Equi Trek Show Treka L with brilliant day living including 2 ring gas hob and sink.
-Can take 2 horses up to 18hh.
-Has had light use since I bought it in 2009 and hasn t been used for 7 years!!
-January 2024 is was professionally serviced and had 4 x new tyres and various other bits. Nearly 1000 was spent on it - invoice can be seen.
-Small soft spot in front corner of ramp so ramp will need some TLC but 95% of it is still solid. This is reflected in price. I replaced the whole ramp about 8 years ago and have just had a quote of 750.
-Previous owners converted the living area to their own spec as they didn t need to sleep in it (see photos). Great place to sit, eat and hide from the rain at shows and to store everything and get changed in. Lots of storage including under bench seat.
-Tack locker built in to side of trailer with 2 saddle racks and bridle hooks.
-Always great to tow.

lovely to drive little lorry

For sale is my 1992 Leyland Daf 45 non turbo 7.5 ton horse box. 6.7 metres long. Recently just passed its mot with just 1 advisory for a slightly rusty diesel tank ( a good 2nd hand tank can be provided and fitted at full asking price ). Room for 2 horses and tack with 2 external lockers. Very light ramp yet robust ramp meaning opening and closing can be done by 1 person. The living area is dry mould and damp free and comes with a double mattress, there is also a fridge and sink with water pump plus a night heater (diesel heater installed)
Overall for its age the lorry is mechanically in very good condition just cosmetically needs a tidy up. Always starts and never let me down, only selling as circumstances have changed and will know longer be needed. I purchased this lorry in 2020 just before lockdown. During lockdown we rebuilt the living space and shortly after the horse became intermittently lame so it's been sparingly used and is in great condition for its age.

The Good Bits:
- Full years MOT
- Low mileage for age
- Open to any inspection at buyers cost.

- Optional additional suspension which you can adjust by remote control for your load (you can lower it so the angle of the ramp is less steep for loading, and then raise it with the horses on board).

- Hydraulic ramp which works every time and just had the hydraulic fluid topped up

- Partitions are very sturdy and in excellent condition

Not so good bits:

Needs replacement reverse camera as I purchased the wrong one.

Ramp needs some repair to the matting at the top but currently doesn't affect use.
Occasionally the speedo sits at 30mph, usually just need to open and close the Taco and it sorts itself (has passed every mot with this issue).
Some water does come into the tack locker during very heavy rain through the small gap between the doors.
Due a service which I haven't done simply due to lack of use and concentration of rebuilding the living. I just couldn't do everything.

Converted in 2009 by Equestrivan in Newbury and upgraded by Trevett and Smith in Landford. Upgrades include a New Aluminium floor, rubber matting and bulkhead in 2021. Regularly serviced. MOT to Oct 24.

Horse Safe Partition so no risk of horses ending up in the crew area. Stalled for 2. Can take 17h horses - Horses travel rear-facing. Unusual swing-top door which creates a very inviting open loading space ideal for tricky loaders.

The crew area has benches which can convert to a single bed and a small jockey door for access to the horse area. Tack Locker and Cupboard, storage over the cab.

Had a new ECU when I bought the box - no problems since. Windows and Light in the Horse area, light in the crew area.

The cab has 3 seats and the horsebox is very easy to drive.
