We are looking for someone who could help us with our poo picking for two retired 16.1hh ex-racers in a field in Colehill, Wimborne. We are looking for help 3/4 days a week and it can be at any time during the day as we feed and check daily usually in the mornings but sometimes in the afteroon as well. It takes usually no more than 30 minutes to rid the fields of dung daily so are happy to offer the going rate of £13 per hour. Ideal for youngsters who would like to earn a bit of pocket money and who have an interest in horses.

Due to our current Saturday Coach being offered an exciting opportunity overseas, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable coach to join our wonderful Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) team on Saturday mornings.
While we are sad to see them go, we are delighted for them and pleased that they will continue to return regularly to volunteer with the group.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm, welcoming, and well-established RDA team, making a real difference to the lives of our riders.

The Role
You will be coaching a variety of riders, from lead rein beginners through to our more advanced cantering group. Sessions are well supported by dedicated volunteers and experienced Volunteer RDA coaches, allowing you to focus on delivering safe, enjoyable, and confidence-building lessons for riders of all abilities. The role also includes overseeing general yard duties and helping ensure the smooth running of the morning's activities. Whilst reporting to Centre Manager and the rest of the team.

Hours
Saturdays, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Start Date
Immediate start available, with shadowing and a full handover provided to ensure a smooth transition.

Pay
Competitive rate, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Safeguarding Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to:
• Complete inhouse and RDA safeguarding training
• Undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Ideal Candidate
✓ BHS qualified or equivalent coach preferred
✓ Confident coaching riders of varying abilities, from lead rein to cantering groups
✓ Positive, patient, and encouraging in their approach
✓ Comfortable working within RDA safeguarding policies and procedures

RDA experience is desirable but not essential. We would particularly welcome applications from BHS coaches interested in progressing through the RDA coaching pathway, with support available to help fast-track training and development within the organisation. I am looking for someone to help with my horse's ground work and desensitising. This would involve holding tarps, balloons, gym balls etc while I do the necessary work with my horse. Riding experience not needed but could be useful.
I will pay travel expenses to the Winchester area, and am offering above the going rate for yard work.
Ideally to do 10 or so sessions of 1 hour per day, as close together as is workable.

Part-Time Groom Required – Sunday Position

We have an opportunity for a groom to join our private yard, helping to care for six horses.

Duties include:
• Turning out and bringing in horses

The New Forest Bloodhounds (Lyndhurst, Hampshire) are looking for a part-time/freelance groom for the 2026/2027 Season – to start in July.

The New Forest Bloodhounds are a clean boot pack based in the New Forest. Hunting the Clean Boot is a fully legal sport involving Bloodhounds hunting human runners - it is currently exempt from the government’s plans to tighten legislation around trail hunting.

We are looking for someone with high standards of turn out in keeping with the finest traditions of hunt etiquette, able to ride and exercise up to three hunt horses, with availability to ride out with the huntsman’s second horse.

A 7.5t lorry licence is preferable. It will also be considered if the groom wishes to keep hunt horses at their own premises nearby.

The role entails ensuring her pony and others are fed and cared for. Accompanying/ overseeing her out for short rides in the new forest or in the fields in the yard. The hours are Wednesdays 9-1 and alternate Saturdays 9-2.
