If you are looking for a fun, kind, experienced older pony who has been there, done it and still has plenty to offer, Izzy could be the perfect match.

Izzy is a 19-year-old, 14.1hh Connemara mare with a lovely, varied history.

With her previous owners, Izzy gave two young 12-year-old riders some wonderful experiences, including competing at the Pony Club Championships at Hickstead, qualifying for Bicton, winning dressage series, attending clinics, trying arena eventing, and competing at the Lucinda Green XC Academy at Tweseldown, where she finished 2nd.

Since coming to me, she has enjoyed a much quieter life of hacking, agility and liberty work.

Izzy has previously competed in showjumping and is happiest around 70–80cm. Please don’t ask for jumping videos, as I bought her specifically to forest hack and enjoy quieter activities rather than to compete. Her previous owner is very happy to speak to serious enquirers about her jumping history, and I also have a full history from her last two homes.

Izzy hacks out and is forward-going but sensible. She does appreciates reassurance around tractors, so she is not suitable for a novice rider. She loves having a job to do and is happiest when kept active, involved and given plenty of attention, although in addition, with us she has also been very happy to chill. She is great with dogs, children, farrier, vet, we did sedate her to clip her. She is great to load and travels quietly.

She is a beautiful, characterful mare who likes a routine. She prefers not to be left completely alone in the field, although she is perfectly settled standing at shows all day with a haynet when other horses are around. She is also happy to be stabled during the wetter winter months, as turnout is restricted here. She has no stable vices.

Izzy has recently had both hocks medicated with Arthramid and is now ready to continue a comfortable ridden career in whichever sphere suits her new person.

This is an absolutely heartbreaking decision. I bought Izzy with dreams of enjoying beautiful rides together around the New Forest, but sadly she is extremely unsettled by the New Forest crab flies and for this reason, I feel she would be much happier living outside the Forest environment.

She is therefore being rehomed through absolutely no fault of her own, I can not express how upsetting a sale this is, and she will only go to a knowledgeable home outside the New Forest.

Izzy would best suit a competent older child, teenager, small adult or mother/daughter share looking for a genuine all-round pony to enjoy hacking, clinics, schooling, jumping and having fun with. Traditional Cob Cross New Forest Pony Gelding | 14hh | 6 Years Old

Spanner has been with his owner since he was just 16 days old, so this is an incredibly difficult decision and finding him the right home is my absolute priority.

He is a 14hh Traditional Cob x New Forest gelding, by a Traditional Cob sire out of an Appaloosa x New Forest mare. He’s now 6 years old and has been produced slowly and correctly, meaning he is still relatively low mileage for his age with plenty of potential for someone to continue his education.

He was lightly backed as a 4-year-old before spending time hacking and building his confidence. As a 5-year-old he began schooling more consistently, and this year he has been introduced to jumping, attended clinics, competed in a couple of dressage tests, taken part in in-hand agility and enjoyed local and charity shows. He has taken everything in his stride with a willing attitude.

His dressage scores of 63% and 64% were achieved despite us not practising the tests beforehand—and he’d never even ridden 10m circles prior to the day! With more consistent schooling and someone wanting to focus on dressage, I genuinely think he could excel.

Although he has only been introduced to jumping a handful of times, he has shown real promise. With the right person to continue his education, I genuinely believe he could turn his hoof to anything. He has all the attributes to become a fun, competitive all-rounder and could make a fantastic Pony Club or Riding Club pony in time.

At present, Spanner is a little tricky to get on. Due to rider circumstances, he has not been ridden for the last five weeks, so he has become slightly fidgety when mounting. This is something that will need patient, consistent handling from someone knowledgeable about bringing on young horses.

Spanner is a lovely horse to have around. He is good to catch, good to clip, hacks happily both alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and open spaces, and has always been ridden in a snaffle.

Loading is currently a work in progress. He’s improving with patient, consistent handling, and I’m confident this will continue in the right hands.

He does have mild sweet itch, which is easily managed. Electric fencing can be used for Spanner, but it must be switched on. His sweet itch has been reflected in his asking price.

Spanner would suit someone looking for a genuine young horse who has been given the time to mature rather than rushed. He would suit a knowledgeable home, perhaps with a gutsy teenager or small adult, who enjoys producing young horses and wants to continue his education. In return, they will have a genuine, versatile pony with a lovely future ahead of him.

Dodger is a 14.2hh (+ a little bit) Welsh with huge potential and a big personality. He started work in Aug 2025 has been produced slowly and correctly, allowing him plenty of time to mature and enjoy his work. He’d suit a competent teen who wants to do a bit of everything or a light weight adult.

On the flat, he has three balanced paces with good movement and a basic understanding of lateral work. He is willing, intelligent and enjoys learning.

Jumping is something Dodger genuinely loves. Due to his age and stage of education, he hasn’t been over-jumped, but he was comfortably schooling around 80–90cm before owner circumstances meant his jumping work took a back seat. He has a good foundation for this to be picked up again. *UPDATE - jumped today for the first time in 4 months and behaved perfectly*

He hacks confidently in company and has happily cantered through open fields and along tracks. He will hack alone but, being a young horse, appreciates a confident rider to reassure him when he encounters something new. He is never nasty or unsafe—just young and looking for guidance.

