I've taken him show jumping schooling and to a dressage competition where he was very relaxed, including in the warm up ring.
