Description
Honey has been part of the family for over 5 years. She has looked after my daughter who was a nervous novice rider when we bought her. Honey loves exploring the countryside, does not buck or bolt and is happy to go first or last when out riding. My daughter has outgrown her, hence we are looking for a forever home for this lovely little pony.

She is happy to live in or out, good to box, and is barefoot. Her teeth are done and she is up to date with vaccinations and worming. No health issues.
Honey was on loan from January to July and did a lot of schooling and hacking out. I have not had a rider for her since and she has just been out in the field. Honey would need to be brought back into work, which she loves.

I think she has had a tough life before us. She is a bit head shy and does not like tractors. Would suit a home that loves hacking out with a bit of work in the school. She is a typical pony so when ridden in the school, needs a determined little rider to push her on. Genuine enquiries only. Price is not important, hence she is free to a good home. I am looking for a 5* home for this much loved pony. Saddle, bridle and some rugs ( not in great condition) included on sale.

Description
Excellent bloodlines having come from the Cappa stud (Galway) Ireland. Beautiful paces, has been schooled excellently, has hunted and can jump loves hacking. Has never bucked or reared with me, is good to box, shoe, clip, stable. He is a gentle giant and has never behaved maliciously.
This sensitive sole just has one vice, he occasionally panic bolts. With time and work I believe this could be fixed especially as he matures and becomes more confident. Previously during a period where I was able to get him fit the bolting reduced massively and even when he did bolt it was only for a few seconds and far more manageable. This may be the answer but sadly I can not commit that level of time to keeping him fit. 5* home only as this is a very hard decision for me as he has such a lovely nature. Would consider a loan agreement. £2000

Description
17hh 8 yr old bay gelding TB ex race horse of excellent breeding
Sire: King’s Theatre (by Sadlers Wells) Dam: Ringzar (by Shernazar)

I have been out of the horsey world for 15 yrs and thought I could carry on where I left off but I have lost my nerve not with him but with myself!
He is being wasted with me and needs a more suitable home that is looking for a project to help him reach his full potential. He needs regular exercising to help build his muscle and top line. He qualifies for RoR. He is good to hack out in company and doesn’t get silly in open fields but he hasn’t hacked alone so I can’t say what he would be like? He is a friendly boy both in the saddle and on the ground and he is good with the vet, dentist and to load but can get a bit restless with the farrier but he is slowly getting better. I haven’t tried to clip him as he currently lives out rugged with access to a field shelter. He has been kept with a mixed herd and also with a mare. He is good with traffic, dogs, children and isn’t a spooky type but is a bit wary of the extra large manhole covers where he will give them a wide berth!
He has an old front tendon injury which my vet believes was from his racing days but it has never caused him any problems and he has never been lame. He is up to date with his vaccination, teeth, back, wormer and feet. He is passported and microchipped.
He is a very dear chap and it breaks my heart to have to part with him but this is what is best for him (if not me)! Looking for a 5* home where he will be loved and not moved on from pillar to post. Open to vetting. Experienced home only. No novices. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
I would consider Free Full Time Loan.
£1500 but open to offers to the right home. To include his rugs (3) two of which are brand new as is a fly mask all of which are still in their packaging, bridle, head collar,
New saddle fitted for him recently this is available by separate negotiation.
short videos available which were taken recently.

Muffin
17 years 15.2hh Thoroughbred mare
Passported and microchipped.
I am looking for a 5* experienced and caring home for my much loved mare, Muffin.
She’s definitely the ‘been there done that’ type. (Don’t let her age put you off, she has plenty of years left in her!) I have owned her for over 2 years now and loved every minute, she's such a sweetie!
During this time she was solely used for polo and hacking, I have now decided to step her down from her polo role into something slightly quieter.
She would suit an experienced personnel looking for a quirky character to have some fun with.
She has taken part in dressage, XC and has also done some school jumping with me. She has three forward paces and a lovely outline!
She hacks out alone or in company.
She isn’t suitable for hunting.
She is brilliant to travel, wash, clip, shoe, worm, teeth and vacs of which are all up to date.
Absolutely no injuries or health issues.
She lives in or out.
Sold from field, only in very light work over summer.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.
I have hundreds of photos and videos available on request.
ALL homes will be vetted, she is very special to me.
Loan with serious view to buy is optional for 6 months to the right person.
PLEASE no time wasters, it is an extremely sad sale.

£1350ono quick sale needed, field lease ends soon.
Price includes bridle and rugs. Saddle at separate negotiation.

