Description
Esme is a 15h1, 4 year old, Irish Sports Horse. She was broken in professionally last year (6 weeks– walk/trot/canter) then turned away for the winter and she is now ready to be brought on. She is homebred and has done a few shows as a foal. Really well handled every day by myself, lives in or out. She is an incredibly lovely horse and would be good to show. She is not marish at all, loves people, has never kicked, reared or bitten. She loads and ties up very well, good to shoe, up to date with vaccinations and worming. I cannot actually think of any negatives about her.

Reason for sale is I am going out of horses but if I wasn’t I would happily keep Esme.

£800 offers accepted. Price reflects how little she has done. Near Badminton. Can be seen any evening or weekend. Photo was taken October 2017 when she was being broken in and a video can be seen upon request. Please contact Harriet on 07590780129.

Description
Willow is a 15hh, 19 year old mare. She has never been ridden due to fracturing her pedal bone at 5 years old. She has been with me since she was 2 years old. She is a great companion mare as she is so easy. She is great with fencing, easy to handle, likes people. She has never had laminitis or any illness (other than the accident when she broke her pedal bone). She is not shod, lives out. She needs rugging in the winter. She has a lovely calming influence and isn't a dominent mare. She has had two foals and lived in a mixed age/sex herd for years and was very happy.

She is a delightful mare that is looking for a new two legs to love and care for her.

Only looking for a home due to losing our grazing. :(

Description
This is an HONEST advert
6 year old Black Welsh D , has bred a foal in 2016 , unbroken , 15hh
Serene moves extremely well and has v good conformation and I took a punt on her and bought her unseen from Wales . She is a very honest sort and not Mareish nor has a bad bad bone in her body , she currently under weight but is eating well and enjoying her food .
She is however very nervous and I would say she has been frightened at some point . She wants to trust but doesn’t know how . She is too lengthier project for me and would benifit from natuaral horsemanship and lots of bonding and ground work and that simply isn’t me . She is going to take time and lots of it , but their is a cracking horse there .
Because she such an honest sort I would really like to find someone that is into the ground work and can give her the chance she needs as I strongly feel her nervousness is not her fault. She needs the right home and will only go to the right person for her.

Description
Cob yearling for sale to make 14.2hh.
Lovely friendly temperament and inquisitive nature. Has seen traffic and scary thing around the yard and isn't really too bothered by anything (apart from the llamas down the road!)

Was rescued in June last year and was very underweight and wary of people, but will now happily be pampered and groomed for hours on end. We have done plenty of desensitization work and have started to venture out on to the forest. Has loaded into a trailer, been boxed, seen the farrier, lead out in company and solo and is vaccinated up-to-date.

Only rehoming due to recent circumstance changes. £100 ono

Description
Reluctantly I am seeing if anyone would be interested in Charlie.

I backed Charlie in the summer of 2017 and rode him up until December before turning him away for a few months. Sadly due to a change in circumstances and work commitments I am finding it difficult to dedicate the time to bring him back into work. He is lunging well again at the moment.

Once backed Charlie proved to be a willing and straightforward pony to ride. We went to a few group lessons which he was very well behaved in and popped over a few small jumps which he loved. Before turning him away we started to do a little hacking and he was happy to go past flapping plastic, horses running around on the other side of a fence, through water etc. even on his own. I didn't get as far as riding him in traffic but lead him and stood him by the road which he wasn't fazed by. He has lovely movement and would make a lovely dressage/jumping/eventing pony.

He is lovely to handle on the ground and loves a fuss. He is excellent to clip and box and he stands well for the farrier when having his feet trimmed.

Charlie's Dam was a Connemara X and his Sire is the showjumping stallion Lauriston.

He would come with all his tack and rugs.

I am looking for £2000 ono as he has a lot of potential.

I can provide some video on request.

