Haywards One Wish

Born May 2014

Sire: Long Copse Elton (Elite New Forest Stallion and recently received a Gold Award for how well his progeny have done in all disciplines)
Dam: Wraggle Taggle Gypsy

Currently standing unshod at 142cm (14hh)

(Please don’t let her colour and gender put you off – she does not fit the stereotype and is not mareish!!)

This 4yo mare really is going to be something rather special. She has everything – fantastic temperament, floaty ground covering movement, flashy looks, excellent bloodlines, a clean bill of health and a fabulous attitude to life. 14hh at present so with further development/muscling up and a set of shoes she'll end up over 14hh.

Exciting dressage prospect because of her soft light way of going, sensible nature and fabulous movement. She’ll catch the judges eye as soon as she walks into the arena. Also bold and brave enough to event or be a top-notch allrounder.

I bought Cedar direct from the breeder as a weanling and have had her ever since. She has always been an absolute angel and is a joy to handle in all ways. No vices whatsoever and has never done anything nasty or silly. She was shown as a yearling to let her see some of the world. Came home with some red rosettes! Loaded/travelled brilliantly and behaved exquisitely in the ring.

She has been very easy to train so far and has been lunged in pessoa, long reined and lightly backed and is now ready to be taken further. I don't have the time or the help at hand. I’ve done it all on my own so far – that is how easy she is. Has also been for walks out on the Forest in hand since she was a baby. Cedar is as straight forward as they come.

She has always had her feet trimmed regularly, is up to date with worming and vacs and had her teeth done by Tony Rose last autumn before being bitted. He did her by hand and also used power tools and needed no sedation – she was amazing.

I will not sell Cedar to a novice/nervous person. She has so much potential and I want her to continue her education in an experienced knowledgeable home.

Genuine reason for sale. I will be very upset to see her go though and would very much like to keep in contact.

£1200 and worth every penny so please no silly offers.
Photos taken back when she still had some winter coat. She’s all lovely and shiny now in her summer outfit!
