Due to our current Saturday Coach being offered an exciting opportunity overseas, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and horse-focused Session Leader to join our wonderful Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) team on Saturday mornings.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with both people and horses and would like to take responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of our Saturday morning RDA sessions.The RoleAs Saturday Session Leader, you will help coordinate and oversee the morning’s activities, working alongside our RDA Group coaches, groom and volunteers.Responsibilities will include:Overseeing the smooth and safe running of Saturday RDA sessionsSupporting coaches, volunteers, riders and families throughout the morningHelping organise riders, volunteers and horse combinationsOverseeing horse care, preparation and general yard dutiesMonitoring horse welfare and ensuring our ponies are happySupporting volunteers with horse handling, leading and general yard tasksHelping maintain high standards of safety, safeguarding and horse careAssisting with coaching and rider activities where appropriate to your experience and qualificationsReporting to and working closely with the Centre Manager There is also the opportunity to progress through the RDA Coaching Pathway. We are seeking reliable, experienced Freelance Grooms to provide maternity cover at our friendly livery yard in Durley, Southampton. We would happily consider two people for the role, covering approximately two- three split days a week, which must include weekends. We are looking for someone comfortable with covering all yard duties including mucking out, turning out and bringing in and providing high-quality care. We have a friendly team, but there is also time when you would need to be happy to have sole charge when needed. School Farm Equestrian, Lockerley, Nr Romsey, Hampshire is looking to employ an additional member of staff from September.We are a livery yard providing care for 40 horses, all applicants must be experienced enough to be able to provide care/ cover essential to the smooth running of yard.* Must have previous experience with horses.* Need to be confident leading large horses to and from field.* Be competent putting on various boots and rugs.* Able to muck out shavings beds, quickly and thoroughly.* Happy to sweep, weed and generally tidy.* Own form of transport essential. I am looking for help with my 2 old Rescue Ponies due to my age and ongoing health problems. They are at my own yard on North Hayling. I have already found 2 wonderful helpers, but would still need someone for Sunday mornings and evenings and holiday cover plus the odd shift here and there. There is the option for more work in the longer term. The work is not heavy since they are small (Shetland and 13 hh), but due to their health problems I would need someone very reliable, careful and detail oriented. I can pay above average, it’s more important to me to find someone I can trust.

I am looking for someone to help with my horse's ground work and desensitising. This would involve holding tarps, balloons, gym balls etc while I do the necessary work with my horse. Riding experience not needed but could be useful. I will pay travel expenses to the Winchester area, and am offering above the going rate for yard work. WANTED PART TIME GROOM SERVICES FOR 2026/2027 SEASON. The New Forest Bloodhounds (Lyndhurst, Hampshire) are looking for a part-time/freelance groom for the 2026/2027 Season – to start in July. The New Forest Bloodhounds are a clean boot pack based in the New Forest. Hunting the Clean Boot is a fully legal sport involving Bloodhounds hunting human runners - it is currently exempt from the government’s plans to tighten legislation around trail hunting. We are looking for someone with high standards of turn out in keeping with the finest traditions of hunt etiquette, able to ride and exercise up to three hunt horses, with availability to ride out with the huntsman’s second horse. A 7.5t lorry licence is preferable. It will also be considered if the groom wishes to keep hunt horses at their own premises nearby. We are looking for a kind, reliable person to accompany a lady, who has learning disabilities, to her pony. The role entails ensuring her pony and others are fed and cared for. Accompanying/ overseeing her out for short rides in the new forest or in the fields in the yard. Opportunity for a pony to ride along with her for the right person. She is capable of tacking up etc and general horse care, but needs support due to her learning disabilities. The hours are Wednesdays 9-1 and alternate Saturdays 9-2. There would be holiday cover needed at times and possibility of other hours with our other tenants- non horsey- for general support- if this is something someone may be interested in. If interested in both or just some of the hours please get in contact as we are very flexible, reliability is key for this role. Milage is covered from collection, to yard, and home. Rate of pay to be discussed and will reflect experience.