Project mare for sale
14.1 registered Welsh d 6 years old.
I brought skyla as my first horse last year and kept her on grass livery.
We did a few shows, hacked out and schooling, she could be abit funny getting on but we soon cracked that and I could use a mountain block.
I decided to move skyla to a yard nearer where I lived and she turned into a very nervous horse running away as soon as you try and get on which has resulted in her making me quite nervous.
She will be sold from grass but I am happy to get on her.
All up together with teeth, farrier and vaccinations

Description
Paddy is eleven years old and is approximately 15:1hh. He is passported as an Irish Sports Horse cross. He is good to do in all ways- groom, tack, box, farrier and so laid back with the vet (teeth and innoculations) it's surprising! He is friendly and affectionate with other horses. We bought Paddy last year as a "mother daughter" share type- he had previously been used with a family in Ireland to give their young son confidence hunting and then had a spell at a riding school in the UK. We have put a lot of care and work into him, and have paid to have him professionally schooled once a week but have come to the conclusion that we are not the right home for him as he is not a novice ride and needs confident riders (like our professional) who can ride him and train him . He can be anxious and therefore not a novice ride he can also be excitable with other horses. He has learned a lot and now works laterall,y rein back etc - sadly our family does not have the time or expertise to give him. We have priced him to be sold as seen "from the field" Videos of him working with our professional riding him this month are available on request. We had him vetted before we bought him and he had a clean bill of health- vacinations/worming etc all up to date. Comes with rugs. Tack available by separate negotiation- saddle and bridle fitted by a saddler. Offers in the region of £1,250

New home wanted for 21yr old mare. Abby is a 15hh ex event pony who unfortunately has a bit too much life left in her for her current older lady owner who just wants to quiet hack. Abby is good to hack in company however can be nappy on her own. She’s good in the school, works in an outline, can do basic lateral work and still enjoys her jumping, an experienced rider will be able to get her going well. She is good to live in our out, and is a good doer, not laminetic. Good for farrier, catch etc. Based in Fareham, Hampshire. Right home more important than price, offers welcome or would consider swap for a ploddy hack

Description
Our handsome Silvo was bought in good faith in July 2017 as a talented jumping pony (he was competing 1.10m) for my 12 year old daughter, but shortly after purchase it was discovered he has a sacroiliac joint condition. Bone scans have shown this. Sadly he now needs a new home as a companion (price would be lowered if he went to a companion home) or hacking pony – he is fully sound – BUT if he was to undergo a personalized treatment programme of physio he could reach his full potential and return to his previous level of work, or higher. For this an experienced very confident rider would be required to bring him back to work slowly with an intensive physiotherapy and ridden program of around 6-8 months, therefore he could also be a project. A sample program of work can be provided. I just don’t have the time to take this on.
Silvo is easy to handle, does not bite or kick and loads easily. He is also good with the farrier. He currently lives out in a small herd but he is better suited to living with only one or two others as he can be dominant. He can live in or out. He is a sensitive, but under-confident pony who has responded incredibly to ‘join up’ and liberty training with my daughter, as once he trusts someone, he bonds with them quickly and gives his heart to them. They have a very strong connection and it will be a very sad sale so home is more important than price. Lunge work, join up and ridden, flat and jump work videos available on request. He is a very clever chap who is quick to learn so no novices or timewasters please.
Up to date with vaccinations / worming / teeth. Currently unshod due to being turned away on field rest for last three months.
£1500 open to offers.Thank you.

Description
Honey has been part of the family for over 5 years. She has looked after my daughter who was a nervous novice rider when we bought her. Honey loves exploring the countryside, does not buck or bolt and is happy to go first or last when out riding. My daughter has outgrown her, hence we are looking for a forever home for this lovely little pony.

She is happy to live in or out, good to box, and is barefoot. Her teeth are done and she is up to date with vaccinations and worming. No health issues.
Honey was on loan from January to July and did a lot of schooling and hacking out. I have not had a rider for her since and she has just been out in the field. Honey would need to be brought back into work, which she loves.