Dodger is exceptionally brave with coloured poles, fillers and arena obstacles. He has also completed plenty of groundwork, including flags, flapping plastic, tarpaulins etc. His main area of insecurity is traffic, and he has been making good progress through desensitisation work. This is something that should continue with his new owner.

He has a lovely temperament both in and out of the stable. He’s incredibly social, is kind with both mares and geldings, and can often be found playing or grooming his field companions. He comes to call in the field and genuinely enjoys being brought in to work.

Earlier in the year he attended an introductory dressage competition which he behaved impeccably at. He coped in a busy warm-up and stood nicely tied to the box. He seemed to enjoy getting out and seeing the world.

Finding the right home is extremely important to me. This has been a very difficult decision that I’ve gone back and forth on, but due to changes in my health and circumstances I will soon no longer have the time he deserves.

Finn is a stunning Welsh sec A 6 year old gelding very sad sale so please no time wasters in no rush to sell him and will happily still carry on the show season with him and get more tickets. Only for sale due to personal circumstances, he’s clean climbed, will go far in the show ring, he was brought to teach my girls to ride and start off in the show ring.
All Vaccs, teeth, worming, farrier up to date, is good to shoe and will happily let my young girls bath him and pamper him, Happily travels in a lorry or a trailer and loads first time. This year has been his first year in the Tiny tots and lead rein classes with my daughters aged 4 and 3 winning many red rosettes and a strong championship and he is always in the top 3, he’s also got a few qualifications. Bunny is a truly special little pony with the sweetest temperament. She is kind, honest, patient, and an absolute pleasure to have around, making her a firm favourite wherever she goes.

She has naturally beautiful flatwork and works happily in a lovely outline when asked. Jumping is where Bunny really shines—she absolutely loves it! She’s brave, genuine, and unfazed by fillers, coloured poles, or new surroundings, always giving her rider confidence.

Bunny has enjoyed Pony Club activities, camps, local shows, and fun rides, taking everything in her stride. She behaves impeccably away from home and is just as easy and relaxed out and about as she is in her stable.

She has proven herself to be a fantastic all-rounder, happily turning her hoof to anything asked of her. She would continue to excel as a Pony Club pony but also has the quality and movement to do very well in the show ring or dressage with the right rider.

Lead rein isn’t her favourite job, but she will happily do it. She has a lovely forward walk, trot and canter, while still having excellent brakes and steering.

Dexter, approx 14.1 black cob gelding. 16yrs. Super happy hacker. 100% in every way, clips, loads, bathes, always barefoot. Dexter has been on loan to the same family for almost 5 years where they have mainly hacked/fun rides. He’s the first to greet you, lovely personality - he loves to be spoiled and will stand forever to be pampered. Occasionally needs to be reminded of his manners on the ground, as can be determined when he sees grass! He comes with all his tack and rugs.
On Wednesday he passed a stage 2 vetting, but the vet did notice some mild Cpl, which unfortunately put the prospective buyer off. With the right care - lots of turnout/excercise, keeping weight down and a low sugar diet, this is very manageable.
Dexter would suit anybody! He doesn’t live life in the fast lane, but he is super safe, you don’t have to consistently nag him, he’s just a little more ‘steady’ than some. What a great thing to be! He goes first/last/somewhere in the middle. Can be a little more enthusiastic in company but never in danger of not stopping. Every loves Dexter.
He’s carrying a little extra weight currently, and needs to continue to do so. Has never had lami.

I bought Acorn (Fleethouse Anastasia) from a local breeder at 6 months old and have owned her since.

She was started slowly as a 3 ½ /4 year old after lots of time out in a herd as a youngster to mature. She’s now a well formed, straight forward, keen ride and absolutely loves her job.
Hacks happily alone and in company, she’s off the leg and forward but sensible and polite.

Schools nicely and has it all there just needs tuning with more consistent schooling as have kept things very basic and we only have a grass school.
Brave and responsive to jump. Loves poles and has jumped everything I’ve put in front of her so far.

She has so much scope and would make a fab little partner to event or show jump for a confident child, teen or small adult. Been to local and county shows, loads and travels well and happily stands at the box.
Such a great little character that really isn’t fazed by much. Happily had kids and beginners on the lead rein and with more miles on the clock and exposure, would be a perfect 1st/2nd pony. Not currently suitable for a complete novice as she does have the odd justified spook and still appreciates clear aids and confidence from the rider.

Evie is a grey Highland pony mare, she's a big girl at approx 14.2 hh although never been officially measured, 14 yrs old. She's a quiet lovely pony to ride, alone or with others. In 2022 I rode her alone along part of the Southdowns Way, she took it all in her stride & was brilliant riding through the sheep, past cattle and staying over in strange paddocks.
Evie has been great being turned out with other ponies and also with just one other, she is sweet with other ponies and would be a good mother.
She's enjoyed doing polework clinics and will pop a little log out in the woods and easily goes into the river.
A few years back i did inhand showing and she was always in the ribbons & in her youth inhand Reserve Champion at Pembrokeshire County show. She's not been shown recently, as she's been out on loan.
She hasn't had a lot of exposure to traffic as I ride directly onto trails and forests, so she can be nervous of some vehicles and her price reflects this.
She has been out on loan for 3 years, the past year to an 8 year old.
I no longer need Evie as I was keeping her for my daughter, hoping she'd return to riding, but this won't happen now, as she is expecting.