Description
Res is a 10 year old 16.2hh dark bay pink papered Hanovarian gelding. He has the most amazing personality and is keen to please, creating an instant strong bond with everyone who meets him. He always comes up to say hello. He is kind with other horses, currently out with an 11.2hh gelding. He has lived out 24/7, only needing a rug briefly in the wet and windiest nights. He equally is happy in a stable. He is somewhat unusual being a barefoot warmblood, although he has been shod in the past. He is 100% with farrier / vet / loading etc.

He has sadly had a very hard life. I recently found out he has had surgery for kissing spine. This doesn't however give him any issues in day to day life. I have spent thousands with my vet and Parelli instructor trying to work out why he struggles with being mounted and ridden, but nothing Indicates why. The conclusion has been reached that it must revolve around past memories. I therefore feel he has had enough of people in his past aggressively trying to work through it and he deserves a peaceful life, grazing with a friend or two and/or someone working gently at his pace that appreciates results might not be forthcoming. There is no doubt that I would keep him, but my grazing is very restricted and I feel I cannot meet his true needs. It absolutely breaks my heart to admit this. 5* forever home is more important than price as I cannot bear to act on the only other option being presented by my vet of having him put to sleep as he really is a horse that has so much to give as a friend, companion or indeed continuing with his Parelli groundwork.

14.3hh approx, Bay TB Mare, 9 years old.
Very low mileage as bought for Polo as a 3 year old but took a while to mature and is not going to be suitable for this job.
She has been re-schooled, showing three good basic paces and has been popping over small jumps, showing a nice shape over a fence. She has started being introduced to small local shows and although very green shows a willingness to try anything. Hacks in company but can be a bit spooky on own. She is ready for someone to take further and enjoy.
Ideal project. No novices.
£1000 as been in field over summer due to lack of time.

18.1hh 6yo Holstein gelding by Carmarge son of cassini.
Sold from field due to having a slight lameness on right hind.
Had nerve block, bone scan and have found nothing. Vets have said to either work to strengthen or turn away for 6-12 months.

Did have the intention of turning him away while I was at university however the livery I arranged has let me down. So now very much struggling juggling university, horses and family.
Is beutiful schooled just not been touched for months.
Open to any ideas of loan for 6-12 months as a companion/hacker so I get to keep him.
He is an extremely smart horse but my circumstances have been very difficult.
Very hard decision.

"Odin" is a 4yo coloured chaps registered cob x freisian and is show quality. 14.2h. Very low mileage so needs knowledgable home to bring him on. He is homebred by us but because of family ill health we are having to part with him so a forever home is important. He has seen hounds and was very well behaved. Done lots of road work, and has been brought up on a very busy working farm and is a 100percent bombproof to that. He can be a bit cheeky at times so needs firm handeling. Has never bitten or kicked. Rugs included. No vices, good with farrier, vet, loads and travels well. Priced to sell at £1100 but very negotiable to the right home.

Willow is a 15hh, 19 year old mare. She has never been ridden due to fracturing her pedal bone at 5 years old. She has been with me since she was 2 years old. She is a great companion mare as she is so easy. She is great with fencing, easy to handle, likes people. She has never had laminitis or any illness (other than the accident when she broke her pedal bone). She is not shod, lives out. She needs rugging in the winter. She has a lovely calming influence and isn't a dominent mare. She has had two foals and lived in a mixed age/sex herd for years and was very happy.

She is a delightful mare that is looking for a new two legs to love and care for her.

Only looking for a home due to losing our grazing. :(

Description
8 years’ old

Well-mannered and sweet natured horse, just lacks confidence being ridden through the limited ridden work he has done. Eager to please gelding that has a heart of gold however, I lack the time and confidence to continue his education.

Been brought on slowly as it’s taken a while for him to mature mentally. He has recently been professionally schooled, and is currently doing groundwork & being led out on forest from another horse.

He is the type of horse that needs to be lunged before ridden, as he can be fresh. Known to buck initially especially if fresh and unsure on a situation. Can be nervous when unsure but needs confident rider to guide him through.

Will make a cracking horse for someone who has time to further him on. He is good to catch, farrier, roadwork, load and lives out all year.

Sold as a project and as seen from field.

Not for a novice, please experienced homes only.

Harley is a lovely horse with bags of talent and really requires a competitive home as he likes to be kept busy. He has just completed a year at Sparsholt College and was an Academy horse for both Dressage and Showjumping, so he definitely has a lot of talent.

