Seeking a new best mate to build confidence and progress to next level for a teen coming off riding school ponies. First and foremost is a fun friendship for daily fuss and keeping busy. A low level active family home awaits for a new best friend, mare or gelding. Lovely space on a livery yard with good facilities. Will be heading out hacking regularly and must be happy to head out alone and be happy in wide open spaces with a variety of livestock. Fun rides, beach rides and low level RC activities. Ideally aged 6-14 - preferably to buy but also consider lwvtb.
I am a mature rider looking for a gelding 14 hh to 15 hh pony / horse to enjoy a super life hacking across the forest (Must be happy hacking alone on the forest!), having fun in the school: poles, small jumps, equitation. I don’t want to do endless circles but would love to be able to walk trot and canter in the arena , have lessons and go to clinics.I am a competent rider but have had some knocks, which has left me a little nervous. I really want to build my confidence again, I know it’s bubbling inside me but it needs bringing out with an equine who equally wants to have some steady fun.I don’t like stabling ponies, I like them to feel free and cared for in a kind environment. If you think you have the right one for me, please get in touch and maybe I can offer the home that you would like your boy to go to. Jayne

Hi there, Looking for my little boys best friend. He has just turned 3 and absolutely loves doing the horses with me. Currently riding my 14.2hh Welsh D who is perfect, she’s just a bit big… so looking for a tiny tots pony so that I can ride my girly and lead the new pony. Kind and knowledgeable home in the new forest.Said pony must: - be happy living out 24/7 with a shelter - be happy being on their own for short periods of time (as I often take my other two to clinics together etc). - be suitable for a tiny tot to love and fuss - be happy in a little herd Maybe a pony who has had lots of love already but doesn’t have a small rider anyone. Ideally a full loan to move to me. References available of course. If you have anything suitable please email me and we can have a chat. Many thanks, Anna
I am looking for a gelding to join my little herd of two retired horses and I need something that has been there, done that , and needs a quieter life. Ideally he will be a good herd horse to be able to join my two quietly and what I would like to be able to do, is to go for hacks, go for fun rides , do some very low level basic dressage tests, in hand schooling and Trec and obstacle exercises, maybe very minimal jumping 70cm 80cm occasionally.. so basically something I can have some fun on that is not too lively anymore since at 70 I have gone past the stage of bucking youngsters etc. I am.good with horses lacking in confidence if they need to have a rider that gives them confidence.I am very experienced .I can provide references, and I follow people like Warwick Schiller and do lots of horse centric work. I am offering a horse a place at my home yard , where I have 24/7 turnout on grass track , field abd non grass track in summer and on non grass track in winter wuth free access into a double shelter with rubber matting and bedding on one side .Looking to loan or buy .
I would love to welcome a new Forest Broodmare to my herd. Must be fully registered and have a good temperament. Ideally looking for loan but would consider buying if the right mare came along. Lovely home offered for the right mare…

We are looking for a special pony to join our family. We are an experienced home but seeking a quiet pony who enjoys hacking and is suitable for lead rein. Both my children have some special needs and we are seeking the appropriate pony. Must be about 14hh and have gentle safe ground manners. Pony must be happy to be a lead rein and to become a first ridden - although caveat this will not involve much schooling at all and will largely be going for gentle hacks. The pony will live with our two other mares.

I am looking for a very small companion for my 28” , old gelding. Ideally on loan as I don’t want to be in the same position again if he passes. However I am open to options. No laminitis or health issues that require regular medication or vets. My lad is 29 but as long as they are very quiet and small I will consider any age. I have four other ponies but he can’t keep up with them - must be happy to be stabled when needed. I have my own yard and fields at home where they live out with shelters. BH25 area.
We are a newly established equine-assisted therapy and activities practice in Thorney Hill with stables and fields that border the forest. We’re currently seeking a kind and gentle pony who knows the forest and would benefit from a peaceful, enriched life with us.Our small herd of mares enjoy acres of natural grazing with access to shelter, gentle in-hand therapy sessions, and low-level forest hacking. We follow a respectful, natural approach to horse care, handling, and riding. If you have a pony who would enjoy a slower-paced life and would be happy living in a small herd, we would love to hear from you; we can consider re-homing, loans and purchasing. There’s no rush - if the time isn’t right now but may be in the future, please feel free to get in touch.
I am looking for a fully registered (green passport) new forest filly. Preferably a foal, for sale at weaning or a yearling. To make ideally 14hh and to come and live with my other native ponies at an our lovely private yard locally. Must be nice natured with preferably at least a bit of handling. To make a lovely all round riding pony in the future, no rush and will be allowed to grow on naturally. Would love a dun/ buckskin, palomino or bay, not essential however! Long term, knowledgeable home offered. Please contact with details, if including price and breeding.
Good knowledgeable home offered in New Forest to any horse/pony that needs loving! Have 6 others who are loved and ridden regularly. This would be for an older animal that is no longer ridden or just someone who needs a caring new forever home
I have a gorgeous 16hh 6yr old Connie cross mare. She’s field sound, but does have issues under saddle. She’s been through various vetting examinations, but nothing conclusive has been found. I have been advised to turn her away, in the hope she may come back into work. She happily lives out, currently in a mixed herd. In the meantime time, I would love something to ride. I can’t afford to keep two horses, so wondered if anyone would like to swap my girl for 6 months to a year as a companion, whilst I take theirs on to do mainly hacking, clinics etc. This may suit an owner at uni or a break in riding due to pregnancy etc. Any ideas/offers greatly appreciated.