I think she has had a tough life before us. She is a bit head shy and does not like tractors. Would suit a home that loves hacking out with a bit of work in the school. She is a typical pony so when ridden in the school, needs a determined little rider to push her on. Genuine enquiries only. Price is not important, hence she is free to a good home. I am looking for a 5* home for this much loved pony. Saddle, bridle and some rugs ( not in great condition) included on sale.

Description
Excellent bloodlines having come from the Cappa stud (Galway) Ireland. Beautiful paces, has been schooled excellently, has hunted and can jump loves hacking. Has never bucked or reared with me, is good to box, shoe, clip, stable. He is a gentle giant and has never behaved maliciously.
This sensitive sole just has one vice, he occasionally panic bolts. With time and work I believe this could be fixed especially as he matures and becomes more confident. Previously during a period where I was able to get him fit the bolting reduced massively and even when he did bolt it was only for a few seconds and far more manageable. This may be the answer but sadly I can not commit that level of time to keeping him fit. 5* home only as this is a very hard decision for me as he has such a lovely nature. Would consider a loan agreement. £2000

Description
NOW SOLD

17hh rising 9 bay gelding TB ex race horse of excellent breeding
Sire: King’s Theatre (by Sadlers Wells) Dam: Ringzar (by Shernazar)

I have been out of the horsey world for 15 yrs and thought I could carry on where I left off but I have lost my nerve not with him but with myself!
He is being wasted with me and needs a more suitable home that is looking for a project to help him reach his full potential. He needs regular exercising to help build his muscle and top line. He qualifies for RoR. He is good to hack out in company and doesn’t get silly in open fields, he is also good to hack out alone and doesn't seem to get fazed by anything, including heavy traffic, farm machinery, cyclists.
He is a friendly boy both in the saddle and on the ground and he is good with the vet, dentist and to load but can get a bit restless with the farrier but he is slowly getting better. I haven’t tried to clip him as he currently lives out rugged with access to a field shelter. He has been kept with a mixed herd and also with a mare. He is good with traffic, dogs, children and isn’t a spooky type.
He has an old front tendon injury which my vet believes was from his racing days but it has never caused him any problems and he has never been lame. He is up to date with his vaccination, teeth, back, wormer and feet. He is passported and microchipped.
He is a very dear chap and it breaks my heart to have to part with him but this is what is best for him (if not me)! Looking for a 5* home where he will be loved and not moved on from pillar to post. Open to vetting. Experienced home only. No novices. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
I would consider Free Full Time Loan.
£1500 but open to offers to the right home. To include his rugs (3),fly mask, bridle, head collar.
No Time Wasters Please!
New saddle fitted for him recently this is available by separate negotiation.
short videos available which were taken recently.

Description
Res is a 10 year old 16.2hh dark bay pink papered Hanovarian gelding. He has the most amazing personality and is keen to please, creating an instant strong bond with everyone who meets him. He always comes up to say hello. He is kind with other horses, currently out with an 11.2hh gelding. He has lived out 24/7, only needing a rug briefly in the wet and windiest nights. He equally is happy in a stable. He is somewhat unusual being a barefoot warmblood, although he has been shod in the past. He is 100% with farrier / vet / loading etc.

He has sadly had a very hard life. I recently found out he has had surgery for kissing spine. This doesn't however give him any issues in day to day life. I have spent thousands with my vet and Parelli instructor trying to work out why he struggles with being mounted and ridden, but nothing Indicates why. The conclusion has been reached that it must revolve around past memories. I therefore feel he has had enough of people in his past aggressively trying to work through it and he deserves a peaceful life, grazing with a friend or two and/or someone working gently at his pace that appreciates results might not be forthcoming. There is no doubt that I would keep him, but my grazing is very restricted and I feel I cannot meet his true needs. It absolutely breaks my heart to admit this. 5* forever home is more important than price as I cannot bear to act on the only other option being presented by my vet of having him put to sleep as he really is a horse that has so much to give as a friend, companion or indeed continuing with his Parelli groundwork.
