✨ Lovely all-rounder looking for a new partner to enjoy life with while mum takes a break! ✨Due to absolutely no fault of his own, I’m looking to offer my lovely boy on full loan or possible part loan to the right person. I’m currently pregnant and don’t want to see him wasted in the field when he has so much to give. He’s a genuine “been there, done it” type with a wonderful character to match. He loves having a job and is happiest when he’s being ridden and fussed over.📍 Located in the New Forest on our family farmFor a full loan, the home must be within 2 hours of Christchurch as I would like to vet the new home and still be able to visit him occasionally. He would suit a confident rider. He can have the occasional spook when ridden in unfamiliar situations, but his reaction is simply to stop and look at whatever he thinks is scary. With a calm, confident rider to reassure him, he goes straight past. For this reason, he wouldn’t suit a novice. He is a lovely all-rounder who enjoys hacking, schooling and jumping, and is capable of so much with someone who wants to get out and have fun with him.Management:Happy to live in or outPreviously stabled at night on his own and was perfectly contentCurrently living out 24/7 but still comes in occasionallyCurrently in his own paddock and respects fencingCan happily live with others, I just don’t currently have a suitable companion for himNot bothered when other horses leave the yardOn the ground he is a dream — happy to stand for hours being pampered, clipped, shod, groomed etc. Most of my riding with him has been solo hacking (my little bit of peace away from mum life!), but he’s also been out with others and behaves exactly the same — if anything, he’s even more relaxed. He’s happy to go first or last. What matters most to me is that he goes somewhere he will be loved, enjoyed and kept doing what he enjoys.📩 Please WhatsApp or text in the first instance as I’m usually either up the farm, working, or chasing my toddler around!Loan options:Full LoanWithin 2 hours of ChristchurchHome will be vettedI would love to visit occasionallyPart LoanHorse stays on our family farm in the New ForestLoaner covers his upkeepI will continue to care for him 3 days a week
Dudley is a 16.1h 17 year old ex race horse. He has been with me for 7 years and we have primary been competing in eventing! Dudley had the scope and talent to go very far but he simply didn’t have the desire. Since then he has just enjoyed some down time in the field but due to personal reasons I need him to find a new friend for a while!Dudley is your stereotypical thoroughbred, he can throw some spectacular shapes! He is definitely NOT a novice ride!I think he would be suited to a happy hacking home or low level dressage home. His behaviour definitely depends on what you are asking from him, the higher my expectations grew the worse his behaviour got so that was why I decided turning him away would be best for him. This is extremely difficult for me, he is my heart horse and I never expected to be in the position where I would be entrusting someone else with him! Homes will be vetted! No time wasters pleaseMore information and videos of his behaviour can be sharedMessage: 07557515685
A lovely pony, 13hh Welsh b gelding rising 8 years. Totally field sound but not to be ridden, looking for a loving full loan home. He’s happy living in or out and gets on with mares and geldings. Good to catch, have his feet trimmed, up to date with worming and vaccinations, recently had his teeth done. Based Isle of Wight, happy to help with transport.
We’re looking for a loving and experienced long-term loan home for our gorgeous gelding, Sampson — he is an 8-year-old bred by our late mum. This is a hard decision for us, and we’re only considering it because we want to give him the best possible future with someone who will bring out the best in him.Sampson is a Hanoverian x Thoroughbred crossed with Holsteiner. He was professionally backed at four years old and has done a bit of everything since, he’s recently been brought back into work for around the last 2 months after being out of consistent work for nearly two years, this being due to our own lack of facilities, experience and time not due to fault of his own. While he has a gorgeous and loving temperament — he is a big character and needs someone confident, calm, and experienced both on the ground and in the saddle. He is not suitable for a novice. He would be a fantastic project for someone experienced looking to further his potential. Because of the circumstances we are not looking to sell. This would be a full loan with no intention of having him back — but only to the right person, we would love to stay in touch and see how he’s getting on.We know Sampson has the potential to be an incredible partner for the right person, and we’re looking for someone who will love him as much as we do.Please contact me for more information, serious enquiries only please.
Very sadly I am looking for a loan home for my lovely Hatty, due to difficult circumstances. She’s approx 13.3hh, 17yo NFxTB, and has been out of work for a long time so would suit as a companion and somewhat happy hacker. She is loving and well behaved on the ground but can be an excitable ride. It’s so important to me she goes to the most loving 5 star home so I will be completely honest about all her quirks. She is currently turned out 24/7 but has been stabled in the past and loves it. She is my childhood pony but due to my own circumstances I am looking for her to go out on loan for a year or so. She is not a straightforward ride and can be very forward and throw in a buck and sadly sometimes she will rear out of protest. Which is why i’d be happy for her to go out as a companion or a happy hacker for a confident rider. There is still fun to be had with her by the right rider, she has hunted, done XC and show jumped but has been out of work for a couple of years apart from the odd hack. She still loves a good gallop but equally loves her retired lifestyle. She has had a couple of laminitis spells but has always been managed by box rest/diet and has never had any rotation. No other health issues and is currently shod on the front. Currently based in Colehill and could stay at current yard for the right person. Will answer any questions honestly as she must go to an incredibly loving, experienced home.