Unfortunately, he does not cope well with the large herd turn out at the college so I have decided to find another home for him. As an ex-racehorse he has a few minor issues- he has been seen to crib bite if he is stabled to long and gets a bit bored - I have managed this well with a Gut Balancer supplement so he rarely does it now.

Home much more important than price - so please contact me if you are interested. He is due to leave the college 19 August so I am keen to find him a lovely forever home.

**Experienced Home needed will buck with someone inexperienced or nervous**
Slightly pigeon toed.
Still available through no fault of his own, he has now been ridden a number of times after the winter off, really hasn't put a foot wrong, hacked out on his own from a location he has never hacked in before, has been ridden gently in a school in walk and trot again without incident. He will easily be brought back into full work.

10 year old gelding, still green but bags of potential.
Available due to loss of sharer and change in working hours.

Fred is lovely to handle from the ground, my 8 year old leads him and my very nervous 12 year old rode him walk and trot in the school last winter, hes good out hacking hacks alone or in company goes first or last and never known to get fizzy.
Will stop and look or pop the odd shy in but nothing you wouldn't expect from a youngster.
I believe he's had a nasty experience in the school as when he's 1st brought back into work or had any longer than a week off he will put a buck or leap in. I've never fallen off him because of it but due to this I would want him to go to an experienced home so sorry no novices.
Having said that I do beleive with consistency and regular schooling her will soon get over it as when he was school daily last year it stopped after a week and could be a fantastic mother/daughter share.

Hector is a 13hh New Forest type pony. He is rising 6 and has just been professionally backed. He is good with the farrier and shows no vices. Hector loves to be groomed and get attention. He is a bit of a foodie but shows great potential for the show ring. I am looking for a kind home with other horses. the rider must have experience with young horses as although there have been no issues through his backing he needs a knowledgable and affectionate home who can support him if he gets nervous. Long term loan with a view to sale to the right home. I can assure any takers that they will fall for this affectionate little pony.

Long term loan with a possible view to sale. Ajax is a 13.1 new forest type pony rising 6 years, just backed and ready to move on. He would suit a small adult or confident competent teen. Ajax is a completely blank canvas who has been professionally backed and shows no vices and could go far with a sound start. He is good with the farrier and seems curious rather than fearful when presented with new experiences. His new home should be experienced and knowledgable and offer him other equine companions.

Description
Hi! My name is Beejay. I’m a 26 year old 16’2” thoroughbred x New Forest schoolmaster. I have had a fantastic competition career which ended a few years ago. Since then, I have been pottering about in the Hampshire countryside and keeping my hoof in in the arena.
Last year, I started tripping up when out on hacks so I have had to stop doing those, which is such a shame because I love them. However, I still love my work and enjoy the opportunity to show off in the school. The only problem is that no one has enough time to ride me at the moment. As a result, recently, there have been some times when I have been stiff or lame, but I am pretty sure that I will be okay if I can stay in light work.
Currently, I live in a yard in Shedfield with my mate Frankie. However, my mum is struggling to look after us both and could do with some help.
Ideally, I am looking for a new home where I can spend my retirement. I love going out in the field but would be very happy to have a nice warm stable to sleep in during the winter. I am good with other horses and would make a friendly companion or part of a herd. I am not sure how much ridden work I can still do but would love the opportunity to give it a go. I have just had my shoes taken off so I need to start gently.
If you were able to take me on long term loan you could simply take on my costs but I would need to stay nearby my current yard in Hampshire where my mum and friends can visit me. I am adorably mischievous and my favourite things are back scratches, pulling funny faces and treats!
If you might have a home for me, please email my friend Emma-Christine (E-C) on eece@cantab.net.

16.2hh Tb, 13yrs, Light Bay, Ex-racehorse, £1500

Bear is an absolute gent and would make a fantastic all rounder, hunter or RoR competition horse for a fairly confident rider. He hacks beautifully alone and in company. He would suit both female and male riders. Great with traffic, farrier, loading, etc.

Since retiring from racing he has hunted, had some cross-country schooling and been to a couple of show jumping lessons and competitions. He is still quite green to these things but very responsive, learns fast and enjoys doing it. He can get a little excited when we go into a field and may do a happy buck. Just one.

Having raced, he will not be suitable for a dressage only home.

He must go to a 5 star home. A very sad sale, but I no longer have time for him due to a change of family circumstances. This is a project for someone as he is currently in a field doing nothing and needs bringing on again.
