I have had Caramel since she came off of Dartmoor at 6 months old totally untouched.

Caramel is very friendly, loves people and kids, being groomed with bottom and upper inner thigh scratches. Caramel will approach to say hello and then will turn her bum into you for her scratches!

Caramel is bombproof in traffic (I have walked her down really busy roads) farm machinery and has lived with cows and sheep happily.

Caramel is good with dogs. She is good to clip, trim (barefoot fantastic feet), travels well with a little encouragement to get on board (trailer or box). She ties up well with a haynet. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and teeth.

Caramel has been sat on by a couple of small people and I have laid over her back (9stone) and she hasn’t batted an eyelid and just kept on munching. She is a really tough stocky girl who will need her grass intake carefully monitored. She has never had any illnesses, injuries or laminitis. She does need working in some format as she loves going out.

Caramel would love a small person of her own and to start having adventures under the guidance of someone who knows what they are doing.

Caramel has always lived out 24/7 in a mixed herd of all ages and sizes, the bigger the herd the better. Caramel does not do well on her own.

I love this pony dearly and she must go to an experienced and kind loan home in the Dorset/Hants/Wilts area. I will need references, contracts signed and see where she would be living. I will also want to visit occasionally to make sure she is safe and well.

Meet Bear a loving gentle gelding who is looking for his forever home as a hack. Bear is a 17.3 hh 14 years old gelding and has now come to the end of his dressage career and is looking for a new home where he can have a quieter life with lots of attention. He would prefer to be stabled at night and not stay out too long in the field. He loves being groomed and have lots of attention. He would prefer a home where there are other horses.

His ideal home would be light hacking, he is excellent in traffic including large tractors and trailers.

Nobby is 7 yrs and 16.2hh - ex racer and ROR eligible.

Owned for 4 years he’s been my best friend but I need help as I’m short for time so I’m looking for someone to love him like their own. Located in Everleigh, Wiltshire and will not be moving. Flexible on days and how often. There will be a financial contribution required.

Nobby has done a bit of everything. Shows, XC, fun rides etc.

- Good to shoe, vet, catch and clip.
- Good stable manners and loves a fuss
- Loads and travels well in a lorry or side trailer. Will load into a small trailer but not done for a long time so unsure how he would be.
- Lives out alone or in a herd
- Hacks well alone or in company
- Jumped up to 105cm but not done for about a year.
- We don’t school much due to us enjoying being out and about. If bored in the school he can rear but it’s not often. This is a learnt behaviour and I have no doubt with a confident strong rider this will be easy to correct. That being said he will not suit a purely schooling home.
- Out hacking does listen well but again needs someone who knows what to feel for and be confident.
- Has an impeccable jump and has always been so honest.
- A few past injuries that I’m more than happy to discuss in full to anyone interested. Not effecting him at all now.
- Needs a disciplined, consistent rider who is willing to put the work in as this is a horse that needs a job.

It’s been a hard decision but I’m offering Bella out for full loan to stay at current yard based in Holt. I’ve owned Bella for almost 5 years and she’s been a dream and has looked after me, but sadly I just don’t have enough time to keep her in consistent work and feel that this amazing girl is being wasted.
Bella is never nasty and loves bonding with her rider. She’s very safe and sensible but not for a novice because if she detects you’re not confident and experienced she won’t go forward. 10 year old, 17.1/2hh.
Rory is such a lovely boy with a huge character. An easy keeper and really easy to do. Turns out with others fine. He’s a funny lovable character, a bit of a toddler on the ground he’s hilarious and if something can go in his mouth and be thrown across the yard it will be.

Available only as a light hack, pootle about a couple of times a week/short canter here and there. Pretty bomproof to ride very good in traffic, can occasionally have a jig jog and a squeak/tiny leap so no novices please, but you’d have to try pretty hard to fall off him. Happily hacks alone and doesn’t matter if he’s had some time off you can just hop up on him.
He is a fantastic pub horse and will stand about happily while you have a drink!
Wouldn’t cope with lots of trotting on the roads and unfortunately wouldn’t hold up to a ‘proper’ job hence reason for loan. He’s not on any maintenance/injections, eats hay (lots of) and basic feed, shod every 6 weeks nothing fancy. Would benefit from physio every 3/4 months or so if back in work and possibly a supplement like boswellia or something.
Lived out last winter with good shelter/rugs and plenty of forage but happily stables too although he won’t tolerate lots of stabling with no turnout so nowhere that has horses in all winter please. Only out of work as we don’t have the time to ride him as too many others in full work. Happy to discuss his niggles to anyone seriously interested but please don’t enquire if really, you want to jump/school regularly/go off on regular fast hacks etc. Will have his saddle, bridle and rugs with him.
No novices please he’s too big and I want someone that will be able to notice if he needs a slightly easier week/not looking 100%. And only kind loving owners! He is the kindest, most generous horse to walk this earth and he means the world to us.

We’ve owned Rags for 14 years and he has been a fun 1st / 2nd pony for myself, sister and loan homes. He’s done low-level showing, pony club, fun rides and hunting.

He’s a safe, but forward ride. Excellent as a lead rein pony, but off the lead rein he can be sharp so would suit a 1st / 2nd pony for a confident child who won’t be phased by the odd spook.

We’re looking for a kind, low-level rider / home where he can enjoy life and have fun without being pushed too hard. He’d suit a confident child or family wanting to do a bit of everything for enjoyment – light hacking, gentle schooling, fun rides and light Pony Club activities.

He will need bringing back into work through no fault of his own but he will be fairly easy to do this with. He has never ever bucked reared or bolted, he's not keen on school work but that being said he can produce some lovely work has popped a jump and loves to hack. Safe in traffic never silly or strong, stands as good as gold to be tacked up and groomed, excellent to clip. Teeth due December as done every 6 months, is on minimal feed as is a good doer. MUST stay at present yard near Blandford this is non negotiable.

Millie is a 16.3 Sport horse. Not a novice ride because she can spook hacking. Millie was a Showjumping initially until a medical problem prevented her continuing. She was BSJA up to Newcomers. She had a foal in 2021 and has been used for RC, Dressage and pole and SJ clinics since having the foal. She isn't suitable for Cross Country or Hunting because she can only jump on a good surface. Requires company for hacking. She is good to handle and will load and travel in a trailer and horse box appropriate for her size. She prefers travelling backwards or herringbone but can travel forwards. I have owned her since she was 6 years old. She has fitted tack and rugs. I would prefer a trial at her current yard.