Bally is a 25 year old Connemara gelding, 15.1 h. he has been retired for the last 18 months due to arthritis. He is looking for a permanent home as a field companion. He loves human contact and can live with mares or geldings. Very easy to handle, he can live out all year but is happy to be stabled too. He has had no veterinary treatment in the last year and is on no medication. He is extremely affectionate and a good doer. Bally is currently out at grass with other retired horses. Please contact me with any questions.
We are looking for a new companion home for our 11.1hh grey. She is so sweet and friendly and neighs whenever she hears the door open and follows you around while poo picking. She sadly cannot be ridden due to her back but she still has lots of love to give. She loves kids and affection. Please do contact me if you can offer her a home. Thank you

Open to selling him in the right circumstances. Serious enquiries only no timewasters not suitable for a novice or under 18s. 07564 409321.
Nobby is 7 yrs and 16.2hh - ex racer and ROR eligible.Owned for 4 years he’s been my best friend but I need help as I’m short for time so I’m looking for someone to love him like their own. Located in Everleigh, Wiltshire and will not be moving. Flexible on days and how often. There will be a financial contribution required.Nobby has done a bit of everything. Shows, XC, fun rides etc. - Good to shoe, vet, catch and clip. - Good stable manners and loves a fuss- Loads and travels well in a lorry or side trailer. Will load into a small trailer but not done for a long time so unsure how he would be. - Lives out alone or in a herd- Hacks well alone or in company - Jumped up to 105cm but not done for about a year. - We don’t school much due to us enjoying being out and about. If bored in the school he can rear but it’s not often. This is a learnt behaviour and I have no doubt with a confident strong rider this will be easy to correct. That being said he will not suit a purely schooling home. - Out hacking does listen well but again needs someone who knows what to feel for and be confident. - Has an impeccable jump and has always been so honest. - A few past injuries that I’m more than happy to discuss in full to anyone interested. Not effecting him at all now. - Needs a disciplined, consistent rider who is willing to put the work in as this is a horse that needs a job.
It’s been a hard decision but I’m offering Bella out for full loan to stay at current yard based in Holt. I’ve owned Bella for almost 5 years and she’s been a dream and has looked after me, but sadly I just don’t have enough time to keep her in consistent work and feel that this amazing girl is being wasted.Bella is never nasty and loves bonding with her rider. She’s very safe and sensible but not for a novice because if she detects you’re not confident and experienced she won’t go forward. She needs someone kind but firm. She hasn’t done much over the summer so schooling needs some work but once she’s back in regular work she’s a dream. Videos and photos available at request. No under 18’s, no novices and no time wasters. Genuine enquiries only.
Rory - available for full loan to excellent home for light hacking only. 10 year old, 17.1/2hh. Rory is such a lovely boy with a huge character. An easy keeper and really easy to do. Turns out with others fine. He’s a funny lovable character, a bit of a toddler on the ground he’s hilarious and if something can go in his mouth and be thrown across the yard it will be. Available only as a light hack, pootle about a couple of times a week/short canter here and there. Pretty bomproof to ride very good in traffic, can occasionally have a jig jog and a squeak/tiny leap so no novices please, but you’d have to try pretty hard to fall off him. Happily hacks alone and doesn’t matter if he’s had some time off you can just hop up on him. He is a fantastic pub horse and will stand about happily while you have a drink! Wouldn’t cope with lots of trotting on the roads and unfortunately wouldn’t hold up to a ‘proper’ job hence reason for loan. He’s not on any maintenance/injections, eats hay (lots of) and basic feed, shod every 6 weeks nothing fancy. Would benefit from physio every 3/4 months or so if back in work and possibly a supplement like boswellia or something. Lived out last winter with good shelter/rugs and plenty of forage but happily stables too although he won’t tolerate lots of stabling with no turnout so nowhere that has horses in all winter please. Only out of work as we don’t have the time to ride him as too many others in full work. Happy to discuss his niggles to anyone seriously interested but please don’t enquire if really, you want to jump/school regularly/go off on regular fast hacks etc. Will have his saddle, bridle and rugs with him. No novices please he’s too big and I want someone that will be able to notice if he needs a slightly easier week/not looking 100%. And only kind loving owners! He is the kindest, most generous horse to walk this earth and he means the world to us. Please pop me a message if interested and I’ll call you back as soon as I can. I’d like him not to go too far away from us (down south) and we will need references and a contract drawn up. We won’t be coming to whip him away from you if he’s loved and cared for, he’d be yours as long as you want him but he’s always got a place here so he can come back if needed. 07581238106
