How much does it cost to place a classified ad?

There is a single standard charge of £8.99 for all adverts, but the payment may be waived under certain conditions at the administrator’s discretion to give a free advert (online submissions). All adverts are displayed for up to 6 months.

Adverts submitted by Email, phone or post will be charged the standard £8.99 regardless of value or advert type.

Online Submission Prices

The standard charge of £8.99 is required for:

  • All equines offered for sale or rehoming regardless of value.
  • All equines offered for, loan. The term "Loan" includes: share, part loan, riding offered or rider wanted.
  • All other offered ads with a value of £175 or more.
  • Offered adverts with no price displayed, POA, Offers, etc.
  • Animals standing at stud.
  • Adverts offering livery or grazing regardless of value.
  • Any repeat advert, items previously advertised within the last two months or exceeding the fair usage limit.
  • Goods sold, supplied, or produced to order or as part of a trade or business without a current directory listing.

The following will be free of charge at the administrator's discretion (online submissions):

  • Wanted, not including swap.
  • Small animals (Non Equine) or items offered with a value of less £175.
  • Adverts for livery or grazing from yards with a current directory listing.
  • Employment offered are free.

Many small animals are advertised as rescues or rehoming to avoid advertising charges. Permanent rehoming or rescues will require the standard £8.99 charge unless it is made clear in the advert that no payment or less than £175 will be required.

Adverts subject to payment will only be approved when payment has been received. You can pay by credit/debit/Paypal card securely online through our shopping cart system, phone, cash or post a cheque. If payment is not received within 2 days, the advert will expire from the waiting list.
