Barney is excellent for the Farrier, the Dentist the physio vaccinations literally everything. The Farrier commented that Barney is the best he's shod in a long time.

Under saddle, Barney moves well in all three paces—walk, trot, and canter—with a nice, forward trot and good responsiveness. He stops well when asked and is quick to learn.
We have been doing several lessons weekly overseen by an instructor. Barney is such a quick learner and the dressage is coming along beautifully. His trot is always acknowledged as elegant.

He enjoys being ridden, especially in company, and is confident hacking with others. While he sometimes naps or hesitates when ridden alone, on other occasions he hacks perfectly solo— but he often prefers company. Barney can spook at times, which may cause him to momentarily brace, but he is safe and has never done anything dangerous with it at all! Barney takes confidence from his rider. He is steady in the arena and comfortable over poles and small jumps, approaching obstacles carefully and thoughtfully.

Barney has a sensitive side and sometimes needs encouragement to keep moving forward, especially when ridden alone. He can be cautious with new or unfamiliar things and prefers the company of other horses when out hacking.
On the ground, he enjoys attention and grooming but can be a bit assertive at times, so a confident handler is best.

He’s very good with feet, relaxed being showered, and unbothered by everyday noises like cars and sprinklers. Barney gets along well with his herd mates and is generally a gentle soul. Easy to catch!

Barney is best suited to a knowledgeable rider with patience and experience, who can continue building his confidence and enjoy his many positive qualities.

Above all, Barney is a loving horse who thrives on affection, enjoys being fussed over, and has a wonderful nature that shines through.

Freddie,16.1, 14 yrs old Thoroughbred gelding. Freddie is a very kind and gentle horse who is looking for a loving home. He has an amazing temperament, has no vices; doesn't kick, bite, buck or rear. He loves to hack and can hack with or without other horses, infront or behind. He schools very nicely and also produces a lovely dressage test. Freddie is amazing for the farrier and always loads straight away, very good to catch. He does however get sedated to be clipped due to him being twitchy. He is always ridden in a snaffle and is never strong or silly and is very safe and reliable. In Freddie’s early stages of life he raced however was brought out of racing due to being too slow. This mare I can’t explain in words, although her little mareish quirks I have never learnt so much from a horse than Emmy. I have gone hunting , Eventing (novice), Unaffliated BD (Elementary) and showjumping up to 1.10. This mare means more then anything to me, However sadly I can no longer afford to pay for her, this is a right home over anything to me and she will only be going to 5* home which will put the time and effort into her which she needs and deserves.

She’s easy to lead, load (lorry or trailer), shoe, dentist and physio. Anything you think of she is easy. Although will not be able to be left alone in field or stable but she will happily go to competitions alone or hack on her own.

She is a been there done that kinda of horse, although this she is not a complete novice ride. Will suit someone coming off ponies looking for their first horse. She is 14 this year, 16hh, Oldenburg. 6 year old 15hh Warmblood Gelding being sold from field as a project for someone who can devote their time to this sweet natured gelding and continue his education.

He had a fair amount of work put into him last year and earlier this year but he’s been turned away for a few months due to me having other commitments and not having a jockey to help him on his journey. This is reflected in his price.

When in work, he is competent out hacking alone and in company, and is good in traffic and in open spaces. He’s attended cross country schooling, arena eventing clinics and he’s competed at a couple of unaffiliated competitions. Stan is a very exciting prospect and such a lovely person a real cob in a TB body. Currently fit and in work so what you see is what you get! He has hunted in Ireland and ran in a point to point here but was too careful so not quick enough and retired from racing sound. He has a scopey talented jump and took to coloured poles and grid work with ease. He’s not sharp and is always eager to please.
He’s full up 16.1 and at 5 years old is a tad bum high so likely to make 16.2.
Stan is the sweetest easiest horse to have around. He has lovely manners in and out of the stable and has no vices, injuries, lumps or bumps.
He moves straight with 3 lovely paces plus he knows how to gallop and jump. Snaffle mouth and good off the leg, this horse has real star quality with real presence.
Stan is also a very lovely hack, both in company and on his own, even in open spaces he hacks in a relaxed way on the buckle and is fab with traffic, farm machinery, dogs, cows, sheep etc. He has a lovely relaxed loose comfortable walk; a real pleasure. She really is the ultimate schoolmistress. Her full history is known and this is a genuine and sad sale.
Very well behaved PC/RC eventing mare with fabulous results in dressage, clever and careful showjumping, and brave cross country. Harley is a 15.1 8 year old gelding. Friesian x cob with a fine build.

I have had Harley since he was 4 and since he has shown heaps of potential and willing to learn.
He would excel in an all rounder home/ hunter type.

He has beautiful paces and I have taken him to local shows, showjumping and working hunter trials, where we always come home with rosettes.

Harley is showing great potential jumping. Never phased and we have jumped up to 100cm with ease.
His flat work is coming along nicely but will need someone with knowledge in order to continue his education if you’d like to peruse this with him.
He will hack out alone and in company but, like most, prefers company.
He learns very quickly and will make a fantastic horse for someone that is willing to put in the time.
Harley is very affectionate and is always happy to see you. Super easy to catch and always comes over to you when you call. A very lovable boy.

He is good to clip and shoe. He will load and travel but can sometimes be stubborn about going in. Usually food works and he gets better with regular trailer work.

Harley is a wonderful horse but he can be headstrong on the ground and can get overexcited and or fed up with a mundane routine. This improves with consistent work.
Therefore he needs an active home that has the knowledge to handle him and also give him the time and consistency he needs.
He is not a novice ride and a firm but patient hand is a must with him.
He’s been out of work (mostly) over winter and I don’t have the time to bring him back as he can be a handful when out of work.

A knowledgeable, experienced home is essential and homes will be vetted. This is a very sad and difficult decision for me. Sale is only due to lack of time and plans to travel.
